Troy Polamalu aggravated his calf injury late in the first quarter of Sunday's Week 5 game versus the Eagles.

Polamalu hopped off the field on one foot after Michael Vick's second lost fumble of the opening quarter. He's had troubles with his right calf for two consecutive years. According to FOX's Pam Oliver, Polamalu was ruled out for the game just before halftime. Ryan Mundy has come on as his replacement.

Kelvin Benjamin (knee) has avoided ligament damage, but the Bills are unsure of his Week 12 availability.

"We're still looking at the rest of it," coach Sean McDermott said Monday, whatever that means. Either way, it's the best possible news after Benjamin missed 58 minutes Sunday after taking a helmet to his left knee. If he could get cleared for this week, he would have an excellent matchup in the Chiefs. That's if Tyrod Taylor is at quarterback. If it's Nathan Peterman, Benjamin will be off the fantasy radar.

Speaking Monday, Bills coach Sean McDermott said he was "still evaluating" his Week 12 quarterback decision.

It's unclear what there is to evaluate. Tyrod Taylor should have never been benched in the first place and rookie Nathan Peterman was unspeakably bad in his place. McDermott also said he doesn't regret the decision to start Peterman, which leads us to wonder if he knows the definition of regret. If Taylor plays, he'll be firmly on the streaming radar against the Chiefs. If it's Pick Tossin' Nate, fire up the Chiefs.

Bears signed K Cairo Santos, formerly of the Chiefs.

Chicago is moving on from Connor Barth, who missed a game-tying field goal with just three seconds left in the loss to the Lions on Sunday. Santos was waived/injured by the Chiefs in September because of a groin injury, but he is apparently back to full health. Santos has connected on 84.8 percent of his career kicks through four seasons and 96.2 percent of his extra point attempts.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien said he is "unsure" if Will Fuller (ribs) will be back this week.

Fuller sat out Sunday's matchup with the Cardinals because of cracked ribs, an injury which can require several weeks to heal. Bruce Ellington will get another start if Fuller cannot return.

Greg Olsen (foot, injured reserve) said he plans to play Week 12 against the Jets.

Olsen returned to practice on Monday, and his optimism suggests the session went well. He will still need to get through the rest of the week without any setbacks, but all signs point to Olsen suiting up against the Jets. He will worth starting in that matchup.

Colts coach Chuck Pagano said Jacoby Brissett remains in the concussion protocol.

Even so, Pagano went on to say he expects Brissett to be ready to go this week against the Titans. Brissett had been playing pretty well before the injury, and he will be a streaming option in a good matchup if he is cleared.

Dolphins coach Adam Gase confirmed Jay Cutler is in the concussion protocol.

It is not a surprise after Cutler was ruled out in the second half of the Week 11 loss. Gase said there is "no reason" Cutler would not be his starter if he is healthy, but he is not a lock to be cleared in time to face the Patriots on Sunday. Matt Moore will get the start if Cutler has to sit.

Eagles K Jake Elliott is in the concussion protocol.

Elliott suffered the injury making a tackle on the opening kickoff in the win over the Cowboys on Sunday night. Elliott has been very good for the Eagles so far this year, but with Caleb Sturgis eligible to return from injured reserve, the Eagles could decide to make a change if it looks like Elliott will miss a game.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Michael Cohen reports Aaron Jones was arrested for speeding, driving without a valid license, and operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in his system in early October.

Jones has pleaded not guilty to the charges, but the incident report from the stop claims Jones admitted to smoking marijuana three hours before being pulled over. No drugs were found in the car. "I spoke to Aaron after the incident," coach Mike McCarthy said. "He made a mistake." Jones is currently sidelined with a sprained MCL.

The Tampa Bay Times' Rick Stroud said Jameis Winston will "most likely" miss "another week or two."

Stroud reports Winston will be re-evaluated today, but team doctors have yet to clear him to resume throwing. The Bucs gave a timeline of "at least" two weeks when they shut down Winston, and it always felt like two weeks was more hopeful than anything. Ryan Fitzpatrick will continue to start while Winston is sidelined.

Broncos promoted QBs coach Bill Musgrave to offensive coordinator.

Musgrave always seemed like the emergency option should something go wrong with Mike McCoy, and that is exactly what happened. Musgrave led the Raiders' offense to a top-10 season last year, but he was let go so Oakland could promote Todd Downing to the position. Without a real quarterback and little help on the offensive line, Musgrave has a tough job on his hands.
