Pierre Garcon caught three balls for 24 yards in the Redskins' Week 5 loss to the Falcons.

Garcon was on the field consistently, but had one ugly drop and was narrowly missed for another big gain. It didn't help that the Redskins lost the time-of-possession battle by a significant margin. Seemingly past his foot injury, Robert Griffin III's head ailment is now the biggest concern for Garcon's week-to-week fantasy value. Keep a close eye on the Griffin situation before considering starting Garcon in Week 6 against Minnesota.

Vikings OC Pat Shurmur said the team has been "really pleased" with Laquon Treadwell's progress this offseason.

"He came back and he was really on point with what he’s supposed to be doing mentally," Shurmur said. "He’s been out here competing and doing a nice job running routes and catching the ball." The comments came after a practice in which Treadwell ran with the first-team offense. The Vikings brought in contingency plans this offseason, but Treadwell seems to be doing his part to ensure they are not needed.

Luke Kuechly said he is tired of hearing questions about his concussions.

"Hopefully we can move on from that and not ask any more questions about concussions," Kuechly said. "I'm done with that." Kuechly also added he does not think about suffering another head injury. The linebacker is clearly trying to move away from the concerns, but the fact remains he has missed nine games in the last two seasons because of head injuries. They will remain a concern even if he does not want to talk about them.

Rob Gronkowski (back) has been cleared to be on the field at practice.

Gronk's recovery has been progressing well, and he was on the field with the Patriots for the first time today. Gronk was still limited, but this is good news as he gets "ready to roll" into the rest of the preseason. Gronk's injury history is well documented, but the Patriots have shown confidence in him by restructuring his contract this week. Gronkowski should be fully ready for the Patriots' opener.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera said he thinks criticism of Kelvin Benjamin's conditioning has been unfair.

Benjamin looks heavy in pictures and videos from OTAs, but Rivera said he likes where the receiver is in terms of his conditioning. Of course, Rivera is the one who said Benjamin reported for the offseason program "a little heavy." Even if he is not in top shape right now, Benjamin has time to get there before camp.

Coach Sean McDermott said the Bills are "concerned with Charles (Clay's) knee situation."

Clay was signed as a highly paid restricted free agent in 2015, but has had "chronic" knee trouble since. Coach McDermott said they will be cautious with Clay moving forward, and will continue to manage his reps. Battling his knee problems last year, Clay missed several practices and was listed as questionable for most games. The injury will be something to monitor this offseason.

Updating a previous item, Odell Beckham did not report for Thursday's OTA practice.

ESPN's Jordan Raanan reported the receiver was expected to return on Thursday, but he is not there. As one would expect when dealing with Beckham, the situation is being blown completely out of proportion, but players skip OTAs all the time. Beckham will be ready to go when it matters.

The Huffington Post's Jordan Schultz reports Colin Kaepernick "wants to be a Seahawk."

Kaepernick visited with but did not work out for the Seahawks on Wednesday. Schultz reports the visit went "very well" and Kaepernick is willing to be a backup, but there is "no rush" to work out a deal. If the Seahawks share Kaepernick's enthusiasm, they will likely want him in the fold before minicamp begins in June.

Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Josh Doctson (Achilles') has "been impressive."

"The big thing for him is the confidence in his Achilles', and I think he's got that right now," Gruden said. "Now we've just got to continue to put one day after another after another." Doctson twice tried to return from his injury last season, and both times he had to be shut back down. For now, it looks like he is on the right track, but the Redskins will certainly be cautious. Doctson should play a big role if he can stay healthy this season.

Marcus Mariota (leg) is participating at Titans OTAs and appears to be ahead of schedule.

Mariota fractured his fibula and ankle last December. "Four months ago I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to participate in OTAs, and being able to do some of the drills ... I was very happy and very grateful," he said. "It was fun to be out there with the guys." Mariota isn't moving at full speed yet, but he is taking part in walkthroughs, individual drills, and 7-on-7s. He is one of this year's highest-ceiling late-round quarterback picks.

ESPN's Seth Wickersham reports there are still major tensions between Richard Sherman and coach Pete Carroll.

Sherman believes the Seahawks should have won multiple Super Bowls by now, and is concerned about the team's chemistry. In particular, Sherman has been upset at Carroll's unwillingness to critique Russell Wilson and the offense while the defense is forced to play at near perfection. Sherman has been vocal since the Seahawks lost the Super Bowl, including telling friends that he imagined playing for the Cowboys or Patriots with Marshawn Lynch. Despite the long feud and trade rumors, Sherman remains on the Seahawks and will remain a leader on one of the league's best defenses.

Paxton Lynch worked with the first-team during Wednesday's practice.

Trevor Siemian opened OTAs with the first-team, but the pair were always expected to alternate days. Denver7's Troy Renck added the Broncos "could not be happier" with Lynch's "work ethic, attitude and play," echoing 9 News Denver's Mike Klis rebuttal of a critical report earlier this offseason. Siemian is the slight favorite, but Lynch will get every opportunity to unseat him.
