Jonathan Stewart rushed just 10 times for 51 yards and added one reception for six yards versus the Redskins in Week 9.

Coach Ron Rivera said he wanted to feed Stewart more consistently so he could better develop a hot hand. He lied. Stewart broke off runs of 11, 17, and 21 yards on his first five carries, but the Panthers liberally sprinkled in DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert in a committee attack. After meeting with the tailbacks this week, FOX analyst Daryl Johnston was under the impression that the timeshare would be back in effect. Barring statements from Rivera to the contrary, Stewart won't have a feature back's workload in Week 10 versus the Broncos.

C.J. Prosise (ankle) is active for Week 7 against the Giants.

Prosise is expected to be on a snap count after missing the past two games with an ankle injury. Most of his work will come on passing downs. CB Jeremy Lane, OT Isaiah Battle, LG Luke Joeckel, OG Jordan Roos, DT Garrison Smith and S Tedric Thompson round out Seattle's inactives for Week 7.

Giants declared WR Sterling Shepard, LB Jonathan Casillas, LB Calvin Munson, RB Paul Perkins, C Weston Richburg, DE Olivier Vernon and QB Davis Webb inactive for Week 7 against the Seahawks.

It's a surprise after NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported earlier that Shepard was good to go. The second-year receiver never came out for warmups and will sit for the second week in a row. The Giants have a bye coming up, which may have prompted their decision to rest Shepard another week. Roger Lewis and Tavarres King will operate as the Giants' top wideouts against a loaded Seahawks secondary in Week 7.

Jay Cutler left Sunday's Week 7 game against the Jets with a chest injury and is questionable to return.

Cutler bowed out after taking a huge hit from Jordan Jenkins early in the third quarter. He attempted a pass on the sideline after coming out but winced as he threw and was quickly escorted to the locker room. Cutler completed 12-of-16 passes for 138 yards with two touchdowns and one interception before exiting. Veteran backup Matt Moore has taken the reigns at quarterback.

Keenan Allen (shoulder) is active for Week 7 against the Broncos.

Allen hurt his shoulder Thursday and did not practice Friday, so he is likely less than 100 percent. Still, he has seen at least nine targets in every game and has a history of scoring touchdowns against the Broncos. He is a top-30 option even in the bad matchup. The Chargers declared DL Corey Liuget (back), RT Joe Barksdale (foot), Dontrelle Inman, Branden Oliver, Cardale Jones, OT Tyler Marz, and TE Sean Culkin inactive for Week 7.
Oct 22 - 3:02 PM

Melvin Gordon (shoulder) is active for Week 7 against the Broncos.

This was always expected despite his limited practice participation this week. Gordon has averaged almost 26 touches a game in his last three against the Broncos. He is a solid RB1.
Oct 22 - 3:01 PM

Carson Palmer exited Week 7 against the Rams with a left hand or wrist injury.

Palmer took a hit on his second-quarter interception and appeared to be nursing something with his left arm after the hit. The Rams quickly scored a touchdown, and Drew Stanton came into the game as Palmer jogged to the locker room. Before leaving, Palmer was 10-of-18 for 122 yards and the pick.
Oct 22 - 2:21 PM

Mike Wallace (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of Week 7.

He finished with one catch for nine yards. Wallace tried pleading his case with Ravens coaches and medical staff to be allowed to return, but they did not relent. The Ravens are devastatingly short handed at wide receiver.

Jaguars LT Cam Robinson was carted off with an ankle injury in Week 7 against the Colts.

Robinson went down on the opening drive of the game. He's listed as questionable to return, but this looks like a serious injury. Josh Wells replaced Robinson.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Andrew Luck (shoulder) will return if he's healthy this season, regardless of the Colts' record.

The Colts are giving somewhat mixed signals as Jacoby Brissett has been told to prepare as if he'll be the starter for the rest of the season, though Rapoport said it's a "fact" that Luck will return if healthy. Per Rapsheet, Luck will not practice this week following his latest setback and a late November return is probably his best case scenario. The Colts will continue to hold off on placing Luck on season-ending I.R., but his lack of tangible progress may eventually force their hand.
Oct 22 - 12:26 PM

Ravens DT Brandon Williams is active for Week 7 against the Vikings.

Williams is a difference-making run defender on the inside, so this is a blow to Vikings interior runner Latavius Murray's outlook. If the Vikings are smart, they will use Jerick McKinnon even more than usual this week, looking to attack the edges of Baltimore's defense as opposed to the interior.
Oct 22 - 11:52 AM

Dolphins declared WR DeVante Parker, LB Stephone Anthony, G Isaac Asiata, CB Byron Maxwell, S Maurice Smith, DT Vincent Taylor and OT Sam Young inactive for Week 7 against the Jets.

Parker is still nursing a sprained ankle he suffered against Tennessee in Week 5. Slot receiver Jarvis Landry should see a massive workload in Parker's absence. Andre Branch (knee), Xavien Howard (ankle) and Mike Pouncey (concussion) are all active for the Fins.
