Tony Romo dismantled the Eagles in Dallas' 38-33, Week 13 win, completing 20-of-27 passes for 303 yards and three touchdowns.

He added three scrambles for 14 yards. Although Romo was certainly on his game, the Eagles' laughable tackling and coverage schemes made his night infinitely easier. Aside from some occasional heat in the pocket, Romo faced embarrassingly little resistance from a defense that's fallen off a cliff after embattled DC Juan Castillo was chased out of Philadelphia. Romo has now thrown for over 300 yards in three straight starts, and five of his past six. With 75 percent of the year in the books, he's on pace for 4,880 yards and 25 touchdowns. The yards would be a new career high by nearly 400.

Patriots placed RT Marcus Cannon on injured reserve with an ankle injury, ending his season.

Dec 13 - 2:13 PM

LeSean McCoy (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Coach Sean McDermott didn't mention McCoy in the morning as someone who would be limited in Wednesday's practice, but we'll side with it being a precaution for now. Coming off a huge game against the Colts when he saw 32 carries in the blizzard, it may just be a way to get McCoy some rest ahead of another smash spot this week against Miami. McCoy is a locked-in elite RB1.

Coach Mike McCarthy said Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) is "preparing to play" Week 15 against the Panthers.

Rodgers was medically cleared to return to the field late Tuesday night and should be under center Sunday against the Panthers. Brett Hundley had some flashes in Rodgers' absence but was more bad than good, and Rodgers' return gives the 7-6 Packers a shot to sneak into the playoffs. The schedule won't be easy, particularly starting this week in Charlotte against the Panthers.
Dec 13 - 1:23 PM

Kyle Rudolph (ankle) is in a walking boot after getting hurt late in Week 14.

Rudolph missed the final handful of plays last week against the Panthers and looks to be in jeopardy of missing Week 15 against the Bengals. Rudolph has been scoring at will of late, but his targets have been down the past few weeks. If he sits, David Morgan and Blake Bell are next up at tight end.
Dec 13 - 1:20 PM

Joe Mixon remains in the league's concussion protocol Wednesday.

Mixon was concussed nine days ago and missed Week 14. Giovani Bernard got the start in his absence and played 85.2% of the snaps while turning 17 touches into 130 scoreless yards. If he gets another start this week, it will be a tough road test against the Vikings' top-notch defense. Bernard will be a volume-dependent RB2, but expectations would need to be tempered.
Dec 13 - 11:27 AM

Coach Jim Caldwell said he expects Ameer Abdullah (neck) to return Week 15 against the Bears.

"I do, as long as things keep trending in the right direction," Caldwell said. The Lions and Bears kick off the early Saturday game at 4:30 ET. Abdullah's return will make none of the Lions' running backs attractive fantasy plays.
Dec 13 - 10:56 AM

Zach Ertz has cleared the league's concussion protocol and will practice Wednesday.

Ertz was said to be making steady progress late last week but was still dealing with headaches over the weekend and had to sit out the Week 14 thriller against the Rams. Trey Burton had a huge game in Ertz's absence but will be sent back to backup duties with Ertz healthy. Ertz will remain a TE1, even in the absence of Carson Wentz (knee). He gets a date against the Giants next.
Dec 13 - 10:47 AM

Leonard Fournette (quad) will not practice Wednesday.

The quad thing is a new issue for Fournette, who never seems to be 100% healthy. The rookie rebounded last week with 101 yards and a score in a home win over the Seahawks, but he'd been struggling a bit the previous month. Fournette is fighting through small nicks and bruises and ultimately should play Sunday against Houston, though it's obviously something to monitor moving forward. Remember when Fournette said the NFL was easier than college?
Dec 13 - 10:40 AM

Kelvin Benjamin (knee) will be limited in Wednesday's practice.

Benjamin predictably hurt his troublesome knee playing in the Buffalo blizzard last week. It doesn't sound like he was any worse for the wear than normal, giving Benjamin a chance to suit up this week against the Dolphins.
Dec 13 - 9:48 AM

Tyrod Taylor (knee) is practicing Wednesday.

Nathan Peterman is in the concussion protocol after last week's win over the Colts. Per coach Sean McDermott, Taylor remains the starter when healthy, and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports it's likely going to be Taylor under center against Miami. Taylor is getting the starter's reps Wednesday.
Dec 13 - 9:46 AM

Both Gerald McCoy and the Bucs are hoping he can play through his Week 14 biceps injury.

Three days after the injury, we've yet to see concrete word on what the plan is moving forward with McCoy. He injured his right biceps last Sunday, and it's the one he tore in 2011. McCoy is likely dealing with some sort of strain, which is technically a tear. He admitted he was essentially playing with one arm last week, so it's hard to envision McCoy being dominant the final three games.
