Cardinals signed Oklahoma S Tony Jefferson.

Jefferson (5-foot-10 3/4, 213) made 34 career starts at free safety, compiling eight interceptions, 18 tackles for loss, and seven sacks. Most troublesome during the pre-draft process was his 4.75 forty time, which isn't going to cut it for an NFL safety. Jefferson will look to buck the trend of unsuccessful Oklahoma defensive backs. A dozen Sooners DBs have been drafted since Roy Williams in '02, and the closest to a "hit" was Brodney Pool. Beat writer Kent Somers believes Jefferson has a "real shot" to make the Cardinals.

Paxton Lynch completed 12-of-24 passes for 104 yards in the Broncos' Week 13 win over Jacksonville.

He rushed twice for 11 yards. The good news is Lynch avoided turnovers and took only two sacks after taking six in his Week 5 spot start against the Falcons. The bad news is Lynch struggled mightily for the second straight start and is a clear downgrade from Trevor Siemian, who was inactive Sunday with a foot sprain. In order to beat better teams than the Jaguars, the Broncos are going to need Siemian back. Denver heads to Tennessee for Week 14.

Ryan Tannehill completed 29-of-40 passes for 226 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions and rushed for no gain Sunday in the Dolphins' Week 13 loss to the Ravens.

He was sacked twice for a loss of 11 yards. This was a meltdown of the highest degree. Tannehill straight up stunk on Sunday and seemed to get worse as the game went on. He showed almost no awareness, repeatedly throwing into tight coverage with disastrous results. The three interceptions were as many as he had thrown in his previous seven games combined. Even with a healthy offensive line to protect him—something he hasn’t had in recent weeks—Tannehill could only complete short passes and consistently made the wrong decision. It was a huge step back for the Dolphins’ fifth-year signal caller. Tannehill has another tough game coming up against Cardinals in Week 14, though at least that’ll be a home game.
Dec 4 - 4:54 PM

Joe Flacco completed 36-of-47 passes for 381 yards with four touchdowns and one interception Sunday in the Ravens' Week 13 win over the Dolphins.

Flacco was surgical on Sunday. He got off to a magnificent start by completing six-of-seven passes to six different receivers on the Ravens’ opening drive. Flacco had his most success throwing to Dennis Pitta, who shredded the Falcons for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Flacco’s obligatory bad interception came on a play-action pass intended for Mike Wallace. It was a poor decision by Flacco but Wallace gave up on his route, which allowed Byron Maxwell to swoop in for an easy pick. Aside from that, Flacco could do no wrong. He flourished when the Ravens went no-huddle and attacked the middle of the field. Sunday represented his highest yardage output since Week 2 of last season. Flacco will be an option in two-quarterback leagues next week against New England.
Dec 4 - 4:49 PM

Zach Ertz caught 9-of-15 targets for 79 yards and one touchdown in the Eagles' Week 13 loss to the Bengals.

Carson Wentz fired off a season-high 60 pass attempts, and Ertz was targeted on 25 percent of them. He was sitting at two catches for a measly six yards much of the day before catching a 13-yard touchdown on 4th-and-5 on a busted coverage late in the third quarter and then racking up a bunch of catches in garbage time. As long as Jordan Matthews (ankle) continues to be out, Ertz will be a locked-in TE1. He's worth streaming consideration next week against the Redskins.
Dec 4 - 4:48 PM

Blake Bortles completed 19-of-42 passes for 181 yards and two interceptions in the Jaguars' Week 13 loss to the Broncos.

His lone positive contribution was a 22-yard rushing score in the second half. Bortles threw the 11th pick six of his career to Broncos RCB Bradley Roby on a pass intended for Allen Robinson. Both of Bortles' picks were intended for Robinson, in fact. Bortles will continue to be a rushing- and garbage-time-dependent QB2 in Week 14 against the Vikings' shutdown pass defense.
Dec 4 - 4:47 PM

Devonta Freeman rushed 15 times for 56 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons' Week 13 loss to the Chiefs, adding four receptions for 49 additional yards.

Freeman now has four touchdowns in two games since Tevin Coleman returned. For whatever reason, perhaps freshness, he's been more productive with his sophomore teammate in the lineup. Freeman should have another day against the free-falling Rams in Week 14.
Dec 4 - 4:46 PM

Dennis Pitta snagged nine-of-11 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns Sunday in the Ravens' Week 13 win over the Dolphins.

Pitta ended a 17-game touchdown drought on Sunday and he did it with style. Baltimore made a point to attack the middle of the field, which, coincidentally, is where Pitta makes his living. His first touchdown came on a 13-yard pass Joe Flacco managed to squeeze between Isa Abdul-Quddus and Bacarri Rambo. He went for six again late in the first half, this time beating Rambo in zone coverage for a nine-yard score. Pitta did lose a fumble in the fourth quarter but the Ravens were way ahead at that point. His nine catches matched a season-high and the 90 yards he tallied were his most since Week 2. Pitta will be a TE2 consideration next week against New England.
Dec 4 - 4:44 PM

Spencer Ware rushed 14 times for 29 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs' Week 13 win over the Falcons, adding three receptions for 23 additional yards and another score.

Ware could have had a much bigger day, but Alex Smith flat missed him on a gimme 61-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. It was an odd afternoon, with Ware's scores masking an otherwise extremely pedestrian day. Ware is averaging just 48 yards rushing over his past five games, totaling a modest 110 receiving yards in the process. His workloads remain voluminous, but he'll be a bottom-end RB1 against the Raiders in Week 14.
Dec 4 - 4:42 PM

Travis Kelce caught 8-of-8 targets for 140 yards in the Chiefs' Week 13 win over the Falcons.

The team leader in every receiving category, Kelce continually ripped the Falcons down the middle of the field. The 100-yard effort was his third in a row, while the 140 yards were a new career high. Kelce has been good since 2014, but he's been becoming great in the absence of Jeremy Maclin. Even with Maclin finally nearing a return from his groin injury, it's hard to see Kelce slowing down. He'll be an elite TE1 for the fantasy playoffs. The Raiders are an attackable Week 14 matchup.
Dec 4 - 4:39 PM

Julian Edelman caught 8-of-12 targets for 101 yards in the Patriots' Week 13 win over the Rams.

The Patriots attacked the Rams with a ball-out-quick passing game in order to mitigate the impact of Los Angeles' talented defensive line. The Pats also put double and triple teams on DT Aaron Donald. Edelman took over as the focal point of this offensive approach and was no match for Lamarcus Joyner in the slot. Edelman has earned every-week WR1 treament heading into a Week 14 date with the Ravens on Monday Night Football.
Dec 4 - 4:33 PM

Marquess Wilson suffered a groin injury in Week 13 against the 49ers.

Wilson dropped his only target before going down. He missed the entire second half but the injury wasn't reported until after the game. Josh Bellamy saw the most snaps opposite Cameron Meredith and would likely start if Wilson misses time.
