Steelers re-signed ILB Stevenson Sylvester to a one-year contract.

A 2010 fifth-round pick, Sylvester wasn't tendered as a restricted free agent after last season. He's back to play on special teams and serve as depth behind Lawrence Timmons and Larry Foote. Sylvester recorded just one tackle in 10 games last year.

The Bucs plan to reevaluate Jameis Winston (shoulder) this week.

Winston has been shut down the last two weeks. The Bucs never gave Winston a timetable, but he could return in Week 12 if he gets cleared. With Ryan Fitzpatrick leading Tampa to two straight wins, it's possible the Bucs move Winston slowly. Winston was having a career-worst year before going down.

Rob Gronkowski hauled in all three of his targets for 36 yards in the Patriots' Week 11 win over the Raiders.

Gronkowski was surprisingly quiet in this one despite the Patriots moving the ball at will. All of his catches came in the first half, and he was not even targeted after the break as New England nursed a big lead. This was an aberration for the best tight end in the league, and he should get back on the right track next week against the Dolphins.
Nov 19 - 7:42 PM

Brandin Cooks hauled in 6-of-9 targets for 149 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' Week 11 win over the Raiders.

Cooks baptized the Raiders when he faced them as a member of the Saints last year, and he apparently felt they needed another sermon today. He ran by two defenders for a 52-yard catch in the second quarter, and he cooked rookie DB Obi Melifonwu for about as easy a 64-yard touchdown as possible. The only thing which kept Cooks from an even bigger day was the scoreline. With the Dolphins up next, Cooks should keep things going next week.

LeSean McCoy rushed 13 times for 114 yards and one touchdown in the Bills' 54-24, Week 11 loss to the Chargers, adding a 12-yard touchdown catch.

McCoy got the Bills on the board with back-to-back long runs capped off by a 27-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, but the offense was otherwise unable to keep hold of the ball with rookie Nathan Peterman throwing five interceptions on 14 attempts in the first half. He was benched in favor of Tyrod Taylor in the third quarter after it was Peterman making his first NFL start in place of a benched Taylor. McCoy caught the 12-yard score from Taylor after Charles Clay dropped a touchdown on the previous play. McCoy will be an RB1 next week at Kansas City and benefits greatly with Taylor's dual-threat ability at quarterback.

Browns DE Emmanuel Ogbah is done for the season with a broken foot.

Coach Hue Jackson made the disclosure in his post-game presser. A 2016 second-rounder, Ogbah entered Week 11 tied with Myles Garrett for the team lead in sacks (four). A liability as a rookie, Ogbah had been improved as a sophomore. He should be ready for 2018 training camp.

Tom Brady completed 30-of-37 passes for 339 yards and three touchdowns in the Patriots' Week 11 win over the Raiders.

The Raiders had no answer for Brady, who opened the game 9-for-9 for 61 yards and a touchdown on the opening drive and finished the first half with 20 completions on 24 attempts for 201 yards and two scores. He did not slow down after the break, either, hitting Brandin Cooks in stride for a 64-yard touchdown just one minute into the second half. This was a predictable blow-up spot for Brady, and he certainly did not disappoint. He should smash again at home against the Dolphins next week.
Nov 19 - 7:26 PM

Keenan Allen caught 12-of-13 targets for 159 yards and two touchdowns in the Chargers' 54-24, Week 11 win over the Bills.

The Bills started rookie Nathan Peterman at quarterback, and he tossed five first-half interceptions to keep setting the Chargers up in wonderful field position. Allen came into this one failing to produce even 70 yards in a game since Week 4 and hadn't scored a touchdown since the season opener. The 13 targets set a new season-high, and the electrocuted Bills defense simply laid down and let Allen do whatever he pleased as he went into the half with over 100 yards and both scores. He didn't even play in the fourth quarter of the easy win. This was a predictable breakout spot against a broken Bills team, and Allen should continue it on Thanksgiving afternoon against the Cowboys.

Alshon Jeffery (ankle) is active for Week 11 against Dallas.

Jeffery was a late addition to the injury report, but was expected to play. He should play his normal snaps despite being at less than 100 percent. The Eagles inactives are RB Wendell Smallwood, OT Will Beatty, LB Dannell Ellerbe, WR Shelton Gibson, LB Steven Means, DT Elijah Qualls, and QB Nate Sudfeld.

Jordan Howard notched 125 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries Sunday in the Bears’ Week 11 loss to the Lions.

Howard enjoyed a nice bounce-back game after underwhelming in a plus matchup against the Packers last week (54 yards on 15 carries). He ceded the game’s first carry to Tarik Cohen but made his presence felt by delivering his longest run of the season on a 50-yard burst later in the first quarter. Howard brought Chicago down to the one-yard line, though he didn’t have a chance to punch it in as Mitchell Trubisky capped the drive with a touchdown pass to Adam Shaheen off play-action. The second-year back would not be denied, however, as Howard delivered a 12-yard touchdown scamper in the second quarter. That ended a five-game touchdown drought for Howard, who topped 100 yards rushing for the 11th time in his career on Sunday. He’ll be an obvious RB1 against the Eagles in Week 12.

Nathan Peterman was pulled at halftime in Week 11 against the Chargers after completing just 6-of-14 passes for 66 yards and five interceptions.

Laughable. Peterman threw all five interceptions in the first half and was so unfathomably bad that he had us rooting to see him break the record of eight interceptions in one game. In a knee-jerk move that had no base in the first place, coach Sean McDermott made Peterman the Week 11 starter after the blowout Week 10 loss to the Saints that saw McDermott's defense get its teeth kicked in, and McDermott put all the blame on Taylor. It took Peterman only nine attempts to throw four picks after Taylor threw just three of them in Weeks 1-10 on 254 attempts. Taylor rightfully was given the job back to start the third quarter with Buffalo down 40-7.
Nov 19 - 6:05 PM

Samaje Perine rushed 23 times for 117 yards and a touchdown in the Redskins' Week 11 loss to the Saints.

Perine added a nine-yard catch. His only other passing target was a drop on a screen. Known for putting the ball on the ground, Perine also committed a butterfingers fumble, but he was thankfully ruled down. Really struggling so far in 2017 entering today, Perine not only emerged with by far the best game of his rookie campaign, but even more opportunity with Chris Thompson (broken leg) done for the year. There will be plenty of drives to finish for the Redskins' solid offense, putting Perine squarely in the RB2 mix, even with bye weeks officially over.
