Cardinals president Michael Bidwill confirmed that the team will interview Andy Reid and Broncos OC Mike McCoy for the team's head-coaching vacancy.

Reid had reportedly been targeting San Diego and Arizona once he learned his fate in Philadelphia. With San Diego not interested, Arizona might be his best option. Bidwill added that the franchise has yet to give up on Kevin Kolb as the team's starting quarterback, and with Reid having already coached Kolb in Philadelphia, it seems like a match. The team doesn't have a preference in hiring a head coach or general manager first, and Bidwill says they will be looking at both the college and professional ranks for their next head man.

Marqise Lee (knee) returned to practice Friday and is questionable for Week 7 against the Colts.

Lee sat out Wednesday and Thursday and is looking like a possible game-time call for Sunday. He and Leonard Fournette are both questionable. If Fournette sits and Lee plays, Lee could see increased looks. If both sit, Chris Ivory and Allen Hurns would be the focal points of the offense.

Leonard Fournette (ankle) is questionable for Week 7 against the Colts.

Fournette didn't practice at all this week, though he did do some running off to the side. Some coaches make rookies practice at least one day for them to be active on Sundays, but we doubt the Jaguars are like that with their best player. For now, Fournette has to be considered a game-time decision. Chris Ivory would make for a fine RB2 play if Fournette is unable to go.
Oct 20 - 12:27 PM

Browns CB Jason McCourty injured his ankle in Friday's practice and is questionable for Week 7 against the Titans.

It's very notable, as McCourty is Pro Football Focus' No. 1 cover corner out of 108 qualifiers after six weeks. His loss would be a huge boost to Rishard Matthews, Eric Decker, and the Titans' passing attack on Sunday. McCourty limited DeAndre Hopkins to two catches for 19 yards on three targets in Week 6, though Hopkins was able to secure a short touchdown to save his fantasy day.
Oct 20 - 12:22 PM

DeVante Parker (ankle) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.

He's looking very doubtful for Sunday against the Jets after failing to practice for the sixth-straight time following his Week 5 injury in the first quarter. With Parker likely out, Jarvis Landry should again gobble up targets.
Oct 20 - 12:13 PM

Coach Dirk Koetter announced Jameis Winston (shoulder) will start Week 7 against the Bills.

Winston suffered a minor AC joint sprain last week in Arizona and was pulled from the game with the Bucs getting shellacked on the road. He threw for the first time on Friday, and all appeared to go well. Winston isn't a recommended streamer, but his presence at least makes Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson, Cameron Brate, and Doug Martin all the more palatable as fantasy plays.
Oct 20 - 12:10 PM

Mike Wallace (back) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.

Wallace was downgraded to DNP Thursday and Friday, so his status for his return to Minnesota is in question. Expect Wallace to do everything he can to play in this #RevengeGame. Wallace is a last-gasp WR4 option if he plays.

Kelvin Benjamin (knee) returned to practice Friday.

He's not out of the woods, yet, but Benjamin's appearance at practice at least gives us hope he could play Sunday against the Bears. In a game likely to be played at a snail's pace with the Bears trying to control the clock while also trotting out an underrated defense, Benjamin is a tough fantasy play.

Paul Perkins (ribs) is out for Week 7 against the Seahawks.

It solidifies Orleans Darkwa as the lead back for at least another week, and rookie Wayne Gallman will spell him on early downs while Shane Vereen gets his regular pass-game work. Perkins is way behind on the depth chart after averaging a laughably-bad 1.9 YPC on 32 attempts from Weeks 1-4.
Oct 20 - 11:06 AM

Sterling Shepard (ankle) is questionable for Week 7 against the Seahawks.

Shepard got in a round of limited practices this week after missing Week 6 following a twisted ankle the previous game. He should be back in the lineup and compete with Evan Engram for the team lead in targets the rest of the way. Shepard is likely to move all over the formation for the Giants.
Oct 20 - 11:03 AM

Coach Bruce Arians intimated Tramon Williams will be starting ahead of CB Justin Bethel for Week 7 against the Rams.

It has been looking like this was going to be the course of action all week. Per Arians, Williams is "in a bunch of packages, and he’ll be playing a bunch." Bethel has been getting flamed in coverage all year, allowing six touchdowns, two more than any other corner charted by Pro Football Focus, and is the site's No. 99 cover corner out of 108 qualifiers. Williams is 34 and coming off a horrific 2016 with the Browns, when he graded out as PFF's No. 102 cover man out of 120 corners. It's still a matchup to exploit. Williams should see a lot of Robert Woods on Sunday.

Coach Bruce Arians said CB Patrick Peterson (quad) has looked "fine" and will play Week 7 against the Rams.

Peterson had to be pulled from Week 6 against the Bucs and was limited in practice this week. However, he's ready to roll for his date with Sammy Watkins, who has been a complete non-factor since his big game against the 49ers a few Thursdays ago. Watkins will remain that way in Peterson's shadow coverage. Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp have better matchups.
