Bengals G/T Travelle Wharton (ACL surgery) is expected to be ready for training camp.

Wharton tore his right ACL last August and may not participate in May OTAs, but he should be fine for contact work. Wharton had been penciled in as Cincy's left guard last season, but Clint Boling took over and proved an upgrade. Wharton will return as a versatile reserve capable of playing guard and tackle.

Joique Bell rushed 23 times for 91 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions' Week 13 win over the Bears, adding two catches for an additional 16 yards.

The rushing yards were Bell's most of the season, while the two-TD effort was his first of 2014. Bell continued to look slippery, getting around the edge and fitting through tight spaces for extra yards. His play has come on at the right time for Detroit. Bell will remain the RB2 conversation for the fantasy playoffs, as the Lions have an unusually soft schedule.

Alshon Jeffery caught 9-of-13 targets for 71 yards and two touchdowns in Chicago's Week 13 loss to the Lions.

Jeffery was a rare bright spot for the non-competitive Bears, often running free over the middle of the field. Both of his scores came in the first quarter, but a dinking and dunking Bears team couldn't drive the ball for the game's final 45 minutes. Now up to 67/854/7 on the season, Jeffery is on pace for 89/1,139/9. The seven scores are already as many as Jeffery had in 2013.
Nov 27 - 4:02 PM

Calvin Johnson caught 11-of-16 targets for 146 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions' Week 13 rout of the Bears.

It was just too easy for Megatron, who feasted on Bears rookie CB Kyle Fuller all afternoon long. Johnson split Fuller and S Brock Vereen for his first score, and pasted Fuller in the end zone for his second. Johnson was running free over the middle of the field all afternoon long. Locked and loaded for the stretch run, Johnson is going to be a beast for the fantasy playoffs as Detroit makes its way through a soft schedule.
Nov 27 - 3:55 PM

Matthew Stafford completed 34-of-45 passes for 390 yards and two touchdowns in Detroit's 34-17, Week 13 win over the Bears.

Stafford and the Lions walked all over the pathetic Bears, with Stafford rolling up 275 yards and both of his scores before halftime. The game wasn't in doubt after the first quarter. Stafford got off to a shaky start, sloppily sidearming his first pass attempt for a third-down incompletion, but was in the the zone thereafter, finding Calvin Johnson 11 times for 146 yards and two touchdowns. Stafford's trust of Megatron in tight coverage is steely. With today arguably the best game of his season, Stafford now gets three more cakewalk matchups for the fantasy playoffs. He'll be an every-week QB1 down the stretch.
Nov 27 - 3:51 PM

Dwayne Allen (ankle) remained sidelined on Thursday.

Allen's odds of returning for Week 13 are appearing lower by the day. A Friday return would change that, but even then, Allen would be no better than 50-50. Owners need to be making other plans.
Nov 27 - 2:40 PM

Jordan Cameron (concussion) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

Cameron has yet to gain final clearance for Sunday's game against the Bills, but continues to trend in the right direction. Cameron's season has been an injury-plagued disaster, but he'll immediately rejoin the TE1 conversation if he gets the green light for Week 13.
Nov 27 - 2:29 PM

Latavius Murray (concussion) practiced again on Thursday.

It's unclear if Murray has gained final clearance, but that should be a formality at this point. Murray will be an upside RB2 against the Rams after dismantling the Chiefs for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only four carries in Week 12.
Nov 27 - 1:50 PM

The Falcons expect Roddy White (ankle) to resume practicing on Friday.

Specifically, White will do "some" work. Coach Mike Smith didn't comment on White's Sunday status, but suiting up on Friday would put him on track to go against the Cardinals. White's status cannot be taken for granted, but he can remained penciled in as a WR2.
Nov 27 - 1:30 PM

Updating an earlier item, Davante Adams was limited in Thursday's practice with a heel issue.

Earlier reports pegged Adams as "DNP." According to coach Mike McCarthy, Adams got "stepped on" in Wednesday's session. It's a good sign Adams got in some reps on Thursday, but his Friday status will be all important for his Week 13 availability.
Nov 27 - 1:24 PM

Julius Thomas (ankle) returned to Broncos practice Thursday.

Thomas was "limited," but it's his first real practice since getting hurt in Week 11. How he's able to bounce back on Friday will be key, but Thomas is now tentatively on track to suit up for Sunday night's game against the Chiefs. Thomas' status will be updated no later than Friday afternoon.
Nov 27 - 1:19 PM

Coach Bill O'Brien said he expects Arian Foster (groin) to play in Sunday's game against the Titans.

Always slow to recover from soft-tissue injuries, Foster hasn't played since Week 9. He's on track to start against a Titans team that's among the worst in the NFL in most run-defense metrics, putting him squarely in the top-5 running back conversation for the week. Alfred Blue still needs to be owned just in case Foster sustains a setback.
