The Packers are expected to limit CB Davon House (questionable, shoulder) if he returns in Week 5.

House was in the mix for a starting job before missing the first four weeks, but a team source told Pro Football Weekly that playing time could be "increasingly hard to come by." He'll enter Sunday's game as no higher than fourth on the depth chart behind Sam Shields and rookie Casey Hayward.

Profootballtalk reports Florida LB Jarrad Davis won't get past the Dolphins at No. 22.

Considered a surefire first-rounder, Davis has been bandied about as a mid-evening pick. The Miami Herald has the Dolphins locked into a defensive end, but perhaps that's under the assumption Davis won't be there.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Chiefs are the team making the "most noise" about trading up, perhaps into the top 10.

Could the Chiefs be looking for an exit strategy from the Alex Smith era? Syracuse.com reported earlier Thursday that Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes is expected to go in the top 10, and that the Chiefs are "known to love him." That's still a fair amount of dot connecting, but perhaps sensing a window that won't be open much longer, the Chiefs are on the hunt for an impact player.

The Post-Standard reports Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes is expected to go in the top 10.

Per reporter Matthew Fairburn, the Chiefs are "known to love" Mahomes, and are considering a trade up. The top 10 isn't lacking for quarterback-needy teams, including the team Fairburn covers, the Bills, at No. 10. Although this is considered a relatively poor quarterback class, teams appear prepared to go as crazy as usual pursuing football's most important position.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot reports the Browns have been "working the phones" trying to trade up from No. 12 overall to draft Mitchell Trubisky.

Cabot, via multiple league sources, reports the Browns will take Myles Garrett with the No. 1 overall pick and then focus their attention on coming up from No. 12 to land Trubisky. It'll be easier said than done, but Cleveland has plenty of draft ammo to pull it off if they want. Cabot reports talks will get going if Trubisky falls into the pick Nos. 5-6 range of the first round. The 49ers, Bears, and even the Jaguars are options to take Trubisky at Nos. 2-4 when Cleveland passes at No. 1.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Ole Miss TE Evan Engram could "sneak" into the first round.

Engram wouldn't exactly be sneaking, as he's been billed as a potential late first-rounder since early in the draft process. Engram is generally considered an exceptionally strong tight end class' No. 3 player behind O.J. Howard and David Njoku. Engram is a dynamic pass catcher with 4.42 speed, but isn't exactly honed at the finer points of one of football's most difficult positions.

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Browns will select Texas A&M EDGE Myles Garrett with the No. 1 overall pick.

Even the Browns can't screw this one up. Cabot's report comes via "multiple league sources." While the smoke around Mitchell Trubisky possibly leaping Garrett and becoming the Browns' preferred choice at No. 1 has been heavy, Cabot reports the Browns have been "working the phones" trying to trade up from No. 12 in order to come away with both Garrett and Trubisky on Thursday.

ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports the Jets could select Alabama TE O.J. Howard at No. 6 overall.

Widely considered the best player in an unusually deep tight end class, Howard is a freak athlete at 6-foot-6, 251 pounds. The Jets haven't had a proper tight end for years, and lack weapons on offense. Were Howard to actually come off the board at No. 6, he would be the first tight end to go in the top six since Vernon Davis in 2006.

Appearing on 1010 Jacksonville on Thursday afternoon, the Florida Times Union's Ryan O'Halloran predicted the Jaguars will select Clemson QB Deshaun Watson at No. 4 overall.

This one has picked up considerable steam over the last 24 hours. Everything had seemingly been pointing to the Jaguars taking Leonard Fournette as a way to change the team's identity on offense, but going with Watson would be an even bigger way to achieve that same goal. If Watson is the pick, it would likely be coming straight from EVP Tom Coughlin flexing his muscles and forcing GM Dave Caldwell to end the Blake Bortles era. The entire first round is unpredictable this year.

USA Today's Tom Pelissero cautions "not to overlook" the possibility of the Cowboys stopping Ohio State CB Gareon Conley's slide.

Conley visited Dallas during the pre-draft process, and fielded a call from the team Wednesday. As Pelissero points out, the Cowboys are no strangers to risk tasking, and need a cornerback. Conley's situation is similar to La'El Collins', whom the Cowboys signed after he went undrafted in 2015. CBS' Jason La Canfora reported earlier Thursday that Conley could still go in the first round.

Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reports the Broncos have had trade up talks with the Titans, who select at No. 5.

The scuttlebutt has the Broncos eyeing offensive linemen, but that kind of rocket move from No. 20 would likely be with something else in mind. The Titans also own the No. 18 overall pick, which would be a more reasonable move. The Broncos have been connected to Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey most of the offseason, but it's unlikely GM John Elway would mortgage the farm to move up 15 spots for a running back.
Apr 27 - 3:31 PM

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Falcons are "plotting a potential move" up from No. 31.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported something similar last week. The move would almost certainly be for a specific player, and not a specific need. A pass rusher is one possibility. Tennessee's Derek Barnett and Missouri's Charles Harris are two players who could be available in the low '20s.
