ABC Detroit reports Lions CB Aaron Berry was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Harrisburg, Pa. on Saturday.

Unbelievable. Counting two each for Nick Fairley and Mikel Leshoure, that's now six arrests for the Lions this offseason. Arrested at 4:45AM, Berry was booked after striking two parked vehicles and fleeing the scene. In addition to DUI, he's been charged with causing accidental damage to an unattended vehicle and failure to stop and give information to law enforcement. The Lions have gone above and beyond to pump up Berry as their answer at right cornerback, but this won't help his chances of holding off third-round pick Dwight Bentley and Jacob Lacey in camp. It's getting harder to deny the Lions have a discipline problem.

Browns coach Hue Jackson is holding off on naming his Week 8 starter at quarterback.

Jackson said each of Cody Kessler, DeShone Kizer and Kevin Hogan are a possibility. Our money is on Kessler, though it's possible the Browns give Kizer one last chance under center. With the season already torpedoed at 0-7, Jackson doesn't have much to lose.

The Miami Herald reports DeVante Parker will test his injured ankle on Tuesday ahead of Thursday Night Football.

It sounds like Tuesday will determine if Parker plays against the Ravens or misses his third straight game. The Miami Herald reported earlier Monday the Dolphins backed off Parker late last week in an effort to get him healthier. Kenny Stills has been picking up the slack in Parker's absence.

NFL Network's Mike Garofolo reports Redskins CB Bashaud Breeland (knee) is "pushing to play" Monday against the Eagles, and will likely be active.

Garofolo hints Breeland will likely be on a pitch count if he does suit up. With Josh Norman (ribs) out, even a limited Breeland would be a big boost against the Eagles' white-hot passing attack.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports the Steelers have "no plans" to trade or suspend Martavis Bryant.

A frustrated Bryant has made social media waves each of the past two weeks, and blew off mandatory team meetings on Monday, supposedly for a doctor's appointment. It's still unsurprising the Steelers aren't interested in trading a 6-foot-4 touchdown scorer, even if he's not a major part of the offense right now. They have eight days to change their mind. It seems unlikely that they will. For fantasy purposes, Bryant is little more than a last man on the bench in 12-team leagues.

Dolphins coach Adam Gase confirms Jay Cutler is dealing with cracked ribs, and will be sidelined for Week 8.

With the Dolphins playing on Thursday Night Football, Cutler had no shot at being ready for Week 8. He's expected to be sidelined 2-3 weeks. Matt Moore provided an immediate spark on Sunday, but Gase has been adamant Cutler will be the team's starter when healthy. Moore has a tough short-week assignment in the Ravens.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Cowboys K Dan Bailey (groin) is expected to miss "several weeks."

This appeared to be the likely outcome after Bailey was quickly ruled out against the 49ers. Dallas will work out free agent Ks Jason Myers, Mike Nugent, Sam Irwin Hill, and Younghoe Koo this week.

Browns announced LT Joe Thomas will miss the rest of the season with a torn left triceps.

An MRI confirmed the injury on Monday, and Thomas will likely be placed on injured reserve this week. It is a devastating blow for the Browns which also ends Thomas' streak of 167 consecutive starts. Spencer Drango replaced Thomas at left tackle on Sunday.
Oct 23 - 12:30 PM

Marlon Mack played 32-of-67 snaps (48%) Week 7 against the Jaguars.

Frank Gore played just 22. With Robert Turbin out and the Colts down big, Mack handled much of the work in the second half and easily had the biggest snap share of his career. It was not all roses as the rookie dropped a couple passes, but he also went for 34 yards on a dump off, showcasing his big-play ability. Likely to see his role continue to grow, Mack needs to be rostered in all leagues.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reports Teddy Bridgewater (knee, PUP) will not play Week 8 against the Browns.

The game will be held at Twickenham Stadium in England, and Florio writes the Vikings do not want to risk Bridgewater on the "notoriously slippery" soccer field. With the Vikings on bye Week 9, that means the earliest we will see Bridgewater is Week 10 against Washington, but it is not a given he will be the starter even once he is healthy enough to play. For now, Bridgewater is just a stash in deep two-quarterback leagues.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Texans LT Duane Brown will not be traded.

Brown ended his holdout by reporting to the team on Monday. It is good timing for the Texans with fill-in LT Chris Clark expected to miss some time with a calf injury, although it remains to be seen if Brown will be ready to play this week. For what it is worth, the tackle says he is "in shape" and ready to go. When he does get back on the field, Brown will be a big upgrade for an offense which is already trending the right way with rookie Deshaun Watson at quarterback.
Oct 23 - 10:14 AM

Orleans Darkwa played 21-of-59 snaps (36%) Week 7 against the Seahawks.

Wayne Gallman ended up playing one more snap, although Darkwa did touch the ball five more times. Still, the snap split is disappointing after Darkwa carried the offense in the upset win over the Broncos Week 6. Darkwa will have a good matchup against the Rams following the bye, but he will not be an exciting fantasy option as part of a committee on a low-scoring offense.
