Jaguars waived QB John Parker Wilson.

Wilson was on the roster for one week while Blaine Gabbert nursed a labral tear in his non-throwing shoulder. The Jaguars will move forward with two QBs.

The Tuscaloosa District Attorney's office has dropped a marijuana possession charge against 49ers MLB Reuben Foster.

Foster faced a misdemeanor charge following his arrest in January, but had his case dismissed Friday after competing a diversion course. He also had his domestic violence case thrown out earlier this week, though he's not out of the woods just yet. Foster is still due in court on June 6, where he'll face a misdemeanor charge for possession of a weapon. The league will also look at Foster's marijuana case to determine whether he violated the NFL's substance abuse policy, which could lead to a suspension. The 24-year-old was excellent when healthy last year, earning PFF's No. 4 grade out of 52 qualifiers at inside linebacker.

Corey Clement wants "more touches, more carries, more catches out of the backfield this year."

Clement was a great find as an UDFA by GM Howie Roseman last year, and he had arguably the biggest game of the season in the Super Bowl win over the Patriots. Clement averaged just 4.2 carries per game as a rookie and was featured more in the pass game. It's unclear how the Eagles will split up work in 2018, especially with the return of Darren Sproles, but this is a situation to watch in the summer. Clement figures to be the No. 2 behind Jay Ajayi.

Speaking after Thursday's OTA session, Joe Flacco talked up new WR Michael Crabtree, saying, "(He’s) the guy."

"He’s got a little different way that he runs the routes," Flacco said of Crabtree. "He’s really crafty with it, and he knows when to break away from guys and how to get open." Crabtree signed a three-year, $21 million deal in Baltimore following his release from the Raiders and is obviously the clear No. 1 for Flacco, who has always had a fascination with veteran targets picked up off the scrap heap. Crabtree should flirt with 120-130 targets if he can stay healthy.

The New Orleans Advocate believes second-year UDFA Taysom Hill could be a legitimate contender for the Saints' No. 2 quarterback job.

Hill came out of BYU as an elderly (now 27) undrafted free agent last year. He was claimed off waivers from the Packers after catching the Saints' eye on film. He made a few splash plays on special teams near the end of the season and was a frequent topic of conversation between FOX's Joe Buck and Troy Aikman during a December broadcast. The duo was apparently taken aback by glowing comments coach Sean Payton made about the rookie. It's pad-less practices, but Hill has been drawing strong reviews for his work in OTAs, particularly his speed at the quarterback position. Only Tom Savage and J.T. Barrett stand between Hill and backup duties.

NFL.com's Tom Pelissero reports the Steelers have "no expectation" that Le'Veon Bell will report before he did last season, which was Sept. 1.

Under no obligation to report since he hasn't signed his franchise tag, Bell can show up at his leisure. The sides have until July 16 to reach a long-term agreement. It's not looking likely. In the event no deal is reached, Bell will almost certainly skip the entire preseason and report close to Week 1.

Packers signed TE Marcedes Lewis, formerly of the Jaguars.

The longtime — 12 years — Jaguar will join Jimmy Graham as a blocking complement. As evidenced by his five touchdowns last season, 34-year-old Lewis also offers a strong pair of hands in the red zone. Lewis should catch some touchdown passes from Aaron Rodgers but won't be a fantasy option in 2018. It's possible Lewis' presence ends up making Lance Kendricks expendable.

Yahoo Sports reports that, using a "Washington consulting firm," the NFL polled fans last summer on whether free agent Colin Kaepernick should be signed.

Per reporter Charles Robinson, the poll also included questions on domestic violence, gambling, player protests and player safety. Kap was reportedly the "only player singled out in the research for specific opinions." That could create headaches for the league in Kap's collusion lawsuit.

The Seahawks expect FS Earl Thomas to report for mandatory minicamp.

Upset with his contract situation — and perhaps the fact he wasn't traded this offseason — Thomas is skipping voluntary workouts. The Seahawks worked hard to deal Thomas but were unwilling to unload him for pennies on the dollar. It's possible something is still worked out between now and Week 1, but Thomas should spend 2018 in Seattle.

Reuben Foster reported to 49ers OTAs on Thursday.

Foster reported one day after he had domestic violence charges dismissed, and a weapons felony reduced to a misdemeanor. At one point, Foster's NFL career appeared in peril. Now, he is unlikely to face any league discipline.

Contradicting his public statement, Terrance Williams told police that Kendall Wright, whom Williams played with at Baylor, was the driver for his weekend car accident, and that Williams was not in the car.

Williams' initial comments to police basically contradicted everything he ended up saying in his public statement on Sunday. Whatever happened, Wright does not currently appear to be in any sort of trouble with the law. Williams is facing charges of public intoxication and leaving the scene of an accident. His entire story can be found at the link below.

Bucs signed No. 12 overall pick DT Vita Vea to a four-year contract.

The deal includes a fifth-year team option for 2022. In three years at Washington, Vea tallied 15 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks. Vea draws Haloti Ngata comparisons for his gargantuan size and powerful bull rush, but his get off is much less explosive, and Vea played only 62% of UW's 2017 defensive snaps. Still, Vea’s tape shows light feet for a big man, position flexibility, and an ability to create space for linebackers behind him to run free.
