In addition to LCL and ACL damage, Robert Griffin III also suffered a minor medial meniscus tear in the Redskins' season-ending loss last week.

It's similar to Adrian Peterson, who suffered meniscus damage in addition to the torn ACL last December. The good news is that RGIII went under the knife just three days after shredding the knee. The meniscus damage shouldn't have a major impact on his recovery timetable.

Adrian Peterson rushed 11 times for just 21 yards in the Cardinals' Week 7 loss to the Rams.

He was targeted four times in the pass game, catching just one for 12 yards and dropping a pair. Peterson had a monster debut with the Cardinals in Week 6, but he crashed all the way back to Earth in this one, especially with the Cardinals falling in a deep hole and losing 33-0. Now with Carson Palmer (arm) out for eight weeks, the Cardinals will try to lean on Peterson on the ground. But with Drew Stanton under center, defenses are going to jam up the running lanes.

O.J. Howard caught 6-of-6 targets for 98 yards and two touchdowns in the Bucs' Week 7 loss to the Bills.

Used lightly as a receiver and primarily as a blocker in the first five games, Howard scored twice on Sunday on beautifully-designed plays that got him wide open, including a 33-yard score on which Howard ran far behind the Bills' defense. While we wouldn't exactly call Howard trustworthy from a fantasy standpoint yet, he will be on the low end of the streaming radar in Week 8 against Carolina.
Oct 22 - 4:27 PM

Todd Gurley rushed 22 times for 106 yards and one touchdown in the Rams' 33-0, Week 7 win over the Cardinals.

He caught 4-of-8 targets for 48 yards in the passing game. After not having a single 100-yard game as a sophomore last season, Gurley now has four of those in his last five games. Gurley's touchdown was an 18-yard scamper around the left side where he turned the corner and out-ran everyone else to the end zone. An elite RB1 under coach Sean McVay, Gurley now heads into his bye.
Oct 22 - 4:26 PM

Jameis Winston completed 32-of-44 passes for 382 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the Bucs' Week 7 loss to Buffalo.

He only took one sack against a Buffalo defense that struggled to generate pressure. The Bills entered this one having allowed only two touchdown passes through five games, so Winston's big statistical output wasn't entirely expected. He threw two scores to O.J. Howard and one to Mike Evans. Winston draws a slightly softer matchup at home against the Panthers in Week 8.
Oct 22 - 4:24 PM

Mike Evans caught 7-of-10 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Bucs' Week 7 loss to the Bills.

Evans was quiet with short catches for most of the game, but he toe-tapped a touchdown in the fourth quarter that gave the Bucs a short-lived 27-20 lead. The Bills rallied back with a LeSean McCoy touchdown and Stephen Hauschka's game-winning field goal. Keep Evans rolling as an every-week elite WR1 when the Bucs host Carolina next.
Oct 22 - 4:22 PM

T.J. Yeldon had nine carries for 122 yards and a touchdown in Week 7 against the Colts.

He added two catches for 15 yards. Chris Ivory started with Leonard Fournette sidelined, but Yeldon was the better back. He made a double cut and scored from 58 yards out on his TD, outrunning the entire Colts secondary. Yeldon had been a healthy scratch the last few weeks, but should have a role moving forward. The Jaguars are on their bye in Week 8.
Oct 22 - 4:20 PM

Carson Palmer suffered a broken left arm Week 7 against the Rams and needs surgery.

He's going to miss eight weeks, so this is a potential season- and career-ender for Palmer depending on his plans for 2018 and beyond. Drew Stanton was absolutely horrid in relief against the Rams, going 5-of-14 for 62 yards and a mind-numbing interception. The Cardinals' offense is one to avoid moving forward. Stanton simply isn't -- and never has been -- capable of moving the ball.
Oct 22 - 4:20 PM

Kizer completed 12-of-20 passes for 116 yards with two interceptions and was benched for Cody Kessler in the 3rd Quarter of Cleveland's Week 8 game versus the Titans.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. After sitting out last week, Kizer had a promising start, completing 6-of-6 passes on the opening drive of the game which led to a field goal, but then quickly fell apart afterwards. His first interception came towards the end of the first half at the Tennessee 28 on an overthrow. He then threw a pick on the opening drive of the second half in Cleveland territory, which ended his day. Head Coach Hue Jackson is basically grasping at straws at this point, but it's hard to envision Cleveland going back to Kizer in the immediate future.
Oct 22 - 4:18 PM

LeSean McCoy rushed 23 times for 91 yards and two touchdowns and caught 5-of-7 targets for 31 yards in the Bills' Week 7 win over the Bucs.

He nearly added a receiving score, but Tyrod Taylor's bullet throw was too hot to handle at the end of Buffalo's first drive. McCoy did lose a fumble that gave the Bucs life, but he was predictably the engine behind the Bills' fourth win of the season. McCoy has one of the softest run-defense schedules in the league the rest of the way, beginning with the Raiders next week.
Oct 22 - 4:15 PM

Cam Newton completed 21-of-34 passes for 211 yards, two interceptions, and a lost fumble in the Panthers' 17-3 loss at the hands of the Bears Week 7.

Newton was credited with a fumble on the Bears’ first defensive touchdown, but he put a perfect pitch on Curtis Samuel, who simply muffed it. The second defensive touchdown was on Newton, who tried to force the ball to Kelvin Benjamin in the second quarter. That pass was tipped into the air before falling into Eddie Jackson’s arms, who took it back for his second touchdown of the game. In addition to the turnovers, Newton also struggled with his accuracy on Sunday, badly missing his intended receiver several times. It is tough to blame Newton for much, however, as he was under almost constant pressure from the first whistle, pressure he was able to avoid for a few highlight-worthy plays. Unfortunately, those were not enough to get Carolina into the end zone in the disappointing loss. On the bright side, Newton did run for 50 yards, and he now has at least 50 yards or a touchdown on the ground in four of his last five games. Despite the bad day, Newton will still be a QB1 next week.
Oct 22 - 4:09 PM

Adam Thielen caught 5-of-12 targets for 41 yards in the Vikings' Week 7 win over the Ravens.

A combination of Case Keenum's inaccuracy and good defense by the Ravens contributed to Thielen's off day despite heavy volume. Kyle Rudolph finished second on the Vikings in targets but had only seven. Expect Thielen to bounce back with a far more efficient Week 8 game against the Browns, who have allowed the most fantasy points in the league to slot receivers this season.
