49ers acquired QB Colt McCoy and a 2013 sixth-round pick from the Browns in exchange for 2013 fifth- and seventh-round draft picks.

So Cleveland acquired a seventh-rounder and a nine-spot jump (No. 173 to No. 164) on the other pick. McCoy, 26, has a career completion rate of 58.3 with a 21:20 TD-to-INT ratio, 6.3 YPA, and 6-15 record. Arm-strength limitations put a major cap on McCoy's long-term NFL ceiling, and he's viewed as a mid-range to low-end backup around the league. Barring the addition of a mid-round QB, McCoy will compete with Scott Tolzien in training camp to be the primary clipboard holder behind Colin Kaepernick. We would not be surprised if Tolzien won the job.

Boom Herron rushed 12 times for 65 yards in the Colts' Week 12 win over the Jaguars, adding five catches for 31 yards.

Mark Sanchez completed 30-of-43 passes for 307 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's Week 12 win over the Titans.

Nov 23 - 4:27 PM

LeGarrette Blount rushed 12 times for 78 yards and two touchdowns in the Patriots' Week 12 win over the Lions.

The Pats primarily attacked Detroit's defense in spread looks, but did mix in some power-running plays. Blount -- not "tardy" Jonas Gray -- got the first opportunities to establish a hot hand, and he ran with them. Blount capitalized on an early second-quarter 81-yard kickoff return by Danny Amendola by powering in for a three-yard touchdown to give New England a 14-6 lead. He later scored from one yard out in what amounted to garbage time in the 34-9 romp. Blount wound up playing 17 snaps to Gray's zero. Blount is suddenly on the RB2 map entering a Week 13 date with the Packers.

Making his 2014 debut, Josh Gordon caught 8-of-16 targets for 120 yards in Cleveland's Week 12 win over the Falcons.

Despite much pre-game speculation to the contrary, Gordon wasn't on any sort of a pitch count, playing essentially every down. He was targeted on a whopping 40 percent of the Browns' pass plays. His 16 looks were twice as many as No. 2 Miles Austin's eight. It was music to fantasy owners' ears, but Brian Hoyer often appeared to be forcing the ball to his returning No. 1 weapon, making a number of disastrous decisions on plays where they perhaps weren't on the same page. Hoyer also flat missed Gordon on at least 3-4 occasions. Gordon could have had a much-bigger game. Either way, he's established without a doubt that he'll be an elite WR1 down the stretch as the Browns try to clinch their first playoff berth since 2002.

A.J. Green caught 12 balls for 121 yards in the Bengals' Week 12 win over the Texans.

The Texans did Green a favor by keeping top CB Johnathan Joseph away from his side, and letting Green go to work on second-year UDFA A.J. Bouye. Bouye got such a good whipping that DC Romeo Crennel benched him for Darryl Morris early in the second half. AJG went on to whip Morris repeatedly for first-down catches. Green now has four career games of double-digit receptions, and his dozen on Sunday were a single-game career high. With stat lines of 6-127-1 and 12-121 over his last two games, Green will be a top-shelf fantasy WR1 when the Bengals take on the Buccaneers next.
Nov 23 - 4:18 PM

Brian Hoyer completed 23-of-40 passes for 322 yards, zero touchdowns and three interceptions in Cleveland's 26-24, Week 12 win over the Falcons.

Put simply, Hoyer was lucky to escape this one with a win. Hoyer niftily engineered the Browns' game-winning field goal drive, but may not have gotten the chance if not for disastrously-bad clock management from Atlanta's Mike Smith. With the game in fourth-quarter crunch time, Hoyer made two of the worst throws you'll ever see. His pick on 1st-and-goal with 4:59 remaining was arguably the worst decision by any quarterback in 2014. Rolling right on a busted play action, Hoyer back pedaled and threw a jump ball to Josh Gordon off his back foot. It was easily picked by Desmond Trufant. Hoyer made use of his returning star Gordon, but had multiple miscommunications with him, and at least 4-5 terrible targets. Hoyer won't be a recommended QB2 for next week's trip to Buffalo.

T.Y. Hilton caught four passes for 122 yards and one touchdown in the Colts' 23-3, Week 12 win over the Jaguars.

Arriving to the stadium 15 minutes before the game due to his wife giving birth to their baby girl Sunday morning, Hilton's status for the game had Twitter in a pre-game frenzy. No worries. Hilton was targeted five times on a disappointing passing day for Andrew Luck. His big play was a 73-yard touchdown catch where Hilton ran right by CB Dwayne Gratz down the right sideline into the end zone. Hilton will be a locked-in WR1 against the Redskins in Week 13.

Browns FS Tashaun Gipson was forced from Cleveland's Week 12 game against the Falcons with a right knee injury, and will not return.

Gipson collided with Joe Haden in mid-air, and immediately went down clutching his right knee. He tried to hobble off the field before collapsing. The cart was brought out, and Gipson was visibly distraught as he headed to the locker room. It's quite possibly a season-ending knee injury for a player who entered Week 12 leading the league in interceptions. The Browns' defense keeps taking body blows.
Nov 23 - 3:30 PM

Julius Thomas (ankle) is inactive for Week 12 against the Dolphins.

Emmanuel Sanders (concussion) is active, as is Cody Latimer. Thomas is week to week, with a decent chance at returning in Week 13. Also inactive for the Broncos are RB Montee Ball, RB Ronnie Hillman, DB Tony Carter, OL Chris Clark, DT Marvin Austin and OT Michael Schofield.
Nov 23 - 2:55 PM

Lamar Miller (knee, shoulder) is active for Week 12 against the Broncos.

Miller's mid-week knee issue amounted to little more than a scare, though a normal workload can't be considered an article of faith. With a tough matchup, Miller is a low-end RB2. Damien Williams and Daniel Thomas should both get work. Inactive for the Dolphins are CB Cortland Finnegan, CB Jalil Brown, WR Charles Clay, LB Jonathan Freeny, OT Nate Garner, DT Anthony Johnson and OG Billy Turner.
Nov 23 - 2:54 PM

Larry Fitzgerald (knee) will not play in Sunday's Week 12 game at Seattle.

Fighting a Grade 2 MCL sprain, Fitzgerald just isn't quite ready. Considering he was a true game-time call, we suspect he'll be ready for a nice Week 13 matchup against the Falcons. John Brown, the exact kind of receiver that gives the Legion of Boom problems, will start opposite Michael Floyd.
