Kris Dunn (sprained left MCL) has practiced four days in a row this week but it "doesn't seem likely" that he'll play this weekend, according to NBC Sports' Mark Strotman.

Dunn hasn't been limited during practices. "[I] did everything," he said. "Just taking it step by step, trying to get my legs and rhythm back, my conditioning back, my feel of the game and just go from there." Newly-minted head coach Jim Boylen lavished Dunn with praise, saying, "Kris is a guy that’s so superior athletically, it just changes the way you look right off the bat." Ryan Arcidiacono has had some nice moments as the starting PG but the job is Dunn's for the taking when he's healthy, and he shouldn't be on your waiver wire.

Fred VanVleet (back) practiced with the team on Tuesday and is probable for Wednesday's game vs. Indiana.

Dec 18 - 12:53 PM

Pascal Siakam (back stiffness) practiced on Tuesday and is probable for Wednesday's game vs. the Pacers.

Siakam was injured on Friday in a scary fall and was unable to play to Sunday vs. the Nuggets. Fortunately, it looks that will be just a one-game absence for the sharpshooting wing. C.J. Miles started in place of Siakam on Sunday and logged 33 minutes, but will be bumped back to the bench
Dec 18 - 12:52 PM

Coach Alvin Gentry said Julius Randle (sprained right ankle) has been ruled out of Wednesday's game vs. Milwaukee.

Randle injured his ankle in Sunday's loss to the Heat when he came down on a Miami's player's foot. He was in immediate pain and limped to the locker room. It was expected he would miss at least one contest, as coach Gentry indicated he was doubtful for Wednesday after Sunday's game. Nikola Mirotic (ankle) has also been ruled out, so the Pels will be shorthanded up front. Cheick Diallo will see all the minutes he can handle, and New Orleans will also likely go small, with Darius Miller , Solomon Hill and Wes Johnson playing some PF.
Dec 18 - 12:51 PM

Kyle Lowry (left thigh contusion) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Indiana.

Dec 18 - 12:49 PM

Justise Winslow (right ankle pain) did not practice on Tuesday but is probable for Thursday's game vs. the Rockets.

Winslow, who was dealing with right calf tightness last week, injured his right ankle in Sunday's victory in New Orleans and was unable to return to that contest. However, it appears he avoided anything serious, as the fact that he is listed as probable is certainly encouraging. However, after a strong start to the month, Winslow has come crashing back down to earth. He's averaging just 5.0 points (on 25% shooting) and 3.3 rebounds in 22.7 minutes over the Heat's last three games.
Dec 18 - 12:37 PM

Coach Scott Brooks announced that Trevor Ariza will start in his Wizards debut vs. the Hawks on Tuesday night.

The trade, sending Kelly Oubre and Austin Rivers to Phoenix in exchange for Ariza, was made official on Monday. Ariza is in Atlanta with the team and was able to participate in shootaround. Ariza will likely see all the minutes he can handle in his debut. The Wizards will need him, especially with Otto Porter (knee) sidelined. It may take a little time to build some chemistry with his new mates, but Ariza projects as a solid fantasy contributor in Washington. He should be owned in all leagues.
Dec 18 - 12:10 PM

Tobias Harris scored 39 points, shooting 15-of-22 from the field and 6-of-8 from the foul line, while also tallying 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes Monday vs. Portland.

The point total represents a new career-high for Harris, who has scored 30 points or more three times this season. And with nine double-doubles thus far, he's likely a safe bet to establish a new career high for double-doubles in a season (he had 12 during the 2015-16 campaign). Not only is Harris a highly valuable fantasy player, but he's also a worthy candidate for an All-Star Game spot.
Dec 18 - 1:22 AM

Russell Westbrook triple-doubled in a 121-96 win over the Bulls on Monday, scoring 13 points with 16 rebounds and 11 assists.

This was his seventh triple-double of the season and 111th of his career. He finished 5-of-13 from the field and 3-of-4 from the line with four turnovers, adding five steals in 32 minutes. Westy has an absurd 19 steals in his last four games which has bumped him up to a league-leading 2.5 per game as he continues to dominate four categories (points, rebounds, assists and steals) for his fantasy owners. His lack of triples, poor percentages and high turnovers have held his value in check, though.
Dec 17 - 11:46 PM

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Suns will waive Austin Rivers.

He was cleared to join the team less than 24 hours ago, but he was always going to be an odd fit on the tanking Suns. Instead, Rivers will look to latch on with a contender once he clears waivers. De'Anthony Melton was quiet on Monday night, but this decision from the Suns is a good sign for his rest-of-season outlook.
Dec 17 - 11:23 PM

De'Aaron Fox finished scoreless in six minutes in a 132-105 loss vs. the Wolves on Monday.

Coach Dave Joerger was overdue to annoy fantasy owners, as he basically punted this game when the Kings were run out of the building in the first half. Fox was coming off one of his best stretches of the season with 25+ points in four out of his previous six games, and he wasn't the only King with a disastrous night as Nemanja Bjelica played just five minutes, Willie Cauley-Stein played seven and Bogdan Bogdanovic played 10. On the bright side, at least he'll be fresh for Wednesday's game vs. the Thunder.
Dec 17 - 10:50 PM

Reggie Bullock notched a career-high 24 points (9-of-14 FGs) with three rebounds, one assist and five triples in 34 minutes against the Bucks on Monday.

He recently returned from a 5-game absence, but had 15 points (5-of-11 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs) with three rebounds, one assist, and four 3-pointers in 30 minutes in his first game back and followed that up with one of the best games of his career. Bullock and Stanley Johnson (20 points) have been hit or miss for most of the season, but Bullock has nine triples in his last two games and is worth a look in certain roster builds, as he's only useful in a handful of categories (points, triples, assists and FT%).
