Lions C Dominic Raiola has agreed to restructure his deal, which keeping him with the team in 2013.

Details are still unknown. Raiola's roster spot was in the "danger zone" at this time last week, as he was scheduled to count $6 million against the cap in the final year of his contract. The restructuring makes a lot of sense for both sides. Raiola, 34, has been with the Lions his entire career, and he's a team leader. Pro Football Focus graded Raiola as the league's No. 13 center in 2012.

Profootballtalk confirms that Roddy White (hamstring) is "likely" out for Thursday's game against the Bucs.

CBS' Jason La Canfora first reported White was unlikely to play Thursday afternoon. It's a surprise after White played every snap in Sunday's loss to the Bengals, and the Falcons intimated he'd play Thursday. White has been removed from Rotoworld's Week 3 ranks. The Falcons will roll with Harry Douglas and Devin Hester behind Julio Jones. Douglas is a safe, but low-upside, WR3. Hester remains off the fantasy radar.

Cordarrelle Patterson was added to the Vikings' injury report on Thursday, getting in a limited session with a chest issue.

Patterson joins Keenan Allen and Bernard Pierce as surprise Thursday additions to the injury report. "Chest" is a rather vague designation, but it's hard to believe it's something that will keep Patterson out for Week 3. Owners must now monitor his status ahead of Sunday's trip to New Orleans, but we're leaving Patterson penciled in as a WR2.

Jamaal Charles (ankle) was officially limited in Thursday's return to practice.

It's quite possible the Chiefs are just trying to confuse the situation for the Dolphins, but reporters present for practice noted that Charles was moving well, and even cutting in position drills. What's clear is that Charles does not have a traditional high-ankle sprain, if he has one at all. For now, he should be considered slightly less than 50-50 to play. Even if Charles did suit up against Miami, it's quite possible he'd be on a snap count. His status should be updated multiple times over the next 24 hours.

CBS' Jason La Canfora confirms there's a "good chance" Doug Martin (knee) is inactive Thursday against the Falcons.

Per La Canfora, even if Martin does dress, there's "not much expectation of him being involved." It's going to be the Bobby Rainey show against a run defense that's allowed 309 yards through its first two games. Rainey can be used as a plug-and-play RB2.
Sep 18 - 4:36 PM

Vernon Davis (ankle) shed his crutches on Thursday, but was still "hobbling around" the 49ers locker room.

He missed practice for the second straight day. Although it's a good sign that Davis has shed his crutches, it's hard to see him suiting up for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. With Vance McDonald (knee) also hobbled, third-year UDFA Derek Carrier is in line to start.
Sep 18 - 4:27 PM

Keenan Allen was added to the Chargers' injury report on Thursday, getting in a limited session with a groin issue.

It's a new injury for Allen, who must have suffered it in Thursday's practice. The Chargers' press corps doesn't seem alarmed, but Allen's status will obviously be worth double-checking on Friday. We're still leaving him penciled in as a borderline WR1 for Week 3.
Sep 18 - 4:14 PM

Bernard Pierce was added to the Ravens' injury report on Thursday, getting in a limited session with a thigh issue.

Mid-week additions to the injury report are never good news, but we haven't come across any real reason to be concerned about Pierce's Week 3 status. We still expect him to lead the Ravens' committee against the Browns, with Justin Forsett mixing in frequently as a change-of-pace back. Pierce is a borderline RB2.
Sep 18 - 4:07 PM

Toby Gerhart (ankle) returned to Jaguars practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

Wednesday was just a day of rest for the Jags' lead back, who is fully expected to suit up against the Colts' leaky run defense. Although we like the matchup, it's hard to trust Gerhart as an RB2 since he's managed just 50 yards on his first 25 carries behind the Jags' porous offensive line.
Sep 18 - 3:48 PM

Jordan Cameron (shoulder) was "very limited" in Thursday's practice, and could go "either way" for Week 3.

The word comes from OC Kyle Shanahan. Public pessimism from the coaching staff is never a good sign. Cameron should be considered no better than 50-50 to suit up against the Ravens. If he does play, he'll be a mid-range TE1 at risk of re-injury.
Sep 18 - 3:33 PM

Cardinals placed RB Jonathan Dwyer on the reserve/non-football illness list, ending his season.

According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Cardinals are "evaluating (Dwyer's) mental health after suicide mentions in police report." Although teams have the option to withhold pay from players on the NFI list, Dwyer will reportedly still collect checks. He's almost certainly played his final down for Arizona.
