According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Cedric Benson has been diagnosed with a Lisfranc foot injury and is out a minimum of eight weeks.

He could miss the season's remainder if doctors determine he needs surgery. Benson insisted after Sunday's game that his injury wasn't serious, but he was clearly overly optimistic. This is devastating news for Green Bay's ground game, and Benson can now be dropped in all fantasy leagues. Alex Green and James Starks will likely handle the load, but there isn't much upside to the two. Green Bay could scour the free agent market, but aside from Tim Hightower and Steve Slaton, there isn't much available. Lisfranc injuries have notoriously ended seasons, so we're not holding our breath for a return to action.

Coach Sean McDermott said Kelvin Benjamin (knee) will practice Friday.

Benjamin tweaked his knee last Sunday and again in Thursday's practice, but the Bills are going to continue to push him through it to play, as McDermott said he "feels good" about the receiver playing this week. Benjamin will be someone to avoid in fantasy at less than 100% facing sudden shutdown CB Xavien Howard, who has allowed two catches in his last three games.

Bills placed LT Cordy Glenn on injured reserve with a foot injury, ending his season.

Signed to a five-year, $65 million deal in May 2016, Glenn has missed 15 games the past two seasons with recurring foot and ankle issues. Prior to 2016, Glenn hadn't missed a game since his rookie season. Chalk it up to bad timing. Hopefully the offseason will allow Glenn to get right. In the meantime, the Bills will continue to roll out rookie Dion Dawkins at left tackle.

Coach Sean McDermott announced Tyrod Taylor will start Week 15 against the Dolphins.

Nathan Peterman (concussion) has been ruled out. Taylor was going to start either way, however. The Bills are still in the mix in the AFC, and Taylor gives them their best shot at wins. Taylor has played really well at home this season and is on the streaming radar against a Dolphins team coming off a big Monday night win against New England in a prime spot for a letdown.

C.J. Anderson rushed 30 times for 158 yards in the Broncos' Week 15 win over the Colts.

Anderson was held without a catch on one target in the passing game. The 158 yards rushing were the third most of his career. Anderson was shedding an indifferent Colts defense's tackles all night long. Clearly re-established as the Broncos' lead back, Anderson has a whopping 73 touches over his past three games. Operating on 10 days' rest, he will be a workload-based RB2 against the Redskins in Week 16.
Dec 14 - 11:29 PM

Brock Osweiler completed 12-of-17 passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns in the Broncos' 25-13, Week 15 win over the Colts, adding three rushes for 17 yards and an additional score.

Trevor Siemian was knocked out with a season-ending shoulder injury on the Broncos' second drive. Osweiler checked in and promptly balled, dropping dimes and galloping like a gazelle on his 18-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. 54 of his yards and one of his scores came on an absolute seed to TE Jeff Heuerman in the third quarter (it was a weird night). Osweiler's other touchdown was a gutsy 22-yarder to a tightly-covered Cody Latimer (again, weird night). With Paxton Lynch's (high-ankle sprain) health status unknown, there's a good chance Osweiler is under center for Week 16 against the Redskins.
Dec 14 - 11:28 PM

Emmanuel Sanders was forced from Thursday's game against the Colts with a right ankle injury, and will not return.

Sanders injured his ankle early on, tried to gut through it, and was eventually ruled out. It's the same ankle Sanders hurt in Week 6, costing him two games. With fill-in QB Brock Osweiler playing surprisingly well, Sanders was having a nice night, catching 7-of-9 targets for 68 yards. With 10 days to heal up for Week 16, it's possible Sanders doesn't miss any additional time.
Dec 14 - 11:02 PM

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian has been diagnosed with a dislocated left shoulder and is done for the season.

A Friday MRI is expected to confirm the diagnosis. It's far from surprising after Siemian got crunched in ugly fashion of the first quarter of Thursday's game against the Colts. With only two games remaining, he will soon be placed on injured reserve. Decent when he was managed and manipulated by coach Gary Kubiak in 2016, Siemian looked like one of the worst quarterbacks in the league this season. Perhaps he will keep his roster spot for 2018, but it's been pretty clearly determined he's not the Broncos' quarterback of the future.
Dec 14 - 10:48 PM

Cardinals placed RB Adrian Peterson on injured reserve with a neck injury, ending his season.

It's an inglorious end to Peterson's age-32 campaign. Peterson had missed the past two weeks, and with only three games remaining, the Cardinals decided not to hold his 53-man roster spot any longer. The exact nature of Peterson's injury is unknown. Necks are one of the trickiest areas for football players. A complete dud in New Orleans, Peterson was somewhat revived in Arizona, though he averaged just 3.47 yards per carry behind the Cardinals' injury-ruined offensive line. Peterson turns 33 in March. He's near the end, but we probably haven't seen the end of AD.
Dec 14 - 10:34 PM

Colts TE Brandon Williams was forced from Thursday's game against the Broncos with a head injury.

Blocking on a punt, Williams knocked helmets with Deiontrez Mount and appeared to immediately go unconscious. Mount realized something was amiss, and eased off before finishing the hit. It's scary because Williams was already forced to give up football once because of a pre-existing spinal condition. He has been sent to the hospital.
Dec 14 - 9:13 PM

JuJu Smith-Schuster was added to the Steelers' injury report on Thursday, getting in a limited session with a hamstring issue.

Smith-Schuster spent the second half of November battling hamstring problems. He missed Week 12. Mid-week additions are never good news, but his Friday status will be key. For now, we would operate under the assumption that JuJu Smith-Schuster will be out there against the Patriots, but his status obviously cannot be taken for granted.
Dec 14 - 4:38 PM

DeAndre Hopkins (toe) didn't practice on Thursday.

Hopkins wasn't listed on Wednesday's practice report, so this must be a new injury. It's too early to get a gauge on Hopkins' status, but if he were to sit against the Jaguars, it would make a brutal matchup even worse for fill-in quarterback T.J. Yates. Nuk leads the NFL with 11 touchdowns this year and ranks second in both catches (88) and receiving yards (1,233) behind Antonio Brown. We'd suspect Hopkins plays.
