Ravens withdrew their exclusive-rights tender for S Emanuel Cook, making him an unrestricted free agent.

The fifth-year undrafted free agent missed all of 2012 with a broken leg. Cook has appeared in 17 career games, and will look to latch on elsewhere as a special teamer.

Sammy Watkins (foot) has been ruled out for Week 4 at the Patriots.

The Bergen County Record's Art Stapleton expects Giants CB Janoris Jenkins to shadow Stefon Diggs on Monday night.

The Giants are expected to be without both CBs Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and first-rounder Eli Apple due to injuries. It makes sense to have Jenkins trail Diggs any time he's lined up on the outside, with Leon Hall covering Diggs when he's in the slot. Jenkins and Hall have graded out as the GIants' two-best cover corners at Pro Football Focus, both being in the top-20 out of 104 qualifiers. Diggs is still locked in as a strong WR2 who should be funneled targets.

When asked about suspended WR Josh Gordon on Friday, coach Hue Jackson said, "We're moving on. We need to close that chapter right now."

"Today really is the last Josh Gordon comment I want to make," Jackson said. "What's best for our football team is that we move on." Gordon was scheduled to come off suspension on Monday, but he checked into rehab Thursday, leaving his status with the league in question. The Brows are fed up and reportedly are done giving Gordon chances. He's unlikely to play in 2016.

Dez Bryant (knee) did not practice Friday.

Coach Jason Garrett has refused to rule Bryant out for Sunday against the 49ers. And owner/GM Jerry Jones said Bryant's issue is a "pain thing," suggesting he could play through it. Ultimately, we expect Bryant to miss Week 4, but he could be a game-time decision for the 4:25 PM ET kickoff.

Marvin Jones (hamstring) is practicing on Friday.

According to onlookers, Jones "looked fine" at practice, suggesting he's near 100 percent. He could avoid the final injury report altogether and is shaping up as a locked-in WR1 for the divisional tilt with the Bears on Sunday.
Sep 30 - 11:39 AM

Phillip Dorsett (ankle) was added to the Colts' injury report Friday and is listed as questionable for Week 4 against the Jaguars.

Dorsett was limited on Friday, suggesting he maybe twisted his ankle in practice. He's shaping up as a game-time decision. With Colts-Jaguars kicking off at 9:30 AM ET Sunday, we'll know Dorsett's official status very early in the morning. If he doesn't play, T.Y. Hilton may see 15-plus targets.
Sep 30 - 11:37 AM

Sammy Watkins (foot) is not practicing on Friday.

Watkins is almost sure to miss his second-straight game after his surgically-repaired foot was stepped on in a walkthrough practice last week. Robert Woods and Charles Clay will again be the Bills' top two targets, while LeSean McCoy should be a lock for a 20-touch floor as the focal point.

Julius Thomas (elbow) will be a game-time decision for Week 4 against the Colts.

Thomas practices with his elbow in a brace on Friday. He's officially questionable for the London affair. With the Colts and Jaguars kicking off at 9:30 AM ET, owners can wait for inactives before making backup plans for Thomas.

Coach Bill O'Brien will take over offensive play-calling duties Week 4 against the Titans.

O'Brien called the plays in his first season (2014) as head coach, but turned those duties over to OC George Godsey last year. After three weeks this season, the Texans are dead-last in red-zone success and field Football Outsiders' 32nd-ranked offense in DVOA. They have just three touchdowns in three games. Against Tennessee, this presents a get-right spot.
Sep 30 - 9:55 AM

A.J. Green caught 10-of-12 targets for 173 yards and a touchdown in Cincinnati's Week 4 win over the Dolphins.

Going to work against no-names Xavien Howard and Tony Lippett, Green already had eight catches for 123 yards and his score by halftime. He didn't need to do more after the break of a non-competitive game. 3/77/1 of Green's production came on one first quarter drive. He beat perfect coverage from Howard for a 51-yard catch down the right sideline before clownsuiting Lippett on a screen for his score. The 10-catch effort was already Green's second of 2016. He's now averaging eight grabs per game. He should feast again against the Cowboys in Week 5.
Sep 29 - 11:28 PM

Ryan Tannehill completed 15-of-25 passes for 189 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Miami's 22-7, Week 4 loss to the Bengals.

He also lost a fumble. Tannehill tossed a 74-yard touchdown on the Dolphins' second play from scrimmage and then proceeded to be stunningly terrible. Tannehill was certainly disadvantaged by awful offensive line play, but played with the pocket awareness of a seventh-round rookie. It was as if Tannehill was completely incapable of feeling pressure. Coach Adam Gase did a bafflingly-poor job of rectifying the situation with rollouts, etc., but Tannehill simply has to be better five years into his career. He'll be flirting with a benching if he continues to play like this. Tannehill will be a last-gasp QB2 against the Titans in Week 5.
