Jimmy Graham (ankle) was held out of Wednesday's practice.

Profootballtalk.com reported Tuesday that Graham is expected to play against the Bucs, but it's a bad sign he couldn't suit up today coming off the Saints' bye week. However, interim coach Aaron Kromer said Graham "(looked) good" doing work on the side. Graham will most likely give it a go against Tampa, but owners would be wise to hold onto their TE2 for at least a few more days.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon's meniscus injury required a full repair, and he will be out for the season.

Dixon was expected to need only a "trim," but a full repair was required upon closer inspection. It's a brutal blow for the 2016 fourth-rounder, who had a golden path to playing time once he returned from his four-game suspension in Week 5. It leaves the Ravens in a lurch, with only pass-catcher Danny Woodhead and fourth-year plodder Terrance West available as legitimate options. We suppose Buck Allen could also get another look. The Ravens could be forced to dip into the wafer-thin free agent market, which is currently "led" by Rashad Jennings and DeAngelo Williams. Still only 23, Dixon is worth stashing in Dynasty leagues, but he's now little more than a 50-50 proposition. Woodhead, who could seize goal-line work, is the preferred Ravens own, even in standard leagues.

Contract-year WR Allen Robinson says he's had extension talks with the Jaguars.

With Brandon Linder locked up, the Jags can turn their attention to their No. 1 receiver. It's an awkward time for Robinson, who is coming off a down season, but he's reasoning he still has plenty of leverage as a 24-year-old wideout (in August) just two years removed from a 1,400-yard season. If a deal doesn't get done this summer, the franchise tag looms for 2018. In a disaster scenario, A-Rob plays out his rookie deal and has another disappointing campaign, leaving him in Alshon Jeffery-esque limbo.

Jaguars signed G/C Brandon Linder to a five-year, $51.7 million extension through 2022.

It's one of the richest deals ever for a center. It includes $24 million guaranteed. It's actually been unclear if Linder would play center or guard in 2017, but the tea leaves have been suggesting the pivot, where Linder excelled in 2016. Linder played right guard in 2014-15. The No. 93 overall pick of the 2014 draft had been heading into the final year of his rookie deal.

Dolphins placed LB Koa Misi on injured reserve with a neck injury, ending his season.

Just Tuesday, coach Adam Gase said he was "confident" Misi would "play football again," but it won't be for the Dolphins in 2017. If Misi does get healthy, he would have to be released with an injury settlement. Now 30, Misi played just three games last season before undergoing surgery. Things aren't looking bright for his NFL future. The Dolphins' top three linebackers are Kiko Alonso, Lawrence Timmons and second-rounder Raekwon McMillan.

Saints placed WLB Dannell Ellerbe on injured reserve with a foot injury, ending his season.

Per NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Ellerbe will released with an injury settlement once he's healthy. He hopes to be cleared in three weeks. Headed into his age-32 campaign, Ellerbe's recent career has been wrecked by injury. He's made just 16 appearances since 2013. His phone isn't going to be ringing off the hook, despite what his agent is telling some media members.

Cowboys signed RT La'El Collins to a two-year, $15.4 million extension through 2019.

Collins was headed for restricted free agency next season. The new deal is a win-win. For Collins, it gets him up to the first-round money he should have gotten in 2015. For Dallas, it buys out a year of free agency. Collins can still hit the market when he's 27. Replacing Doug Free at right tackle, Collins was limited to three games by injury last season, but showed promise as a rookie in 2015.

Speaking Tuesday, Panthers coach Ron Rivera said Kelvin Benjamin is "where he needs to be" weight-wise.

The Panthers put Benjamin on blast during the offseason, but he got the message. Despite the weight issues and a disappointing 2016, Benjamin is still the Panthers' No. 1 receiver. If he can avoid Eddie Lacy status, he's a touchdown scorer who should produce as a WR2/3.

Michael Vick is working as a coaching intern for the Chiefs this summer.

Vick said in June that he wanted to get into coaching, and his former coach Andy Reid is giving him his first opportunity. Vick is a bright football mind who loves to compete, but his controversial past could make him a tough sell as a coach.

Texans placed LT Duane Brown on the reserve/did not report list.

It means Brown is subject to $40,000 per day in fines. Brown is due $9.4 million heading into his age-32 season, though none of it is guaranteed. This year probably isn't the concern for Brown, who is signed through 2018. He's almost certainly looking for some guaranteed dough heading into next season.

Ex-Browns and Bengals WR Andrew Hawkins has told the Patriots he's retiring.

He's going to pursue a Ph.D. in economics. The longtime Ohio slot man was on the outside looking in of the Patriots' 53-man roster, as the team's top-five receivers were already set. Often unheralded, Hawkins' effectiveness had been on the wane. He turned 30 in March 2016. A 2008 UDFA, Hawkins hangs up his cleats with 209 receptions, all of which came from 2011-16.

All charges stemming from ex-Cowboys WR/KR Lucky Whitehead's petty larceny case have been dropped.

This is a bad look for the Cowboys, who instantly cut Whitehead when news of the (false) accusation broke. The warrant for Whitehead's arrest was "rescinded" when Virginia police discovered they "had the wrong guy." Whitehead was a largely-ineffective gadget player/special teamer, anyway, but you can be sure the media is going to let the Cowboys have it, particularly in light of their unflinching stance that Ezekiel Elliott is innocent of multiple far-more-sinister alleged crimes.
