Raiders coach Dennis Allen labeled Darrius Heyward-Bey (hamstring, questionable) a game-time decision for Week 11.

The feeling among Raiders beat writers seems to be that Heyward-Bey won't play against the Saints, although the coaching staff isn't done holding out hope. DHB injured his right hamstring in Wednesday's practice. He was unable to participate in Thursday and Friday's sessions. We'd have a very hard time counting on Heyward-Bey in Week 11 fantasy lineups. His backup is Derek Hagan.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians announced Friday that Drew Stanton will start at quarterback against the 49ers.

Sep 19 - 3:36 PM

Coach Lovie Smith stated Friday that Josh McCown remains the Buccaneers' starting quarterback when healthy.

Shades of Rex Grossman. "Josh is our starter," Smith insisted. "We're looking at one game right now. It would be simple if Josh was the only guy who played bad. It seems like the only guy I'm asked about, 'is Josh your starter?' You can ask that about quite a few people, starting with me. Am I still the head coach based on that effort? But a little more goes into it than that." McCown suffered a sprained right (throwing) thumb in Thursday night's blowout loss to Atlanta. The Buccaneers aren't ready to hand the reins to Mike Glennon just yet.

Arian Foster (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 3 against the Giants.

Foster was limited in practice all week. Although Foster's availability is not known to be in danger against the G-Men, this is a reminder of his durability woes. He leads the NFL in carries through two games. Foster also has a scary injury history when it comes to hamstrings. It's worth noting Alfred Blue ran ahead of Jonathan Grimes in Week 2, and saw 11 carries to Grimes' three.
Sep 19 - 3:03 PM

Keenan Allen (groin) is listed as questionable for Week 3 at Buffalo after practicing on a limited basis Friday.

He was limited in both Thursday and Friday's practices. The fact that Allen did bounce back to get in some reps Friday should bode well, and we'll know his Week 3 availability early on Sunday because the Chargers trek to Buffalo for a 1PM ET game. If Allen does play, he'll be a borderline WR1 in fantasy.
Sep 19 - 2:50 PM

Jamaal Charles (ankle, questionable) was limited in Chiefs practice Friday.

"He did OK," coach Andy Reid said after the workout. "He looked a little sore, but he did OK." Charles is shaping up as a game-time decision in Sunday's afternoon tilt with the Dolphins. Considering the game's late start and Charles' inability to practice fully, he won't be a recommended Week 3 FanDuel option.
Sep 19 - 2:47 PM

A.J. Green (toe) is officially listed as probable for Week 3 against the Titans.

Green was upgraded to full participation at Friday's practice after experiencing no setbacks from Thursday's limited session. He's already said that he plans to play Sunday. We conservatively have Green as our No. 10 receiver for Week 3, but he gets a boost with Titans top CB Jason McCourty dinged up.
Sep 19 - 2:06 PM

Eric Decker (hamstring) remained sidelined at Jets practice Friday.

Coach Rex Ryan remains confident Decker will be available Monday night against the Bears, and says Decker doesn't have to practice to play. With few pass-game alternates outside of Jeremy Kerley in the Jets-Bears game to hold in case Decker misses, owners with other WR3 options would be wise to plug them in over Decker. It'd be nice to see Decker practice Saturday afternoon.
Sep 19 - 1:55 PM

DeAngelo Williams (thigh) is officially listed as questionable for Week 3 against the Steelers.

Coach Ron Rivera once again said he expects to have Williams for Sunday Night Football. He has some FLEX appeal in a plus matchup. The concern with Williams is he doesn't score touchdowns. Owners should be aiming higher.
Sep 19 - 1:04 PM

Cecil Shorts (hamstring) is probable for Week 3 against the Colts.

Allen Hurns (ankle) is also listed as probable. Both players practiced in full Friday. With Marqise Lee (hamstring) out, look for Shorts and Hurns to open as the starters. Allen Robinson will be serve as the No. 3 receiver. With Chad Henne still under center, it's hard to trust any of these guys as more than WR4/5 plays. For Shorts' sake, hopefully he can avoid setbacks with his balky hamstring.
Sep 19 - 12:46 PM

DeSean Jackson (shoulder) is questionable for Week 3 against the Eagles.

Jackson got in a limited practice session Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday. Coach Jay Gruden called it a "step in the right direction" for Jackson, and they'll look at hime again on Saturday. Jackson has already said he doesn't plan on missing his return to Philadelphia. But the Redskins aren't going to jeopardize his long-term health by sending him out there. We tentatively expect Jackson to play. He's our No. 32 receiver play this week as a boom-or-bust WR3.
Sep 19 - 12:37 PM

Cardinals placed OLB John Abraham on injured reserve with a concussion, ending his season.

Abraham's Week 1 concussion proved to be too much to overcome for the 36-year-old. After suffering the injury, Abraham went home to contemplate his future. He returned to the team this week, but couldn't pass the concussion protocol. The NFL's active sack leader with 133.5 of them, Abraham's career may be over. The Cardinals are in dire need of edge-rush help. They'll roll with some combo of Matt Shaughnessy, Sam Acho, Thomas Keiser, and Victor Butler.
