Panthers signed Louisiana Tech QB Colby Cameron.

Cameron (6-foot-2 1/8, 212) set an NCAA record for consecutive passes without an interception as a senior, finishing with a 31:5 TD-to-INT ratio and 68.8 completion rate in Louisiana Tech's spread offense. Cameron only started for 1 1/2 seasons in college and lacks NFL-caliber arm strength, relying on touch and placement. He is a plus athlete, running in the 4.6s at the Combine with impressive cone and shuttle times. Derek Anderson and Jimmy Clausen are currently the Panthers' backup quarterbacks.

Percy Harvin was forced from the Jets' Week 16 game against the Patriots with a rib injury, and is questionable to return.

DeMarco Murray (hand) is officially active for Week 16 against the Colts.

As expected Murray will play, but he may be limited by the cast on his left hand. Lance Dunbar should see more work in the passing game while Joseph Randle could siphon off some carries as well. Even with the concerns, Murray has proven he is a must-start option this season.
Dec 21 - 3:15 PM

T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) is officially inactive for Week 16 against the Cowboys.

Hilton tested out his hamstring before the game, but the Colts eventually made the correct decision to sit their talented wide receiver. With the division locked up and a first-round bye a pipe dream, there is no reason to risk Hilton against Dallas. Donte Moncrief is a high-upside play against the Cowboys burnable defense. Colts also declared T Gosder Cherilus, G Joe Reitz, CB Jalil Brown, CB Sheldon Price, G Hugh Thornton and DT Montori Hughes inactive for Week 16.
Dec 21 - 3:03 PM

C.J. Spiller (collarbone) is active for Week 16 against the Raiders, as expected.

Spiller was listed as probable. He's back after an eight-week stay on I.R./recall. With Spiller active, Bryce Brown is a healthy scratch. Also inactive for the Bills are WR Deonte Thompson, CB Ross Cockrell, LB Larry Dean, LB Randell Johnson, OL Cyrus Kouandjio, and TE Chris Gragg.
Dec 21 - 3:00 PM

Johnny Manziel exited Sunday's game after taking a hit from Panthers S Colin Jones in the second quarter.

On a designed run in the second quarter, Johnny Football took a blow to the head from Jones. Brian Hoyer entered the game. Manziel ultimately went to the locker room with a towel on his head and surrounded by trainers. Officially, the Browns are saying Manziel suffered a hamstring injury. Before leaving, Manziel was 3-of-8 passing for 32 yards and three rushing yards. We don't expect Manziel to reenter Sunday's game.
Dec 21 - 2:17 PM

DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) is officially active for Week 16 against the Ravens.

He didn't practice all week, so we don't feel great about Hopkins. Pair that with the Texans' starting QB situation, and Hopkins is a WR3. But he should see decent targets against an injury-ravaged Ravens cornerback group. Inactive for the Texans are QB Tom Savage, TE Garrett Graham, ILB Mike Mohamed, LG Xavier Su'a-Filo, WR DeVier Posey, S Josh Aubrey, and OLB Jason Ankrah.
Dec 21 - 11:39 AM

Panthers declared RB DeAngelo Williams, OL Carter Byndom, S Robert Lester, LB A.J. Klein, OL DeMarcus Love, OL David Foucault, and OG Amini Silatolu inactive for Week 16 against the Browns.

Jonathan Stewart will remain Carolina's feature back against Cleveland.
Dec 21 - 11:39 AM

Cam Newton is active for Week 16 against the Browns.

He's officially starting and gets a matchup boost with Joe Haden (shoulder) on the Browns' inactive list.
Dec 21 - 11:28 AM

Julio Jones (strained oblique) is officially active for Week 16 against the Saints.

The Falcons reportedly saw enough from Jones in a pre-game workout to make him active despite Jones missing every practice this week. Jones could be limited by his oblique injury, but the buzz around Falcons' camp has always been he would be more than a decoy if active. He is a risky play during championship week, but his upside makes him a mid-range WR2 even with the risk.
Dec 21 - 11:21 AM

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports Joe Haden (shoulder) will not play Sunday at Carolina.

It's a nice boost to Kelvin Benjamin and Cam Newton's matchups. When healthy, Haden has been a top-five cover corner in the second half of this season. Look for Buster Skrine to now shadow Benjamin all over the field, much as he did to A.J. Green after Haden left last week's game against Cincinnati.
Dec 21 - 10:58 AM

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Philip Rivers has a bulging disk in his back, and offseason back surgery "may be (an) option."

Rivers has been playing through significant pain for more than a month. It's been borne out in his on-field play, although Rivers was still able to rally back for a Saturday night win over San Francisco in a gutty and highly impressive performance. Rivers is not in danger of missing the Chargers' Week 17 game at Kansas City. San Diego remains squarely in the playoff hunt. For as long as he's been in the league, Rivers has been one of the toughest players in football. He's even played through a torn ACL before.
