ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Texans expect WR DeVier Posey (Achilles) to begin the season on the reserve/PUP list.

It means Posey will miss at least the first six games. It was almost certainly a factor in the Texans taking Clemson WR DeAndre Hopkins with the No. 27 pick, though they had a major need at wideout regardless of Posey's health. At this stage, Posey is little more than Dynasty league sleeper for fantasy purposes.

Melvin Gordon rushed 19 times for 78 yards and a touchdown and caught 6-of-8 targets for 91 yards in the Chargers' Week 15 loss to the Chiefs.

Gordon powered in from two yards out for his seventh rushing TD of the season late in the first half. Gordon’s longest play from scrimmage came early in the third quarter when he leaked out of the backfield and was left uncovered by the Chiefs’ linebackers for an easy 49-yard catch and run. In a losing effort, Gordon led the Chargers in both rushing and receiving, while No. 2 back Austin Ekeler lost a back-breaking fourth-quarter fumble. Expect another high-volume effort from Gordon against the Jets in Week 16.

Tyreek Hill caught 5-of-6 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs' Week 15 win over the Chargers.

Hill put the Chiefs up 10-0 with 6:30 left in the first half by dusting Chargers shutdown CB Casey Hayward for a 64-yard score on a straight go route, giving TyFreak his seventh touchdown catch of the season and putting him over 1,000 receiving yards. All seven of Hill’s touchdowns have come from outside the red zone. Keep Hill rolling as a volatile WR1 in Week 16 against the Dolphins.

Philip Rivers completed 20-of-36 passes for 227 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions in the Chargers' Week 15 loss to the Chiefs.

A gambler attempting high-risk throws into double coverage all night, Rivers was made to pay on a third-quarter deep attempt intended for Tyrell Williams when Williams lost track of the ball in the air and Marcus Peters easily picked off Rivers’ pass, returning it deep into Chargers territory. It was Rivers’ first interception in 164 pass attempts, previously the NFL’s longest active streak. Rivers threw his second pick in the fourth quarter on a forced fourth-down throw; FS Ron Parker was on the receiving end. Rivers’ third interception occurred in garbage time on yet another pick by Peters. On the season, six of Rivers’ ten INTs have come against Kansas City. Rivers will be a low-end QB1 play when the Bolts visit the Jets in Week 16.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports DeAndre Hopkins (toe, questionable) is expected to play Week 15 against the Jaguars.

Coach Bill O'Brien said as much on Friday, but it is still good to hear after Hopkins sat out the final two days of practice this week. Less than 100 percent with T.J. Yates at quarterback going against the toughest pass defense in the league, things look grim for Nuk, but he has earned every-week starter status.
Dec 16 - 11:46 PM

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring, questionable) is expected to play Week 15 against the Patriots.

Smith-Schuster looked truly questionable after popping up on the report with a hamstring injury on Thursday, but he got in a limited practice Friday and will give it a go in a pivotal game. Smith-Schuster was trending the wrong way even before his suspension last week, but he still is worth a look as a WR3 in a game with a 54.5-point total.
Dec 16 - 11:44 PM

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Devin Funchess (shoulder, questionable) is expected to play Week 15 against the Packers.

There was never really any doubt despite Carolina holding him out of Friday's practice. With a great matchup in a game which quietly could be a shootout, Funchess is a WR1 and a great value in DFS.
Dec 16 - 11:43 PM

Kareem Hunt rushed 24 times for 155 yards and a touchdown and caught 7-of-9 targets for 51 yards and an additional score in the Chiefs' Week 15 win over the Chargers.

In the third quarter, Hunt passed Joe Delaney for the Chiefs’ all-time rookie rushing record; Delaney ran for 1,121 yards in 1981. (Hunt now has 1,201.) On the same drive, Hunt caught a three-yard touchdown from Alex Smith to give Kansas City a 17-13 lead. Hunt got robbed of a second would-be receiving score when officials ruled the ball grazed the grass before Hunt brought it into his body. Running for 40 yards in the first two quarters and 115 after the break, Hunt’s dominant second half and five-yard rushing score in the fourth quarter iced the Chiefs’ much-needed win. With touch totals of 28 and 31 in the last two weeks, Hunt will remain an elite RB1 play when Kansas City hosts Miami’s burnable run defense in Week 16.
Dec 16 - 11:43 PM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Kyle Rudolph (ankle, questionable) is expected to play Week 15 against the Bengals.

It is quite the turnaround for Rudolph, who was listed as doubtful Friday after sitting out the entire week of practice. He was upgraded to questionable on Saturday, however, and now looks set to play. In a bad week for tight ends, he will be worth using in most situations.
Dec 16 - 11:42 PM

Keenan Allen was carted to the locker room with a back injury in Saturday night's Week 15 loss to the Chiefs.

Allen didn't look to be in pain as he rode off on the cart, but this will be a situation to monitor ahead of the Chargers' Week 16 date with the Jets. Held to five catches for 54 yards on eight targets, Allen was mostly limited to short catches by a Chiefs secondary that played one its best games all year. Allen entered this one with 100-plus yards in four straight. Assuming he is healthy, Allen will remain a high-end WR1 against a leaky Jets pass defense in Week 16.
Dec 16 - 11:32 PM

Chargers WLB Denzel Perryman (hamstring) was carted to the locker room in the second quarter of Saturday's Week 15 game in Kansas City.

Perryman could put very little weight on his leg as he made his way off the field following the injury, and trainers on the sideline quickly determined he needed to go indoors, never a good sign. A difference maker for the Chargers' run defense, Perryman's second-half loss will be felt versus Kareem Hunt.
Dec 16 - 9:46 PM

Leonard Fournette (questionable, quad) won't play in Week 15 against Houston.

Fournette was trending toward sitting after missing practice all week. He's still dealing with ankle issues in addition to his quad injury. The early rule out suggests Fournette wasn't close to playing, but he should have a good chance at returning in Week 16. T.J. Yeldon and Chris Ivory will pick up Fournette's snaps.
