Lions waived WR Titus Young.

It was a matter of when, not if, the Lions parted ways with the mercurial, delusional two-year "veteran." Although Young was red-flagged for character issues coming out of Boise State, the Lions made him the No. 44 pick of the 2011 draft. Young managed to post a promising 48/607/6 line as a rookie despite a few run-ins with coach Jim Schwartz, but went off the rails as a sophomore. Young sucker-punched teammate Louis Delmas in an offseason workout, drew a personal foul for head-butting Rams CB Janoris Jenkins in Week 1 and sabotaged the Lions' devastating Week 11 loss to the Packers by intentionally lining up in the wrong position. Sent home for the year in Week 13, Young sealed his Lions fate with a series of bizarre January tweets. A true burner, Young has the skill to succeed in the NFL, but won't have teams falling over themselves to give him a second chance. He will get one, however.

Browns activated Robert Griffin III from injured reserve.

There was never any doubt Griffin would be activated as the team confirmed he will be the starting quarterback the rest of the way barring injury. Despite getting the starting nod, the offense around Griffin is too poor and the risk of an in-game injury is too high to trust him in standard leagues. OL Matt McCants was waived in a corresponding move.

T.J. Yeldon (ankle) was not listed on the final injury report.

It is not a surprise considering he practiced in full all week. With Denard Robinson (ankle) out and Chris Ivory (hamstring) questionable, Yeldon should have a bigger than normal workload this week. He is still just a low-end RB3 in a tough matchup with the Vikings.

Jordan Reed (shoulder) participated in Friday's practice.

Reed admitted he was still in pain after Thursday's practice, but it looks like he plans to play through it this week. Reed will likely be listed as questionable when the injury report comes out later Friday and is shaping up as a game-time decision.

9News Denver's Mike Klis reports Trevor Siemian (foot) is "progressing toward playing" Week 14 against the Titans.

Siemian practiced on Wednesday and Thursday, and it sounds like he will get in some work Friday as well. Klis said Siemian's mobility will be the key to his availability. After Paxton Lynch looked not ready to play last week, the Broncos need Siemian against the Titans.

Browns RBs coach Kirby Wilson believes Robert Griffin III will help the team's struggling running game.

Isaiah Crowell has found zero success behind a crumbling offensive line over the last two months, but we have seen Griffin's mobility positively impact the running game in the past. It is possible we see a similar situation play out in Cleveland, but the way Griffin helps the running game is by being a threat to keep the ball himself, and it is unlikely the Browns want to put the brittle quarterback in that situation too often. That said, Kevin Hogan had some success running the zone read against Cincinnati the last time these two teams met. Even so, Crowell will remain a low-floor RB3.

Bills coach Rex Ryan said Sammy Watkins (foot) and Robert Woods (knee) will be "ready to roll" Week 14 against the Steelers.

Both were listed as questionable, but there really is not much doubt about either's status. Watkins will be an upside WR3 play as his snap share continues to grow, and Woods will be a low-ceiling WR4 against the Steelers.

Allen Hurns (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 14 against the Vikings.

Hurns will miss his second game in a row with a hamstring injury. Marqise Lee will serve as the No. 2 with Bryan Walters handling the slot duties.

Chris Ivory (hamstring) is questionable for Week 14 against the Vikings.

Ivory got in limited work all week, and coach Gus Bradley said he will be a game-time decision. Even if Ivory is back, T.J. Yeldon should take on the bulk of the work. Denard Robinson (ankle) is out.
Dec 9 - 11:15 AM

Julius Thomas (back) has been ruled out for Week 14 against the Vikings.

Thomas has not played since Week 11. Neal Sterling has nine targets in the last two weeks, but he is not a realistic streaming option.

Ryan Mathews (knee) was listed as questionable for Week 14 against the Redskins.

Coach Doug Pederson labeled Mathews "ready to go" on Thursday. Mathews should return to his lead role, but the Eagles have been unable to establish a running game while being blown out the last two weeks. Mathews will be a risky FLEX play in his return.
Dec 9 - 10:55 AM

Jordan Matthews (ankle) was listed as questionable for Week 14 against the Redskins.

He should play after being upgraded to full in Thursday's practice. The Redskins have struggled against slot receivers this season, and Matthews is one of the few reliable options in the passing game. He is a solid WR3.
