According to ESPN New York, there are "strong indications" the Jets will acquire Chris Ivory from the Saints.

Beat writer Rich Cimini confirms the Jets "never entertained" signing Ivory to a restricted free agent offer sheet ahead of Friday night's deadline, but they are very much in the market to trade. If the Jets did acquire Ivory, they'd likely try to sign him to an affordable multi-year deal. Ivory turned 25 last month. He'd become the heavy favorite for early-down work in New York.

Patriots placed TE Rob Gronkowski (back surgery) on injured reserve, ending his season.

The Patriots already designated a player to return, so he's done for the rest of the season/playoffs. Gronkowski underwent his third back surgery Friday but is expected to make a full recovery. He should be healthy for the start of 2017 OTAs.
Dec 3 - 4:15 PM

Andrew Luck (concussion) was not listed on the final injury report and will play Monday night against the Jets.

Luck practiced in full again on Saturday. The fact he was left off the report entirely suggests he has passed through the concussion protocol. Luck will be a high-end QB1 against the Jets.
Dec 3 - 1:51 PM

T.Y. Hilton (back) is questionable for Week 13 against the Jets.

Hilton was able to practice in full Friday and Saturday, and Colts.com's Kevin Bowen reports he is expected to play. Hilton will be a back-end WR1 against the Jets on Monday night.
Dec 3 - 1:49 PM

Jadeveon Clowney (elbow, wrist) was downgraded to out for Week 13 against the Packers.

Clowney was originally listed as questionable after practicing on a limited basis all week, but it looks like he did not even travel with the team to Green Bay. Already without J.J. Watt, losing Clowney is a big blow to the Texans defense, especially with Aaron Rodgers on the other side.
Dec 3 - 1:39 PM

Charles Clay (knee, questionable) did not travel with the team to Oakland because of the expected birth of his child.

Clay was listed as questionable with a knee injury as he has been most of the season, but it looks like he has a real chance to sit out this week because of the birth of his child. The Bills only said, "His game status remains questionable." Buffalo promoted TE Gerald Christian on Saturday, suggesting there is at least a chance Clay will sit, but he could certainly join his teammates in Oakland Saturday night or Sunday morning. Either way, he is not a viable fantasy play.
Dec 3 - 1:19 PM

Jeremy Maclin (groin) was downgraded to out for Week 13 against the Falcons.

Maclin appeared on track to return after practicing on a limited basis all week and being listed as questionable on Friday. He was clearly not ready to go coming out of a long injury layoff, however, and did not even make the trip to Atlanta. With Maclin out, Tyreek Hill should once again serve as the No. 1 receiver in a great matchup. He is a WR3 with a ton of upside.

ESPN's Field Yates reports Patriots DT Alan Branch won his appeal of a four-game suspension for violating the substance-abuse policy.

Branch always appeared confident he would win the appeal, but it is still shocking to see him not only cleared but cleared this quickly. The Patriots will not complain, however. A solid run stuffer, New England's already struggling defense could not have afforded to be without Branch.
Dec 3 - 11:19 AM

ESPN's Mike Reiss expects the Patriots to use more three-receiver packages with Rob Gronkowski (back) sidelined.

With just Matt Lengel on the depth chart behind Martellus Bennett, the Patriots will have to rely more on the receivers. That should be great news for rookie Malcolm Mitchell, who has three touchdowns in the last two games but only played 47 percent of the snaps last week. That percentage will likely rise moving forward. Mitchell needs to be stashed in all formats until this situation shakes out.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Thomas Rawls will "get the ball quite a bit" Week 13 against the Panthers.

Sore coming out of his first game action since Week 2, Rawls only saw 12 carries in the loss to the Bucs, although game flow was the biggest factor in his lack of touches. Seattle will hope for a better offensive performance at home against the Panthers this week, which will allow them to get Rawls more involved. Even in a very tough matchup, Rawls is a solid RB2.

Lions DE Ziggy Ansah said he thinks the ankle injury he suffered Week 2 will hamper him "all year."

Coming off 14.5 sacks last season, Ansah has zero takedowns in eight games this year. His ankle certainly has something to do with the decreased production. The sacks have not been there, but Ansah does have 10 hurries in the last five games according to PFF and almost had a strip sack on Thanksgiving. Those hurries should turn into takedowns eventually.
Dec 2 - 6:44 PM

Michael Crabtree (ankle) is questionable for Week 13 against the Bills.

Crabtree was limited at all three practices this week. Coming off a 100-yard game in Week 12, Crabtree should be a solid WR2 for Sunday's home game against Buffalo.
