Yahoo Sports' Jason Cole reports Branden Albert is seeking $8-9 million annually on a long-term contract.

The Dolphins and Albert have discussed a deal, but Albert is seeking more than Jake Long, whose $8.5M-annually price GM Jeff Ireland wouldn't match in St. Louis. As Cole notes, it would seem "counterintuitive" for the Fins to pay Albert the same number as Long while sacrificing a second-round pick. Albert is a better fit for Miami's scheme than Long, but both have been injury prone and Albert has a history of back problems. The Fins are in a very tough spot.

Eli Manning took a seat in the fourth quarter of Sunday's Week 14 game with a 40-0 lead over Washington.

The Giants did whatever they wanted against a hapless Washington team that started Mark Sanchez, then benched him for Josh Johnson. Manning finished 14-of-22 for 197 yards and three touchdowns. Giants management tried to tank this game by sitting Odell Beckham with a bruise, but the players (and the Redskins) would not let them. Manning and the G-Men will host the Titans next week.
Dec 9 - 3:18 PM

The Redskins benched Mark Sanchez for Josh Johnson in the third quarter of Sunday's Week 14 game against the Giants.

Sanchez was predictably dreadful, completing 6-of-14 throws for 38 yards and two interceptions, including a pick six. The Redskins trailed the Giants 40-0 when Sanchez was mercifully sat down. Multiple reports have indicated Skins GM Bruce Allen refuses to consider Colin Kaepernick due to Allen's political beliefs. Alex Smith and Colt McCoy are both out for the year.
Dec 9 - 3:08 PM

Cowboys LT Tyron Smith (neck) is active for Week 14 against the Eagles.

As expected. Smith was trending towards suiting up Thursday against the Saints, but was decidedly given an extended break before this important divisional matchup against the Eagles. The Cowboys' offense will essentially have all hands on deck for what's sneakily shaping up to be a high-scoring affair for both teams.
Dec 9 - 3:05 PM

Matthew Stafford (back) is active for Week 14 against the Cardinals.

Stafford was limited at practice this week due to a back injury, but he'll play through the pain Sunday in Arizona. This will be Stafford's 128th consecutive start. FB Nick Bellore (ankle), WR Bruce Ellington (back), TE Michael Roberts (shoulder) and CB Darius Slay (ankle) are all active after being tagged as questionable on Friday. LB Trevor Bates, OT Andrew Donnal, DE Kerry Hyder, RB Kerryon Johnson, LB Devon Kennard, WR Brandon Powell and CB Teez Tabor highlight Detroit's inactives for Week 14.
Dec 9 - 2:57 PM

Isaiah Crowell left Week 14 against Buffalo with a foot injury.

This may be related to the toe issue that sidelined Crowell in practice this week. Crowell had just three touches for seven yards before exiting. Elijah McGuire will take over as the Jets' lead back.
Dec 9 - 1:57 PM

LeSean McCoy left Week 14 against the Jets with a hamstring injury.

McCoy was injured on Buffalo's opening drive. He was ruled out in the second half. Chris Ivory and Isaiah McKenzie will form a committee in McCoy's absence.
Dec 9 - 1:41 PM

Jordan Reed was helped to the locker room with a foot injury in the first quarter of Sunday's Week 14 game against the Giants.

He was catch-less on one target before departing. Reed was in a ton of pain on the sideline, perhaps because he aggravated his longstanding toe injuries. Reed was ruled out for the rest of the game in the second half.
Dec 9 - 1:36 PM

D'Onta Foreman is inactive for Week 14 against the Colts.

Foreman was activated from the PUP list earlier this week, but obviously the Texans don't feel he's game-ready yet coming off last year's torn Achilles. Alfred Blue will continue to back up starter Lamar Miller. Foreman was a full participant at practice this week, suggesting he could make his season debut against the Jets next Saturday.
Dec 9 - 11:48 AM

Chiefs declared RB Charcandrick West, WR Kelvin Benjamin, WR Sammy Watkins, SS Eric Berry, OL Kahlil McKenzie, OL Jimmy Murray, and TE Deon Yelder inactive for Week 14 against the Ravens.

West and Benjamin were both signed as offensive depth and reinforcements following the Kareem Hunt fiasco and setback to Watkins' foot injury. Neither is ready this week but should factor in the offense the rest of the way.
Dec 9 - 11:38 AM

Texans declared WR Keke Coutee, CB Deante Burton, RB D'Onta Foreman, OG Zach Fulton, DE Joel Heath, WR Vyncint Smith and DE Carlos Watkins inactive for Week 14 against the Colts.

Coutee is still nursing a hamstring injury. This will be his second straight absence. D'Onta Foreman, who was recently activated from the PUP list, is a healthy scratch. CB Johnathan Joseph (neck, shoulder) and L Brennan Scarlett (ankle) will both be active for Sunday's game at NRG Stadium.
Dec 9 - 11:35 AM

Isaiah Crowell (toe) is active for Week 14 against Buffalo.

Crowell was fully expected to play despite his questionable tag. He'll should see his normal workload in what projects as a positive gameflow script. New York's inactives are QB Davis Webb, WR Deontay Burnett, CB Derrick Jones, CB Jeremy Clark, OL Ben Braden, DL Bronson Kaufusi, and DL Folorunso Fatukasi.
