Browns hired Rob Chudzinski as head coach.

The deal is believed to be for five years at over $3 million per. Chudzinski, 44, spent the last two seasons as Carolina's offensive coordinator. He has ties to Cleveland already, as he was the Browns' offensive coordinator from 2007-2008 when he somehow managed to turn Derek Anderson into a Pro Bowl quarterback. Chud runs a vertical, aggressive passing attack that likes to feature the tight end and a power running game. ESPN has reported that Norv Turner, whom Chudzinski worked under as tight ends coach in San Diego, is likely to accompany him as offensive coordinator. Chudzinski had three head coaching interviews last offseason before ultimately returning to the Panthers. He is an Ohio native. We like this hire for the fantasy outlooks of Trent Richardson, Josh Gordon, and Jordan Cameron.

Jamaal Charles (knee) remained limited at Wednesday's practice.

Another day, another limited practice for Charles. ESPN Chiefs reporter Adam Teicher said it's "difficult to picture" Charles playing against the Steelers on Sunday night unless he returns to a full practice at some point during the week. Look for Spencer Ware to carry the mail again in Week 4.

Ezekiel Elliott said he feels "way more comfortable" in the Cowboys' offense than he did in Week 1.

And it shows. After a turbulent first two weeks, Elliott exploded for 140 yards on 30 carries Sunday against Chicago. He's now tied for second in the league in rushing yards (274) and third in carries (71). "I'm a very improved player from Week 1," said Zeke. He has a great matchup against the Niners in Week 4. Consider him an RB1 going forward.

ESPN's Rich Cimini reports the Jets are "concerned" about Eric Decker's shoulder injury.

Decker is headed for an MRI after missing Wednesday's practice. Per Cimini, the injury "sounds like it could be serious." Fantasy owners should be prepared to be without Decker this week and maybe much longer. Last week's loss to Kansas City ended Decker's six-game touchdown streak.

Jets released CB Dee Milliner from injured reserve.

The Jets shopped Milliner in the preseason, but were forced to stash him on I.R. with a hamstring injury. A 2013 first-rounder, Milliner is a massive bust from the John Idzik regime, appearing in just eight games the last two seasons. His release doesn't save New York any money against the cap. 25-year-old Milliner's pedigree and measurables are enough that he'll resurface but he's a major project.

Michael Floyd (concussion) has been cleared for football activity.

Floyd practiced in a non-contact jersey Wednesday. He's still in the concussion protocol, but will be reevaluated on Thursday. The Cardinals are "optimistic" on Floyd's Week 4 status.
Sep 28 - 5:14 PM

T.Y. Hilton (knee) didn't practice on Wednesday.

Hilton went berserk in last week's win over the Chargers (eight catches, 174 yards, one touchdown) so we're not worried about his status for Week 4. In all likelihood, this was just a maintenance day. With Donte Moncrief (shoulder) still sidelined, Hilton will continue to be a target monster Sunday against Jacksonville. He'll be a borderline WR1 in that matchup.
Sep 28 - 4:53 PM

Titans coach Mike Mularkey expects Delanie Walker (hamstring) to play Sunday.

Walker was held out of Wednesday's practice. He was close to playing against the Raiders, but didn't show enough in pre-game warmups. It sounds like Walker should miss only one game, though the early DNP isn't a good start. Walker's return is a needed upgrade to a Tennessee offense that was held to one touchdown last week.
Sep 28 - 4:44 PM

Tevin Coleman (ankle) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

Coleman limped off at one point during Monday's blowout win over the Saints but the injury obviously didn't affect him as he finished the night with a career-high three touchdowns. He'll be fine for Week 4 against Carolina.
Sep 28 - 4:34 PM

Antonio Gates (hamstring) is not practicing Wednesday.

Gates reportedly wasn't even close to playing Week 3 at the Colts. His body appears to just be breaking down at 36 years old. Rookie Hunter Henry will make another start in what looks to be another plus matchup.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: With Gates looking like he'll miss another week, Hunter Henry (who is minimum priced on most DFS outlets) will step into the lead role against a defense that ranked dead last against the TE position last season. Henry was the 35th pick in this year's draft and after catching each of his five targets last weekend, he could very well be in for another 2-3 looks against a vulnerable Saints defense. New Orleans allowed more FPPG to TEs last year than the leader at the position (Rob Gronkowski) averaged on the season.

Coach Pete Carroll said he "would be surprised" if Russell Wilson (knee) doesn't play Week 4 against the Jets.

Wilson is "pretty determined" to play through the sprained MCL and has been waking up in the middle of the night for treatment this week. A live-in specialist has been staying at his home. He'll be a low-end QB1 at less than 100 percent, on the road for a 1 PM ET start, and against a tough front four.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: The Jets are very stout against the run - they allowed the 3rd fewest FPPG to RBs last year and have allowed the third-fewest YPG to opposing backfields this year - yet aren't quite as strong against the pass. Wilson would be an elite GPP play if he was fully healthy, and while most of the field won't want to take the risk, Wilson is still a fine GPP target in large-field tournaments. This is a situation to avoid in cash games.
