Redskins re-signed CB DeAngelo Hall to a one-year, $2.25 million contract.

Returning to Washington at a reduced rate was always a possibility, and became likelier and likelier as the 29-year-old drew zero interest after being released three weeks ago. Hall started all 17 games last season and recorded 102 tackles, 15 pass breakups, and four interceptions. Teaming Hall with Josh Wilson and E.J. Biggers gives the Redskins a decent cornerback trio, and signing free agent CB Antoine Winfield still isn't out of the question.

Allen Robinson reeled in 7-of-10 targets for 79 yards in the Jaguars' Week 3 loss to the Colts.

Robinson racked up catches in garbage time after drawing the start over Allen Hurns, who scored a 63-yard touchdown on his lone reception against the Colts. A 21-year-old athletic marvel with a 42-inch vertical, Robinson is more of a Dynasty league stash than re-draft starter. Still, he could become a WR3 option during bye-week crunches now that the Jags have installed Blake Bortles at quarterback. The Jaguars head to San Diego next.
Sep 21 - 4:31 PM

Jaguars coach Gus Bradley named Blake Bortles the team's starter for the rest of the season in his post-game press conference Sunday.

Although Bortles threw two interceptions in the second half of Sunday's loss to Indianapolis, including a pick six, he did lead two touchdown drives and breathed life into Jacksonville's previously inept offense. Bortles finished 14-of-24 passing for 223 yards, two scores, and the two picks after taking over to start the third quarter. He added 30 yards on two scrambles. The Jags head to San Diego next. If Bortles plays well, he could appear on the QB1 streamer radar as soon as Week 5, when Jacksonville faces the Steelers' swiss cheese defense. He's worth grabbing in all two-quarterback leagues.

Taking over for an injured Matt Cassel (broken foot), Teddy Bridgewater completed 12-of-20 passes for 150 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions in the Vikings' 20-9, Week 3 loss to the Saints.

He added six rushes for 27 yards. With Cassel dealing with "several fractured bones," it will be Bridgewater under center for the foreseeable future in Minnesota. Operating behind an ineffective offensive line, Bridgewater extended plays with elusiveness, and was more effective than Cassel has been the past two weeks. He showed good awareness, and had nice touch on his passes. We like his odds of getting the Vikings' Adrian Peterson-less offense moving more than Cassel. Bridgewater's first start will come at home against the Falcons next Sunday. It's a winnable game, but Bridgewater isn't yet on the QB2 radar.
Sep 21 - 4:17 PM

Rod Streater fractured his foot in Sunday's Week 3 loss at New England.

It's a terrible injury for a wideout, as we've previously seen with Aaron Dobson, Julio Jones and Marvin Jones. Depending on how bad the break is, Streater will be out anywhere from a month to the rest of the season. Look for Andre Holmes and Denarius Moore to rotate opposite James Jones in the Raiders' poor passing attack.
Sep 21 - 4:16 PM

Rashad Jennings rushed for 176 yards and one touchdown on 34 carries in the Giants' Week 3, 30-17 drubbing of the Texans.

It was a career day for Jennings, who set a new career-high in rushing yards by 68 yards over his previous mark. He's now totaled 381 yards and two scores through three games as the Giants' clear-cut every-down workhorse. Jennings plays in every situation and gets the goal-line looks, as he pounded his score in from one yard out in this one. Jennings gets the Redskins next Thursday night.

Matt Cassel fractured several bones in his foot during Sunday's Week 3 loss at New Orleans and is out indefinitely.

We don't have a timetable yet, but players can't gut it out through broken bones in their feet. This is rookie Teddy Bridgewater's team now, a good thing for the entire Vikings offense. Bridgewater went 12-of-20 for 150 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and also rushed six times for 27 yards in relief Sunday.
Sep 21 - 4:11 PM

Lorenzo Taliaferro rushed 18 times for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' Week 3 win over the Browns, 23-21.

He was not targeted in the passing game, but showed superior interior running ability to Justin Forsett, handling the 18 carries to Forsett's 11. A fourth-round rookie out of Coastal Carolina, Taliaferro should remain in the mix for carries in OC Gary Kubiak's backfield entering a Week 4 date with the Panthers. Bernard Pierce was inactive for Week 3 with a thigh injury and his status moving forward is unclear. As is the pecking order in Kubiak's backfield. A pile-pushing power back, Taliaferro needs to be owned in all fantasy leagues.
Sep 21 - 4:04 PM

Giovani Bernard rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries in the Bengals' 33-7, Week 3 blowout win over the Titans.

Bernard added one catch for seven yards. His best run of the day was a 12-yard gain off a spin move. Other than that, there weren't a ton of holes to be found. Bernard got much of the court quarter off, with Jeremy Hill coming in to rack up garbage-time carries. Both of Bernard's touchdowns were of the one-yard variety. He now has three scores through three games. Bernard and the Bengals head into their bye week before traveling to New England in Week 5.
Sep 21 - 4:03 PM

Clay Matthews was forced from Green Bay's Week 3 loss to the Lions with a groin injury.

Matthews went down midway through the fourth quarter, and did not return. Matthews has been a slow healer in the past, so it's a big concern for the Packers' unimpressive defense.
Sep 21 - 3:50 PM

Andrew Luck completed 31-of-39 passes for 370 yards, four touchdowns, and no turnovers in Sunday's Week 3 blowout win over the Jaguars.

He added 15 rushing yards on three scrambles. Through three games, Luck's TD-to-INT ratio stands at 9:3. He was surgical against the defense-less Jaguars, who sacked Luck twice but otherwise generated very little pressure as Luck spread the ball around to nine different pass catchers. Luck should have had a fifth touchdown, but Coby Fleener dropped the would-be score. Expect Luck to stay hot when the Colts host the crumbling Titans in Week 4.
Sep 21 - 3:45 PM

Kyle Rudolph was forced from Minnesota's Week 3 game against the Packers with a groin injury, and is questionable to return.

Rudolph was dejected on the sideline, and appears done for the day. Rudolph looked sluggish before going down, catching 3-of-5 targets for 27 yards. The Vikes are now left with Rhett Ellison and MarQueis Gray at tight end. It's possible Rudolph's injury is related to the "abdomen" issue that limited him in practice this week.
