Citing a person with knowledge of the situation, Reuben Frank of CSN Philly reports Michael Vick has not been benched for rookie Nick Foles, and Vick remains the Eagles' starting quarterback "as of now."

Frank did add enough caution to his report that he's allowing for an internal change of heart from the Eagles' organization. Updating previous items, coach Andy Reid's Monday press conference has been canceled due to Hurricane Sandy, so we won't be getting concrete clarification today. Consider Vick the Eagles' starter until we hear otherwise from Big Red himself. The Eagles face the Saints at the Superdome on Monday Night Football in Week 9.

Jeremy Maclin caught 4-of-7 targets for 35 yards in the Chiefs' Week 3 win over the Jets.

Maclin and the entire passing game was allowed to rest on their laurels with the Jets spinning their wheels in the second half, but Maclin missed a couple opportunities before the break to have a much bigger game. He had a long pass down the right sideline bounce off his shoulder pads, and he failed to get his head around on another long pass down the seam on the next play. Either play would have made his line look a lot better. Despite the mediocre day, Maclin is as solid a WR2 as there is in the game. He should be starting in most leagues against the Steelers next Sunday night.

Redskins CB Bashaud Breeland has a high right ankle sprain.

Breeland left Sunday's win over the Giants in the first few minutes and did not return. High ankle sprains tend to be multi-week injuries. The Redskins are very thin at cornerback and figure to now turn to third-round rookie Kendall Fuller in their nickel package alongside Josh Norman and Dashaun Phillips.

Melvin Gordon rushed 16 times for 35 yards and one touchdown in the Chargers' 26-22, Week 3 loss to the Colts, adding four catches for 43 yards on seven targets.

In a dream spot against a horrific Colts defense, Gordon was a mild disappointment, though he was able to save his fantasy day with a one-yard touchdown plunge. The Colts had been eviscerated by opposing running backs Weeks 1 and 2, but held Gordon to just 2.2 YPC. Gordon played a ton on passing downs, but Philip Rivers threw one ball at his feet and overshot him on what should have been a walk-in 16-yard touchdown on a screen pass. Gordon will be in an elite spot once again Week 4 when San Diego hosts the Saints on a short week.

MMQB's Albert Breer reports the Seahawks believe Russell Wilson has a sprained MCL in his left knee.

It's perhaps more notable that both coach Pete Carroll and Wilson himself expressed confidence after Sunday's win that Wilson will be able to play in Week 4 against the Jets. NBC's Mike Florio reported Wilson will undergo an MRI on Sunday night to determine the full extent of the damage. Wilson insisted he "doesn't think the knee injury is as serious as it looked." Wilson is also dealing with a high ankle sprain on his right leg.

Tyler Lockett was not targeted in the Seahawks' Week 3 win over San Francisco.

Lockett entered this game listed as questionable with a knee injury, but his health was not an issue. He returned a punt 62 yards and nearly took it to the house, but simply wasn't a big part of the passing game on a day where Doug Baldwin (8-164-1) and Jimmy Graham (6-100-1) did the heavy lifting. Lockett will continue to be a volatile fantasy option in the Seahawks' offense. His yardage totals through three games are 17, 99, and 0.

T.Y. Hilton caught 8-of-11 targets for 174 yards and one touchdown in the Colts' 26-22, Week 3 win over the Chargers.

Hilton did battle against Chargers rising star CB Jason Verrett for much of the day, but got the better of him when all was said and done. Hilton made a slick grab deep down the sideline with Verrett draped on him in the third quarter, and then accounted for the game-winning 63-yard score late in the fourth quarter, running right by the defense down the middle. The knee "injury" that had Hilton listed questionable proved to be a non-issue. Hilton will be a WR1/2 next week when the Colts travel to London to face the Jaguars.

Eric Decker caught 1-of-6 targets for 31 yards in the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Chiefs.

And with this horrendous performance by the Jets offense, Decker’s streak of 18 consecutive games with 80 yards or a touchdown is snapped. Decker had just one target in the first half, and he did not get his first catch until early in the fourth quarter. Decker was targeted in the end zone in the second half, but Eric Berry went up high to break up the pass. Ryan Fitzpatrick was terrible Sunday, and it will not get any easier with the Seahawks coming to town next week. Still, Decker will be a good bet to start a new streak in that game.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed after Sunday's win that Russell Wilson has a sprained knee.

The left leg injury originally appeared to be to Wilson's ankle, but it turned out to be to Wilson's knee, on which a brace was placed by trainers on the sideline. The fact that Wilson kept his helmet on and was lobbying to reenter on Sunday suggests he fully intends to play in Week 4 against the Jets. "Most likely he's going to be fine," coach Pete Carroll conceded. "Because that's just how he operates." On the off chance Wilson can't get clearance, UDFA Trevone Boykin would make the start.
Sep 25 - 7:35 PM

Jimmy Graham caught 6-of-9 targets for 100 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' Week 3 win over the 49ers.

Graham and Christine Michael were monsters in this one, giving Seattle a 37-3 lead before the 49ers chipped away in garbage time. Coming off a ruptured patellar tendon, Graham looked fully back to form by skying to make contested catches in the open field and appearing in excellent shape physically. Graham needs to be picked up in all fantasy leagues ahead of a Week 4 date with the Jets. He is back to being a full-time player in Seattle's offense.
Sep 25 - 7:30 PM

Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 20-of-44 passes for 188 yards, zero touchdowns, and SIX interceptions in the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Chiefs.

It is the most interceptions in a game since Ty Detmer tossed seven in 2001. Needless to say, Fitzpatrick was dreadful Sunday. His stared down his targets, overthrew receivers, and tried to force the ball into tight windows when the offense was not working late in the game. He was intercepted thrice in the end zone, threw two passes that should have been picked in the three plays before his fourth interception, and effectively ended the game with a pick-six late in the fourth quarter. The Jets’ final five drives all ended with interceptions. Fitz has now sandwiched a poor and a career-ending performance around a stellar game in Buffalo. The ups and downs should continue all year, but it will likely be all down next week against the Seahawks. He can be safely sat in that contest.
Sep 25 - 7:25 PM

Carlos Hyde rushed 21 times for 103 yards and two touchdowns and caught his lone target for two yards in the 49ers' Week 3 loss to Seattle.

Even though the 49ers were getting pasted 37-3, Chip Kelly elected to pad his team's rushing stats by continuing to run the ball against Seattle's prevent defense. Hyde's two touchdowns made the score 37-10, then 37-17, and his long gain of 34 also occurred in fourth-quarter garbage time. Fantasy owners will obviously take the stats, but all in all this was not a promising performance from the 49ers' running game. They do get a much more favorable matchup in Week 4 against the Cowboys.
