DeMarco Murray (foot) is active for Week 13 against the Eagles.

As is Felix Jones (knee). ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning Murray will be ticketed for a limited role, rotating touches with Jones. Lance Dunbar is unlikely to be a meaningful part of the game plan. Out since Week 6, consider this a test drive for Murray ahead of a possible return to your RB2 spot for the fantasy playoffs. He's no more than a flex option for Week 13. Inactive for the Cowboys are NT Jay Ratliff, CB Orlando Scandrick, WR Anthony Armstrong, S Charlie Peprah, G/C David Arkin, C Phil Costa and LB Brady Poppinga.

ESPN Chiefs reporter Adam Teicher reports Jamaal Charles' workload will not be limited "if he's healthy and he's the same player he was before the knee injury."

This is music to the ears of Charles truthers, but Teicher did add a big caveat. Charles will be 30 in December and is coming off his second knee surgery in the last four years. He also has company in the backfield after Spencer Ware and Charcandrick West combined for 1,256 total yards and 11 scores last season. Charles will still clearly be the lead back if healthy, but he should lose touches to Ware and perhaps even West regardless of health.

TMZ Sports reports Tre Mason's family is concerned about his mental health and personal safety.

Mason has been involved with the police on five separate occasions over the past four months. The most recent incident occurred on Saturday when multiple units were called to Mason's home in the middle of the afternoon. Mason was not arrested, but it has become clear he is struggling. Hopefully he can get the help he needs. Rams coach Jeff Fisher has already conceded there is a good chance Mason is "not going to be" with the team in the near future.

Chargers GM Tom Telesco said he is not sure if No. 3 overall pick Joey Bosa will report to training camp on time.

"I don’t know," Telesco said. "We’re still working on it. Hopefully we’ll get something done, but I don’t know." Bosa and the Chargers are quibbling over offset language and the structure of the bonus money in his rookie contract. One of just three first-rounders who remain unsigned, this situation should be resolved early in camp at the latest. Bosa is expected to hold down the end spot opposite Corey Liuget as a rookie.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press' Charley Walters believes this season "probably will be the last in Minnesota" for Adrian Peterson.

Walters cites Peterson's rising wages -- he is owed a $6 million roster bonus along with an $11.75 million base salary in 2017 -- as the main reason he will be shown the door. It is unlikely the Vikings pay Peterson that much money in his age-32 season, but that is not the only option. The Vikings could offer Peterson an extension which gives him some security down the line in exchange for a lower salary next year, and he will likely be willing to negotiate knowing he will not get close to $18 million on the open market. Still, it is not a given Peterson returns to Minnesota next season, making Jerick McKinnon a great hold in Dynasty formats.

According to the Denver Post's Cameron Wolfe, C.J. Anderson "has the potential" to be a "1,500-yard back."

The Gary Kubiak Effect. Kubiak has long championed featuring his running backs and making them the focal point of his offenses. With Peyton Manning now out of the picture, Kubiak is expected to revert to that style of play in 2016. Totaling 1,500 yards should be within reach for Anderson as long as he can stay healthy and get off to a fast start. Arian Foster rushed for 1,200-plus yards and tallied 1,500-plus three times under Kubiak in Houston, and Justin Forsett totaled 1,529 in 2014 in Kubiak's lone season with Baltimore. Anderson remains one of the better picks at his current fourth-round ADP.

The Indianapolis Star's Zak Keefer believes 2015 first-round WR Phillip Dorsett is in line for a "breakout season."

With Andre Johnson and Coby Fleener gone, the Colts are shifting to more of a three-wide offense after employing a ton of two-tight end sets with Fleener and Dwayne Allen in years past. Dorsett is taking over as the No. 3 receiver behind T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief. Dorsett missed five games as a rookie due to a broken fibula and played the final three games with Matt Hasselbeck, Josh Freeman, and Ryan Lindley. With a MyFantasyLeague.com ADP of 151 overall, Dorsett is an excellent late-round flier. He'll be close to a full-time player in an offense that lost a ton of targets from 2015 and gets Andrew Luck back healthy.

Browns head of football operations Sashi Brown indicated in a Monday statement that suspended WR Josh Gordon will be given another chance in Cleveland.

"With the league's decision to afford Josh the opportunity to resume his career, he will be with us for the start of training camp,'' Brown said. "At that time, we will discuss directly with Josh the direction of our team, our expectations of our players and a plan to support him on and off the field." Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reported earlier this afternoon that Gordon remains on "thin ice" with the organization, but Brown's words suggest the formerly-troubled 25-year-old will stick with the team through training camp.

LeGarrette Blount (hip) avoided the Patriots' active/PUP list to begin camp.

It's a great sign after Blount missed all spring practices, then ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss reported Blount's roster spot wasn't secure. If Blount is healthy and in good shape -- he is both of those things right now -- he will return as the heavy favorite to handle big-back carries in the Patriots' high-scoring offense. New England may lean on Blount more than usual during Tom Brady's four-game ban. The Pats play the Cardinals, Dolphins, Texans, and Bills in that window.

Patriots placed RB Dion Lewis (ACL) and Julian Edelman (foot surgeries) on the active/PUP list.

This doesn't hint where either player is in their respective recoveries, though it is a small surprise Lewis hasn't been cleared for training camp. Lewis did participate at June minicamp, practicing without a brace on his surgically repaired knee. We suspect he'll be activated onto the 90-man roster within a few weeks, if not sooner. Edelman's recovery is going to be more complex.

Packers placed WR Jordy Nelson (ACL) on the active/PUP list.

Jared Cook (foot surgery) and Ty Montgomery (ankle surgery) also showed up on the list. It means Nelson hasn't yet been cleared to practice, a mild surprise since all offseason reports regarding his recovery have been glowing. Nelson can still be activated at any time, and it's conceivable he only spends a few days on active/PUP. At age 31 coming off an ACL tear, Nelson's health will continue to be a situation to monitor throughout Packers training camp.

Redskins OLB Junior Galette has suffered another torn Achilles' tendon, and is done for the season.

Galette's second year as a Redskin will end the same as his first: With zero snaps. Per PFT, Galette tore his right Achilles'. It was Galette's left Achilles' that cost him all of 2015. Headed into what would have been his age-28 season, Galette's career is now in serious doubt. It's an on-paper blow for the Redskins' thin pass rush, but realistically DC Joe Barry should never have been counting heavily on Galette considering his off-field and injury histories.
