Aaron Hernandez (ankle) is officially questionable for Week 17 after getting in his third straight limited practice.

At this point, it would be concerning if Hernandez wasn't questionable/limited. (But not really.) He's Rotoworld's top-ranked tight end for Week 17.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Falcons will wait until pre-game warmups to make a decision on Julio Jones (questionable, toe).

The Falcons aren't expecting Jones to play but the door isn't fully closed after he made it through Saturday's walkthrough. It's a worst-case scenario with Atlanta on a late game this week. The latest reports suggest Jones isn't going to be active. Jones could have a limited role if he plays.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Mark Ingram (toe/knee, questionable) is expected to play in Week 14 at Tampa Bay.

Ingram took Thursday's practice off, but he turned in "limited" sessions on Wednesday and Friday and was always seen as likely to play. Ingram played through his toe injury in Week 13 and left the field at one point, but returned. Per Rapoport, Ingram "should be moving better" in this week's game against the Bucs.

ESPN's Adam Caplan reports Jordan Matthews (questionable, ankle) will play in Sunday's game against Washington.

This was expected after Matthews practiced fully the last two days. Matthews should see heavy targets with Dorial Green-Beckham sidelined. He's a high-floor WR3.
Dec 10 - 9:39 PM

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Jordan Reed (shoulder) is expected to play Sunday at Philadelphia.

Beat writers said Reed was in noticeable discomfort on the practice field this week, but the team has been more optimistic, and Reed was never expected to miss more than one game. Although the Eagles usually pose a tough matchup for tight ends, Reed is always one of the best players on the field whenever he dresses, and therefore can be matchup proof. He's a mid-range to high-end TE1 play against the Eagles, whose defense has come unglued over the last six weeks.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Falcons aren't sure if Julio Jones (questionable, toe) will play Sunday.

Jones is a game-time decision after not practicing all week. He might not be more than a decoy if active. The Falcons have a late game against the Rams, but there should be an update on Jones early Sunday. Jones will be a high-risk WR1 if he plays.
Dec 10 - 8:46 PM

9News Denver reports Trevor Siemian (questionable, foot) will start Week 14 against the Titans.

It sounds like Siemian showed enough in Saturday's walkthrough to start this week. The Broncos have been noncommittal on Siemian's status, but he's going to play through his foot sprain barring any setbacks. Siemian's return upgrades projections for Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.
Dec 10 - 5:29 PM

Jaguars placed TE Julius Thomas (back) on injured reserve.

Thomas had been sidelined since Week 11 and wasn't close to returning. He's missed 11 games over the last two years and hasn't played to his contract when healthy. Thomas has a $8.3 million 2017 cap hit. Jacksonville can save $7.1M from making him a post-June cut.
Dec 10 - 3:19 PM

Browns signed CB Jamar Taylor to a three-year, $15 million extension.

A former second-round bust with Miami, the Browns traded next to nothing for Taylor at April's draft. He's turned his career around as a full-time starter opposite Joe Haden, grading out positively both outside and in the nickel spot at PFF. Taylor gives Cleveland a No. 2 corner going into next season. His new deal keeps him under control through 2019.
Dec 10 - 2:51 PM

Bucs activated Charles Sims (knee) off injured reserve.

Coach Dirk Koetter created some worry Saturday morning when he said Sims would be activated "sooner than later," but Sims will return this week as expected. With the Bucs hurting at receiver, he could have a big role in the passing game. Despite coming out of a long injury layoff, Sims has some RB3 appeal even in standard leagues. Tampa Bay also promoted WR Donteea Dye off the practice squad while waiving OL Josh Allen and DT John Hughes.

ESPN Steelers reporter Jeremy Fowler believes 30-40 snaps is Ladarius Green's "range because of the Steelers’ run-heavy sets."

Green saw his snap share jump to 48 percent last week against the Giants, but that might be his ceiling if Fowler is correct. The good news is Green runs a route on almost all of his snaps, giving him plenty of target opportunities despite the limited snap percentage. With a pretty favorable schedule down the stretch, Green should be a solid TE1 the rest of the way.

Luke Kuechly (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 14 against the Chargers.

It is a surprise after Kuechly got in a full practice Friday, but it appears as if he did not pass the final test with an independent neurologist. He remains week to week. S Kurt Coleman and CB Daryl Worley were able to clear the protocol and will play against the Chargers.
