Although Jacoby Jones (ankle) missed his third straight practice on Friday, he's listed as probable for Week 13.

Apparently Jones really needed some rest. If you've been starting him in leagues with return yardage, there's apparently no reason not to trot him out against the Steelers.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Andre Johnson has told the Texans "he wants to play for another team."

Rapoport added four teams have expressed interest in the veteran wide receiver, but Houston is resisting the move. It is unsurprising Johnson wants a trade. Entering his age-33 season, Johnson does not have time to wait through yet another rebuilding job. He is also unhappy the Texans refused a deal that would have paid him his $1 million workout bonus despite the fact that he missed several sessions. Even with the animosity, it is not a certainty Johnson leaves Houston. Rapoport believes the Texans could remedy the situation by paying Johnson his $1 million or promising him a roster spot in 2015. This has the look of a saga that could drag into camp.

Free agent Jermichael Finley (neck) says he still "very much wants to return to the Packers."

"This is the best I've felt in this entire crazy process," Finley said. "I'm working as hard as I can to get back to Packer Nation." Finley continues to work out in hopes of gaining medical clearance. Recent reports suggest the Packers haven't closed the door on a reunion. Our best guess is they want to see what they have at tight end in training camp before taking a flier on an injury risk like Finley.

Aaron Dobson (foot surgery) confirms he's "optimistic" he'll be ready for training camp.

Dobson sat out the Patriots' entire offseason program, but is finally progressing. "It’s doing better, man," Dobson said Tuesday. "It’s getting better every day. Every week it’s getting better, so we’re just going to see where it’s at by the time camp starts." This being the Patriots, the only real updates we're going to get on Dobson is whether or not he's practicing, but his foot doesn't appear to be a long-term question mark.

Dennis Pitta is expected to be used all over the field in new OC Gary Kubiak's system.

"I have done a lot of different things in this offense already," Pitta said during minicamp. "I would assume that would continue to increase. ... Hopefully, I can get in a position where I can play a variety of positions." Per reporter Aaron Wilson, Pitta will occasionally split out as an extra receiver, and could even take snaps out of the backfield. A two-tight end maestro, Kubiak can be trusted to get Pitta oodles of targets despite the presence of Owen Daniels. Pitta is in strong position to bounce back from his lost 2013.

Kyle Rudolph has spent "a lot of time" this offseason watching game tape of Jordan Cameron, who broke out last year under new Vikings OC Norv Turner.

Rudolph has also watched cutups of Jay Novacek, Turner's tight end with the Cowboys. Turner will run the same scheme in Minnesota. "So much of it is the exact same thing (Turner)'s been running for 20 years," noted Rudolph. "It's the same plays." Randy McMichael and Antonio Gates also enjoyed career-best years on Norv's watch. Rudolph could be a bargain at his ninth-round ADP.

A picture of Johnny Manziel rolling a 20-dollar bill in the bathroom of a Las Vegas club has surfaced.

There are no indications why Manziel was rolling the bill, and there were not any signs of illegal substances visible in the photo. That said, this is a bad look for a player the Browns instructed to "tone it down" barely a week ago. Manziel has given his critics plenty of ammunition this offseason, but he could shut everyone up by winning his battle with Brian Hoyer in camp and football games this fall.

ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports the Packers would like to sign contract-year WR Jordy Nelson to an extension "sooner rather than later."

The Packers want to extend Nelson before opening talks with Randall Cobb. Nelson, 29, is due $2.55 million in the final year of his contract. He's been one of the top receivers in the league over the last three seasons and could command $10 million annually. Green Bay's $13.64 million in cap space could allow the sides to reach a deal prior to training camp. Nelson is 29 years old, but an extension would solidify his Dynasty value by keeping him with Aaron Rodgers.

According to the Patriots' website, "all signs point toward" Rob Gronkowski (knee) being ready to go in Week 1.

Gronkowski was limited to individual work at OTAs and has been rehabbing at the Patriots' facility the last two weeks. He's expected to open training camp on the PUP list, but there continues to be optimism on his Opening Day outlook. We'll know more on Gronk's status when camp opens in late July. Gronkowski has played in just 18 games the last two seasons due to injuries, but when healthy is a true fantasy dominator. Assuming he continues to avoid setbacks, Gronkowski will be worth a second-round re-draft pick this fall.

WKYC reports Josh Gordon was arrested for DWI early Saturday morning in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Gordon was pulled over for going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone and received a speeding ticket in addition to the driving while impaired. He reportedly had a BAC of .09, which is slightly above the legal limit in North Carolina. The arrest is Gordon's second run-in with the law in the past two months after he was linked to a possession of marijuana charge in May. It further complicates Gordon's appeal of his indefinite suspension and could put his career in jeopardy. Gordon has an NFL hearing scheduled for his failed drug test in late July.

ESPN 49ers reporter Bill Williamson believes Frank Gore will see "about 220 carries" this season.

Gore had 276 in 2013. GM Trent Baalke has discussed removing some of the load off of 31-year-old Gore's shoulders, and the selection of Carlos Hyde was a clear indication the 49ers want to divvy up carries more this season. That does not mean Gore will fall off the map, though. As long as he is healthy, Gore will remain the lead back in San Francisco and a low-end RB2. Still, losing over 50 carries would deal a significant blow to his fantasy outlook.

Redskins OC Sean McVay said Robert Griffin III "looks like he is exactly what he was in the 2012 season."

"I think people underestimate when you have a brace on your knee how much that truly restricts you," McVay continued. "So I think being able to take that off, he looks extremely explosive." The knee brace may have played some role, but Griffin's lack of explosiveness last season had much more to do with rushing back from knee surgery. Neither issue should hold Griffin back this season. Griffin is poised for a bounce-back campaign. He has a chance to be a nice value pick at his current late sixth-round ADP.
