Further testing revealed that Heath Miller sustained an ACL tear in Sunday's loss to the Bengals.

Coach Mike Tomlin initially said that Miller escaped with only MCL and PCL damage. Monday brought the dreaded ACL news. Already lacking top-notch athleticism and speed, Miller will now be rehabbing from a complete knee reconstruction at age 30. The chances of him duplicating the career-best season he put together this year are extremely slim. Miller's status for 2013 training camp is in doubt.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Andrew Luck (shoulder) is targeting Week 6 against the Titans for his return.

Luck has yet to show any signs of tangible progress in his recovery from offseason shoulder surgery but according to Rapsheet, the Colts finally see "a light at the end of the tunnel." Rapoport also suggested Luck could begin practicing this week, which would obviously be a big step in his recovery. Sophomore quarterback Jacoby Brissett will continue to hold down the fort during Luck's absence.

According to ESPN's Brian Franey, Giants CB Janoris Jenkins (questionable, ankle) is on track to play Sunday against the Eagles.

Franey was told by a team official that Jenkins "looked good" during Saturday's walkthrough and that barring a setback during warmups, he should be ready to roll against the Eagles. Jenkins will be tasked with quieting Eagles stud Alshon Jeffery, who is coming off a seven-catch, 92-yard performance in Week 2.

According to Jason La Canfora, the Bengals "anticipate a bigger role" for Joe Mixon going forward.

La Canfora expects Mixon to be one of the "primary beneficiaries" of Bill Lazor's promotion to OC and believes the "division of labor" in Cincinnati's backfield will soon "skew further in his direction." Mixon leads the team with 17 carries, though he's been significantly out-snapped by passing-down back Giovani Bernard. If Mixon's role does increase, it will likely come at the expense of Jeremy Hill, who has shown little in the early going (12 carries for 43 yards).

The Ravens are expected to start Buck Allen at running back against the Jaguars in London.

It's great news for opportunistic fantasy owners who went with Allen over Kerwynn Williams on the post-Week 1 waiver wire. Whereas Williams is essentially useless in Arizona from a fantasy standpoint, Allen is now a locked-in RB2.

Giants coach Ben McAdoo will continue to call plays this week.

McAdoo considered giving up playcalling with the offense managing just one touchdown through the first two weeks. The Giants "remain committed to their plan" after McAdoo decided against giving the title to OC Mike Sullivan in the offseason. McAdoo will call plays for at least another week, but there could be some offensive changes in a must-win game with the Eagles.

Rob Gronkowski (questionable, groin) is expected to play Sunday against the Texans.

Gronk promised he was "good to go" on Friday and it looks like that's still the case. He tweaked his groin in the second half of Week 2 but could have gone back out if the Patriots had needed him to (New England defeated New Orleans in blowout fashion). As usual, Gronk is the top tight end play this week.

Packers RT Bryan Bulaga (questionable, ankle) is expected to play in Sunday's Week 3 game against the Bengals.

It's a needed upgrade with LT David Bakhtiari (hamstring) doubtful. The Packers struggled to protect Aaron Rodgers last week, forcing him to make most his throws outside the pocket. Bulaga has been sidelined since the preseason, but his return should improve a pass game that will be without Randall Cobb.

After visiting Dr. James Andrews, Sam Bradford (knee) remains week-to-week with a bone bruise.

Bradford went to Andrews for a second opinion and mostly received good news. Andrews cleared him of any structural damage, meaning it will be an issue of pain tolerance for Bradford, who is sitting out for a second straight week. Obviously the Vikings will need to tread carefully given Bradford's long history of injuries, though the team is obviously anxious to get him back. He'd be an enormous upgrade on journeyman Case Keenum, who is starting against the Bucs in Week 3.

Terrance West (calf) is active for Week 3 against the Jaguars in London.

West sat out the first two practices of the week, but he was able to get in a full session on Friday. Despite being active, West may not be ready for a full workload at less than 100 percent, and Buck Allen has out-touched him 40-29 through two weeks. Allen looks like the better fantasy play and a quality RB2 while West is more of a hope-for-a-touchdown FLEX option.

Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey (ankle) is active for Week 3 against the Ravens in London.

Ramsey was limited most of the week and sat out Thursday's practice because of the injury, but he will play through the issue as he did last week against the Titans. LT Cam Robinson (shoulder) is also ready to go. Jacksonville declared WR Jaelen Strong (hamstring), OLB Lerentee McCray (knee), QB Ryan Nassib, T.J. Yeldon, OL William Poehls, OL Josh Walker, and CB Jalen Myrick inactive for Week 3.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport ‏reports Jay Ajayi (questionable, knee) is expected to play Week 3 against the Jets.

Ajayi was held out of two practices this week, but it was more of a maintenance situation than a threat to his Week 3 status. He shouldn't have any limitations despite the questionable tag. There's concern over how Ajayi's knee will hold up with Miami playing 16 consecutive games, but the Dolphins should continue to ride him in a matchup that favors a run-heavy gamescript.
