Miles Austin was forced from Dallas' Week 17 game against the Redskins with a left ankle injury, and is questionable to return.

Spotted hobbling off the field early in the second quarter, Austin crumpled to the turf before making it to the sideline. He's since been taped up, and is expected to try and play through the pain. He'll likely be in-and-out of Dallas' latest win or go home showdown, however.

Hunter Henry suffered a torn ACL at Chargers OTAs on Tuesday.

What a devastating blow to a player who was projected to play a massive role in a Chargers offense without Antonio Gates in it for the first time in 15 years. Henry is obviously done for the season, and it leaves Virgil Green currently atop the depth chart. It’s fair to wonder if the Bolts will turn back to Gates after they told him they were moving on earlier this offseason. However, Gates showed he has little to nothing left in the tank. Perhaps the Chargers will use more three- and four-wide sets with their abundance of receivers, including Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Tyrell Williams, and Travis Benjamin. GM Tom Telesco may also explore the trade market.

NFL.com's Mike Silver reports the Browns offered the Eagles the No. 35 overall pick for Nick Foles before eventually trading for Tyrod Taylor.

Per Silver, the Eagles consulted Foles, who said he wished to remain in Philadelphia. The sides later reached a reworked contract that gave Foles 2018 incentives and the option to leave in 2019. It's nice to see a team do right by a player, but the Eagles should have sold high on their Super Bowl hero. As it is, he's excellent quarterback insurance as Carson Wentz completes his recovery from a torn ACL.

The NFL has approved revised kickoff rules for 2018.

The biggest change is that running starts are no longer allowed for the kicking team. Various positioning changes have also been made, while two-man wedge blocks have been outlawed. An outline of the changes can be found at the link below.

Ryan Tannehill (knee) is practicing without a brace in OTAs.

Doing "everything" in OTAs, Tannehill is either fully recovered or almost there. Practicing without a brace is a change from last offseason, where Tannehill wore one in every practice in an effort to get used to it for the regular season. The brace did not stop Tannehill from re-injuring his ACL. Now surgically-repaired, Tannehill's knee should be stronger than it was last summer.

Raiders S Obi Melifonwu (hip) is not close to a return.

"He doesn’t look close to me at all," were coach Jon Gruden's words on Tuesday. "I’ll leave it at that. He doesn’t look close to me at all." Gruden's tone seemed to indicate he believed Melifonwu should be further along in his rehab. Gruden said just last month Melifonwu's return wasn't far off. The No. 56 overall pick of last year's draft, Melifonwu was limited to five games by injury.

Raiders acquired QB Christian Hackenberg from the Jets in exchange for a 2019 conditional seventh-round pick.

A move too beautiful for words. Mere hours after criticizing the Jets' coaching staff for failing to fix his terrible mechanics, Hackenberg has been acquired by back-to-the-future coach Jon Gruden. Even in Gruden's prehistoric environment, Hackenberg will be facing almost impossible odds of making the roster, as evidenced by the Jets' "compensation." He starts out behind Derek Carr, E.J. Manuel and Connor Cook on the depth chart. One of the biggest draft reaches in recent memory — Hackenberg never looked like a legitimate prospect at Penn State before the Jets selected him with the No. 51 overall pick in 2016 — Hack is going to need a miracle to prolong his NFL career beyond 2018.

Eagles LB Paul Worrilow has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and will miss the 2018 season.

Worrilow was a mere depth signing in April, but his loss is a blow for a team that just released Mychal Kendricks on Tuesday. Worrilow, who was a part-time player for the Lions last season, turned 28 earlier this month. The Eagles should be in the market for linebacker help.

Raiders CB Gareon Conley (shin splints) is a full participant in OTAs.

"Conley is special," coach Jon Gruden said afterward. "He was a top pick in the draft for a reason." Conley's rookie season was a complete wash, with his troublesome shin limiting him to two appearances. One month shy of his 23rd birthday, Conley will be given the opportunity to be a difference-making sophomore. The Raiders cut Sean Smith before letting T.J. Carrie walk in free agency.

Eagles released SLB Mychal Kendricks.

Kendricks was designated as a post-June 1 release, clearing $6 million in cap space while leaving behind $1.6 million in dead money. The move comes after the Eagles (again) failed to find a trade partner for their two-down thumper. Kendricks wanted to play all three downs. Going on 28, Kendricks had one of his best seasons in 2018. Provided he's healthy — Kendricks is recovering from an ankle scope — he won't be on the open market for long. Linebacker is a position of need for the Eagles.
May 22 - 3:43 PM

Jadeveon Clowney (knee scope) has remained sidelined at OTAs.

Clowney's scope was all the way back in January. He was originally expected to be ready for OTAs. It's likely not a long-term concern, but just another reminder of Clowney's durability issues. It's ill-timed for a player trying to snag a long-term deal heading into a contract season.
May 22 - 3:04 PM

Khalil Mack skipped the start of Raiders' voluntary OTAs on Tuesday.

Mack has skipped the Raiders' entire offseason program as he angles for a new contract. 2018 is the final year of his rookie deal. It's possible Mack even skips mandatory minicamp, but he would then be at risk of fines. A new contract should get done before Week 1. Unless you're the Redskins with Kirk Cousins, teams don't mess around with franchise-type talents like Mack.
