Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt expects LE Calais Campbell (calf) back for Week 13 against the Jets.

Campbell said he'd be back for Week 12, so take this with a minor grain of salt. However, coaches are usually more realistic about injuries than players. The two games Campbell has missed since the Week 10 bye are one more than he missed through his first four NFL seasons. His return is bad news for Mark Sanchez.

Nick Foles underwent "precautionary" X-rays on his ribs following Sunday's NFC Championship game win.

Per ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, Foles' injury "doesn't appear serious," and the X-rays truly appear precautionary. Foles likely experienced routine soreness following Sunday's stunning blowout, although it wasn't for a lack of pass protection. The Eagles held the Vikings' vaunted pass rush to just five QB hits and one sack in the 38-7 rout. "I'm good, I'm good," Foles assured after the tests.

Adam Thielen caught 3-of-9 targets for 28 yards in the Vikings' NFC Championship game loss to the Eagles.

Thielen is believed to have played this game with transverse process fractures in his back, helping to explain his ineffectiveness. It was a whimpering end to a terrific campaign for Thielen, who caught five-plus passes in 13-of-16 regular season games en route to a stellar 91/1,276/14.0/4 stat line. Although Thielen is sometimes described by the public and/or TV announcers as "not that fast," he ran 4.45 coming out of college and is averaging over 14 yards per catch in the pros. Forever underrated, 27-year-old Thielen has a bright future as a consistent WR2 in fantasy leagues.

Jerick McKinnon rushed 10 times for 40 yards and caught 11-of-12 targets for 86 yards in the Vikings' NFC Championship game loss to the Eagles.

As the Vikings fell out of this game early, McKinnon wound up with more volume than usual in catch-up mode, severely out-snapping interior grinder Latavius Murray. McKinnon’s 2017 emergence as a playmaking RBBC member helped keep Minnesota’s running game afloat following Dalvin Cook’s ACL tear, as McKinnon set career highs in rushing yards (570) and all receiving categories (51/421/8.3/2) in a timeshare with Murray. Now up for free agency, McKinnon should be a relatively hot commodity due to his all-purpose skill set. He turns 26 in May.

Case Keenum completed 28-of-48 passes for 271 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the Vikings' NFC title game loss to Philadelphia.

Keenum opened the scoring with a first-drive 25-yard touchdown strike to Kyle Rudolph, which was of course followed by 38 unanswered Eagles points. When the game was still in doubt, Keenum’s biggest mistakes came on a first-quarter 50-yard pick six caused by DE Chris Long’s pass rush and a second-quarter lost fumble to set up Alshon Jeffery’s first TD. Keenum was still a steady hand this season, logging a 22:7 TD-to-INT ratio and completing 67.6% of his throws, assisted by elite receiver play and a high-percentage Pat Shurmur-coordinated offense. Shurmur is expected to be the next coach of the Giants, and 30-year-old Keenum is up for free agency. Despite his strong 2017, we’re not buying reports Keenum will get the franchise tag. With Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater’s deals also up, GM Rick Spielman has many tough decisions ahead.

Zach Ertz caught 8-of-8 targets for 93 yards in the Eagles' NFC Championship game win over the Vikings.

Nick Foles went a perfect 13-of-13 for 178 yards and two touchdowns when targeting Ertz or Alshon Jeffery. Via masterful scheming and superb route running, Ertz got shockingly wide open repeatedly against a normally impenetrable Vikings back end. He surprisingly but specifically made Vikings SS Harrison Smith look silly multiple times. Ertz will be one of the keys to Philadelphia's chances of knocking off New England in Super Bowl 52.
Jan 21 - 10:00 PM

Jay Ajayi rushed 18 times for 73 yards and caught 3-of-3 targets for 26 yards in the Eagles' NFC Championship win over the Vikings.

Ajayi's 18 touches in last week's Divisional Round were his most as an Eagle to that point. He topped that mark with 21 in Sunday's victory, significantly out-touching LeGarrette Blount (6) and Corey Clement (3). Although he continues to lose scoring-position work to Blount, Ajayi should remain the focal point of Philly's offense in the Super Bowl against a Patriots defense that was damaged by all-purpose backs throughout the regular season.
Jan 21 - 9:47 PM

Alshon Jeffery caught 5-of-5 targets for 85 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' NFC title game win over the Vikings.

With Xavier Rhodes temporarily sidelined by a toe injury, Jeffery whipped 39-year-old CB Terence Newman for a 53-yard touchdown bomb late in the second quarter, giving the Eagles a 21-7 lead. Jeffery scored again early in the fourth, skying over Trae Waynes when Minnesota’s zone coverage forced Rhodes away from Alshon. In a picture-perfect game by Nick Foles, Jeffery was his most-perfect target recipient. Expect Jeffery to draw primary coverage from Stephon Gilmore in the Super Bowl.
Jan 21 - 9:43 PM

Nick Foles completed 26-of-33 passes for 352 yards and three touchdowns in the Eagles' shocking, 38-7 blowout win over the Vikings in Sunday's NFC Championship game.

Foles went just 2-of-15 on throws attempted 20-plus yards downfield this season. He completed four 20-plus-yard throws in Sunday’s game alone, beginning with a 53-yard touchdown to a wide-open Alshon Jeffery in the second quarter and capped by a 41-yard flea-flicker score to Torrey Smith in the third frame. Foles’ third TD went to Jeffery in the red zone early in the fourth. It was a stunning air-raid performance against the NFC’s premier pass defense. The Eagles will likely need something similar from Foles – in addition to defensive dominance – in order to upset the Patriots in the Super Bowl. New England is expected to open as a five- to six-point favorite.
Jan 21 - 9:41 PM

Tom Brady completed 26-of-38 passes for 290 yards and two touchdowns in the Patriots' 24-20, AFC Championship Game win over the Jaguars.

Beset by a throwing hand injury, ongoing palace intrigue in New England, and the first half loss of Rob Gronkowski to a concussion, Brady and the Pats survived an early onslaught from the Jags' elite defense to rally from a 14-3 deficit and reach the eighth Super Bowl of the Bill Belichick era. Although occasionally skittish in the pocket, Brady mostly stood tall after the break, finding Danny Amendola for the game-winning touchdown with a beautiful throw to the back of the end zone with 2:48 remaining. Neither his hand nor age were an issue. Whoever New England faces in Super Bowl LII will present a defensive challenge just one step down from the Jags' league-best unit.
Jan 21 - 6:08 PM

Rob Gronkowski (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of the AFC Championship Game.

The second documented concussion of Gronk's pro career could not have come at a worse time for the Patriots. Gronk had just one catch for 21 yards before going down late in the first half.
Jan 21 - 5:18 PM

Rex Burkhead (knee) is active for the AFC Championship Game.

Considering this is his first game action since Week 15 and Dion Lewis has established himself as the clear lead back during that time, it is difficult to predict how much action Burkhead will see in this game. He was dominating red-zone snaps before his injury, however, and it would not be surprising to see him nab a touchdown or two in this matchup. That makes him worth a look in DFS.
