Steelers selected Oklahoma WR Justin Brown with the No. 186 overall pick.

Brown (6-foot-3, 207) ran a 4.60 forty and posted an underwhelming 30 1/2-inch vertical at the Sooners' Pro Day. A transfer from Penn State, Brown reeled in 73 passes for 879 yards and five touchdowns as a senior. Brown wins at the catch point, but he'll have trouble separating at the next level. He'll compete for a spot at the bottom of the roster and try and contribute on special teams.

ESPN's Pat McManamon wrote "all signs point" to Robert Griffin III getting the start this week.

Hue Jackson has yet to name a starter, and McManamon's prediction comes with the important caveat of "provided he makes it through practice and looks like he has shaken off three months of rust." Still, it makes sense for the Browns to see what Griffin can do, especially considering they averaged fewer than 10 points in their last four games. Even if Griffin gets the nod, the offense around him is too poor and the chance of an in-game injury is too high to trust him in the first-round of the playoffs.

Doug Martin (back?) said he was "doing fine" after sitting out the final three drives Week 13 against the Chargers.

Martin said he was "bent back" late in the game, and that is why he sat out. Coach Dirk Koetter also said the running back was fine after the game. It looks like Martin will be healthy enough to play this week against the Saints, but his workload is suddenly in question, especially with Charles Sims (knee, injured reserve) potentially returning.

Denver 7's Troy Renck reports there is "hope" Trevor Siemian (foot) will play this week.

Renck reports Siemian's foot "has improved" since last week. He will be evaluated on Monday. The Broncos got the win against Jacksonville, but they won despite Paxton Lynch. With a tougher test against Tennessee on tap, the Broncos need Siemian on the field if possible.

Thomas Rawls had 15 carries for 106 yards and two touchdowns and caught one pass for 12 yards in Seattle's Week 13 win over the Panthers.

Rawls did all his damage early, with just three of his yards coming after halftime. Both of his touchdowns were highlight runs. Rawls hurdled into end-zone from eight yards out for his first score, and made a nice cut outside for a 45-yard TD. The Seahawks briefly checked Rawls for a concussion but he only missed a few series. Even with a matchup against the Packers run defense, Rawls is a borderline RB1 for Week 14.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera told NBC that Cam Newton's one-play benching on Sunday was the result of a "dress code violation."

Rivera cost his team three points because Newton didn't wear a tie (seriously). Derek Anderson's tipped-ball interception on the game's opening play was a "ball don't lie" if there ever was one. Rivera likely snapped after a year of Russell Westbrook-esque fashion offenses from Newton following games. We're guessing the ol' ball coach won't make the same mistake twice.

Thomas Rawls left Week 13 against the Panthers with a possible concussion.

Rawls went to the locker room after a helmet to helmet hit late in the second quarter. He passed the league's protocol and returned after halftime.

Seahawks FS Earl Thomas was carted off with a cracked tibia in Week 13 against the Panthers.

Thomas went down on a low collision with SS Kam Chancellor. He was trying to intercept a pass from Cam Newton on the play. Thomas had to be carried off the field and was later carted off. He's likely out for the season and playoffs. Thomas is a candidate to be placed on IR next week.

Doug Martin said after Sunday's win over the Chargers that he missed the Bucs' final three drives because he got "bent back" late in the game.

This is the extent of the information available on why Martin didn't play on the Bucs' final three drives. The Bucs turned to Jacquizz Rodgers, who finished with nine touches and handled all of Tampa Bay's clock-killing carries in Sunday's 28-21 road-game win. We suspect Martin will be fine for Week 14.

Le'Veon Bell cruised to 118 yards on 29 carries while snagging six-of-seven targets for 64 yards Sunday in the Steelers' Week 13 win over the Giants.

He also threw an incomplete pass (don’t ask us how or why). Bell was stymied in the first half, producing just 31 yards on 11 rushes. But of course, Le’Veon saved the best for last. Bell went bonkers in the second half with 87 yards on 18 carries, though he did lose a fumble that eventually led to a Giants touchdown. As usual, he was heavily involved in the passing game. Even when he isn’t finding the end zone (Sunday broke his three-game touchdown streak), Bell continues to be a dominant force in PPR. Aside from possibly David Johnson, no running back has a higher weekly floor than Bell. Look for him to have another monster game next week at Buffalo.
