Cowboys signed LB Orie Lemon from the team's practice squad.

Lemon is in his second year out of Oklahoma State. He spent the entire 2011 season on the practice squad. This offseason, Lemon was in the conversation as having a real shot at making the 53-man roster. If active, he figures to be limited to special teams.

Robert Griffin III will remain the Redskins' starter for Week 13.

Speaking Monday, coach Jay Gruden said he had "every intent" to start RGIII against the Colts. RGIII was positively dreadful in Sunday's loss to the 49ers, but received little help from his teammates, particularly his offensive line. Nevertheless, 11 completions for 106 yards is not acceptable at the NFL level, and Griffin will be at risk of in-game benchings for the rest of the season. Even in a potentially high-scoring game with the Colts, RGIII will be a high-risk QB2.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Browns FS Tashaun Gipson has been diagnosed with a torn MCL, and is done for the regular season.

Specifically, he'll be sidelined 6-8 weeks. Per Rapsheet, Gipson has avoided ACL damage, however, and could return for the postseason if the Browns elect to hold him off injured reserve. It's a huge blow for 7-4 Cleveland, as Gipson's six interceptions lead the league. Gipson has graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 3 safety. Jim Leonhard and Jordan Poyer are the next men up on the depth chart.

The Houston Chronicle reports Ryan Mallett (pectoral) is done for the season.

Brutal. Mallett waited over three years for his chance to become an NFL starter, and it ends after two games, only one of which he was healthy for. Mallett's reward for playing hurt in Sunday's loss was 60 minutes of bad film heading into the open market. It's unclear if the Texans will turn back to Ryan Fitzpatrick, or perhaps go into full-on evaluation mode with fourth-round rookie Tom Savage. Heading into his age-27 season as a statue-esque pocket passer with only 79 career throws, Mallett is going to be a strange case in free agency.

Vikings WR Charles Johnson played on 67-of-69 snaps in Sunday's loss to the Packers.

Even with Greg Jennings (ribs) and Jarius Wright (hamstring) active, Johnson was a full-time player. It's an exciting revelation for a player we've long been tracking because he goes 6'2/217 and runs a 4.38. Over the last two weeks, Johnson has totaled 9-139-1 on a team-high 18 targets, emerging as the No. 1 receiver for Teddy Bridgewater. Johnson makes for an intriguing deeper-league streamer in a home game against the Panthers' weak corner corps in Week 13. Jennings is done, Patterson is far too raw and Wright is a sub-average player that's been passed on the depth chart.

Odell Beckham had 10 catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday night's Week 12 loss to Dallas.

Beckham made a highlight one-handed 43-yard touchdown over Cowboys CB Brandon Carr in the second quarter. He easily won one-on-one matchups, and was able to get open against double teams. Beckham was targeted a team-high 11 times, but briefly exited in the fourth quarter with a back injury. He's now posted 90-plus yards in four straight weeks and is averaging at least seven catches since entering the starting lineup. Beckham will be a top-ten receiver play in Week 13 and has a favorable rest-of-season schedule with games against Jacksonville, Tennessee, and Washington.

Texans QB Ryan Mallett played through an injured right pectoral muscle during Sunday's Week 12 loss to the Bengals.

Mallett suffered the potentially season-ending injury in warmups, perhaps explaining his erratic play against the Browns. He's headed for an MRI and if it shows a tear, the chance he's been awaiting for so long is over. The Houston Chronicle is already suggesting that Ryan Fitzpatrick is "likely back" for the foreseeable future, although we wouldn't be shocked if the Texans turned to fourth-round rookie Tom Savage. Bill O'Brien has seen Fitzpatrick's ceiling and hit his head on it.

Demaryius Thomas caught 10-of-13 targets for 87 yards and three touchdowns in Denver's Week 12 win over the Dolphins.

With Peyton Manning struggling with his deep-ball accuracy and the Dolphins trying to keep everything underneath, Thomas got to work on short-to-intermediate routes, and scored his seventh, eighth and ninth touchdowns of the season, none of which went for more than 14 yards. Thomas is now the owner of a ridiculous 82/1,192/9 line with five games to go.

Larry Fitzgerald's knee sprain is not responding as the Cardinals had hoped.

Coach Bruce Arians conceded that Fitzgerald "couldn't run" during pregame warmups. It's not overly surprising considering he sustained a Grade 2 MCL sprain in Week 11, which is often a multi-week injury. We'd consider Fitz very questionable for Week 13 at Atlanta, which makes impressive rookie John Brown a must-add. Brown had 3-61-0 at Seattle Sunday and has shown an ability to do much more in plus matchups.

C.J. Anderson rushed 27 times for 167 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' Week 12 win over the Dolphins, adding four catches for an additional 28 yards.

The rushing score was the first of Anderson's career, while the 195 yards from scrimmage were the most by any Broncos back this season. This, against a Dolphins run defense that entered the day allowing just 3.8 yards per carry and 94.5 yards per game. To top things off, Anderson recovered a Dolphins onside kick to ice the game. Anderson was quick through the hole, and smooth in the passing game. He's shown off a complete skill-set when called upon this season, and could be running away with No. 1 duties, regardless of Ronnie Hillman (foot) and Montee Ball's (groin) health. He'll be an RB1 for next week's matchup with the Chiefs' leaky run defense.
Nov 23 - 7:51 PM

Anquan Boldin secured 9-of-12 targets for 137 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers' Week 12 win over the Redskins.

Boldin turned in one of this game's highlight-reel plays late in the fourth quarter with a powerful 29-yard reception at the end of which "Q" drew a 15-yard unnecessary roughness flag. The catch set up Carlos Hyde's game-winning four-yard TD run. Proving to be a steal based on where he was drafted this fall, Boldin has been the lone consistent target in Colin Kaepernick's passing game. He does have a difficult Week 13 matchup on deck against Seattle.
Nov 23 - 7:42 PM

Keenan Allen caught six passes for 104 yards and one touchdown in the Chargers' 27-24, Week 12 win over the Rams.

Allen was targeted a game-high nine times. He got off to a slow start with 2-29 heading into halftime, but turned it up late, scoring the 29-yard game-winning touchdown on a bubble screen to the left. Before that grab, Allen turned an intermediate catch into a 35-yard catch-and-run. But he lost a fumble at the end of the play inside the red zone. It was his second lost fumble of the day after he muffed a punt earlier. The 35-yard catch was his longest of the season, while it was Allen's second 100-yard game. Allen will be a solid WR3 against the Ravens in Week 13.
