ESPN's Bill Williamson is "hearing a lot of chatter" about the Raiders targeting USC QB Matt Barkley at No. 42.

That's the pick the Raiders got from the Dolphins for trading down from No. 3 to No. 12. Barkley hasn't been strongly connected to any team since the draft kicked off at 8ET Thursday evening, but there's buzz as many as three QBs could come off the board between picks 33-39. Rotoworld's second-round mock has Barkley tumbling to the Bears at No. 50.

A.J. Green (toe) is active and will start against the Titans.

As expected. Green was bothered by his toe last week, but got in a good week of practice and experienced no setbacks into the weekend. We conservatively have Green as a mid-range WR1. Inactive for the Bengals are WLB Vontaze Burfict (concussion), RB Rex Burkhead, CB Chris Lewis-Harris, LB Sean Porter, OG Kevin Zeitler, WR Marvin Jones, and DT Brandon Thompson.

Bernard Pierce (thigh) is inactive for Sunday's Week 3 game at Cleveland.

Already a shaky bet due to ineffectiveness, Pierce now add durability questions to his resume. Scatback Justin Forsett will start, but we'd expect Lorenzo Taliaferro to mix in for 7-12 touches as a change-of-pace back. Both of them need to be owned. In good news for the Ravens, CB Ladarius Webb (back) will make his season debut. The rest of their inactives: WR Michael Campanaro, OLs Jah Reid and John Urschel, DT Timmy Jernigan, LB Arthur Brown and S Terrence Brooks.
Sep 21 - 11:34 AM

DeSean Jackson (shoulder) is active for Sunday's Week 3 game at Philadelphia.

Sep 21 - 11:32 AM

Arian Foster (hamstring) is officially inactive for Week 3 against the Giants.

Foster's league-high 55 carries have already caught up to him. He entered the season as one of the most high-risk players. Look for the Texans to turn to a committee approach against the Giants, with Alfred Blue the most likely for fantasy production as a FLEX option. Jonathan Grimes and Ronnie Brown will also play. Working in their favor is that the Giants are missing MLB Jon Beason.
Sep 21 - 11:26 AM

Jordan Cameron (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Cameron ends up missing just one game with his sprained shoulder. Expect him to be relied upon heavily Sunday as the Browns "feature" Andrew Hawkins and Miles Austin as starting wideouts and there are windy conditions in Cleveland. Cameron is a mid-range TE1. The Browns inactives: WR LaRon Byrd, CB Pierre Desir, CB Robert Nelson, RB Ben Tate, LB Eric Martin, NT Ishmaa’ily Kitchen and TE Gerell Robinson.
Sep 21 - 11:25 AM

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Shane Vereen (shoulder) is expected to play Sunday against the Raiders.

Vereen is listed as questionable, just like most other players on the New England injury report. The Raiders are banged up on defense, and we'd expect the Patriots to run through them with Vereen and Stevan Ridley. Vereen's status will be know within the next 45 minutes. He's one the RB2 radar.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Robert Griffin III's (ankle) timetable is 6-8 weeks.

The Redskins have declined to officially release a timetable because they want to keep their options open. Expect Griffin to be out until the Week 10 bye, at which point they can decide if they'll stick with Kirk Cousins or go back to RG3. We wouldn't bother holding the former No. 2 overall pick in 10- and 12-team fantasy leagues.
Sep 21 - 10:52 AM

Brandon Marshall (ankle) and Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) are both expected to play in Monday night's game against the Jets.

Both wideouts are officially listed as questionable. But they appear to be in far better shape than they were last Sunday night, when they combined for eight catches, 95 yards and three touchdowns. In a plus matchup against the Jets, Marshall and Jeffery are top-12 options.
Sep 21 - 10:47 AM

Chris Russell of ESPN 980 Washington, D.C. reports the Redskins are "planning on having" DeSean Jackson (shoulder) active for Week 3 against the Eagles.

Russell adds that "for now," this is the plan. Jackson remains a game-time decision. The Redskins will put him through an extensive pre-game workout and make a decision afterward. Multiple reports have been that Jackson's shoulder remains a definite issue. There's a chance he could play a very limited role.
Sep 21 - 10:16 AM

ESPN's Chris Mortensen said he expects Wes Welker to be a third-down or role player in Sunday's Week 3 game at Seattle.

It's Welker's first game off suspension and first game since suffering his latest concussion. The Broncos project to stick with the two-tight end sets they've been featuring a lot of so far, only bringing Welker in on pass downs for now. He'll eventually get on the WR2/3 map, but this is not the week to use the slot machine. He already had a terrible matchup playing at CenturyLink Field.
Sep 21 - 10:10 AM

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Jordan Cameron (shoulder) is expected to play against the Ravens.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora has a similar report. After sitting out Week 2 in an effort to get his shoulder some rest, Cameron will be back in the mix as a mid-range TE1 as the Browns' No. 1 pass-game option. The Ravens have allowed just nine catches for 88 yards to opposing tight ends through two games.
