According to NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah, "everybody" in the league has Florida DT Sharrif Floyd graded as a top-five player in the 2013 draft.

Jeremiah explained that there wasn't much early buzz on Floyd because he was an underclassman and league personnel men hadn't had a chance to watch his tape. They have now. "He's a special pass rusher," said Jeremiah. "You put him in a three-technique, he's capable of getting you double-digit sacks."

The Tampa Bay Times' Greg Auman believes Doug Martin is still the Bucs' "primary" running back heading into Week 14 against the Saints.

Jordan Reed (shoulder) participated in individual drills Wednesday.

According to ESPN Redskins reporter John Keim, Reed caught passes with both hands, showing no discomfort. But once the Redskins got into one-on-one and team drills, Reed was an observer from the sideline. We likely won't know Reed's Week 14 status against the Eagles until later in the week.

Theo Riddick (ankle) is not practicing Wednesday.

He's been battling the ankle "injury" for weeks now, but isn't in any danger of missing Week 14 against the Bears where he'll merely be a flex play.

Adrian Peterson (knee, I.R.) said he won't return this season if the Vikings are eliminated from playoff contention before he is ready.

Asked if he still plans to play this season, Peterson said, "That's something I envision." He's progressed to making cuts, and says he can pretty much do everything right now, though he admits it's different on a practice field than in game situations. Peterson isn't going to play this week against the Jaguars, but there have been whispers he could play as soon as Week 15.
Dec 7 - 12:50 PM

Bucs OC Todd Monken said Jacquizz Rodgers will be in "a more expanded role" this week against the Saints.

Rodgers returned from a foot injury last week to run seven times for 29 yards and catch one pass for 21 yards. He was also playing late in the win over the Chargers, ahead of Doug Martin. We doubt Rodgers all of the sudden gets 12-plus touches, but he's worth stashing for the fantasy playoffs in case something happens to Martin. Martin is believed to be healthy right now.

Julio Jones (toe) is not practicing Wednesday.

Jones is battling turf toe. Coach Dan Quinn said Jones will likely play this week, but that's not a given. The Falcons don't necessarily need Jones in order to beat the lowly Rams and 49ers over the next two weeks.
Dec 7 - 11:55 AM

Sammy Watkins (foot) is not practicing Wednesday.

It's not viewed as a setback. According to coach Rex Ryan, Watkins came out of Week 13 feeling better than he did after his Week 12 return. Look for him to return to practice Thursday before playing Sunday.

Dec 7 - 11:53 AM

Robert Woods (knee) returned to a limited practice Wednesday.

He's missed the past two games after spraining his knee in Week 11. Woods' return will be a boost to the offense with the Bills is must-win mode on the outside looking in at the playoffs. This puts Woods on track for Week 14.
Dec 7 - 11:49 AM

Jordan Matthews (ankle) returned to practice Wednesday.

Coach Doug Pederson expects Matthews to play against the Redskins after he missed the Week 13 blowout loss to the Bengals. Matthews will have to avoid setbacks, which he was unable to do last week, but he should be fine.
Dec 7 - 10:59 AM

Ryan Mathews (knee) returned to practice Wednesday.

Jordan Matthews (ankle) also returned. Mathews has missed the previous two games with a sprained MCL, but coach Doug Pederson expects him back this week. The Eagles' rushing offense has provided nothing in those two contests as they've been blown out by double-digits in both games.
Dec 7 - 10:55 AM

ESPN Eagles reporter Tim McManus reports contract-year WR DeSean Jackson would be "intrigued" by the idea of signing with the Eagles in the offseason.

The Redskins have to be loving all of this talk about one of their players potentially re-joining a division rival as they'e in the thick of the playoff race. But McManus' colleague, Adam Schefter, reported over the weekend that the Eagles are expected to "make a strong push" to bring Jackson back to Philly after he spent his first six years there before being cut by Chip Kelly. Coach Doug Pederson and GM Howie Roseman were in Philly during Jackson's heyday.
