The Cowboys reportedly believe fifth-round pick Joseph Randle can be a "full-time back" if DeMarco Murray suffers another injury.

Also injury prone in college, Murray has missed nine games through two NFL seasons. While we weren't fans of Randle's college tape -- he is straight-linish and not particularly elusive or explosive -- he's going to be a worthy handcuff for drafters of Murray. Randle can get what's blocked and catch the ball.

ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports the Rams hope to trade Nick Foles.

Per Wagoner, 4-5 teams have reached out, but a deal could depend on how the draft unfolds. If Foles can't be moved for a day three pick, he will be released.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Ravens are a "suprise team" for Ezekiel Elliott, and will "strongly consider" the Ohio State runner at No. 6 overall.

Consider us deeply skeptical. Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome is one of the best in the business, and hasn't picked inside the top 10 since 2003. It's almost impossible to believe he would use the pick on a running back, especially with so many glaring needs on defense. This is likely just an effort on someone's part to get a desperate team to trade up for the Buckeye.

A source with knowledge of the Cowboys' draft deliberations told PFT the team is "struggling" with whether to draft Ezekiel Elliott at No. 4.

It's believed owner Jerry Jones is the driving force for Dallas to draft Zeke. As Mike Florio puts it, Ol' Jer "has a much stronger 'win now' vibe than others in the organization," like VP Stephen Jones and personnel man Will McClay. Elliott will certainly be there at the No. 4 pick. Whether the Cowboys ultimately select him will remain a mystery for several more hours. If the Chargers take Jalen Ramsey at No. 3, our money would be on Dallas pulling the trigger on Elliott.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Browns will "look hard" at Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell.

That's if they trade back from No. 8 overall, which is considered a real possibility. Wide receiver is a dire need for the tanking Browns. Treadwell's on-field reputation has taken a few knocks this spring, but he still has a strong claim to being the draft's top wideout.

Reporting live from Chargers headquarters, NFL Network's Jeff Chadiha said he thinks San Diego will draft Jalen Ramsey at No. 3 overall.

It seemed clear Chadiha was guessing, but he is at the team facility and presumably having conversations with team officials. Ramsey hasn't been a particularly common pick for San Diego in mock drafts. Most have projected DeForest Buckner or Ronnie Stanley to the Chargers at 3. If the Bolts do go with Ramsey, the tea leaves suggest Ezekiel Elliott would land in Dallas. The Cowboys are rumored to have Zeke above Joey Bosa on their board.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Thursday that free agent Ryan Fitzpatrick has told people he would "rather not play football" than play for the Jets at their latest contract offer.

It's believed Gang Green offered Fitzpatrick a deal worth $7-8 million annually, while FitzMagic has demanded a contract worth upwards of $16 million per year. Fitzpatrick feels low balled and disrespected by the Jets, who want to retain him but are restricted by the salary cap. They could lessen their cap restrictions by trading franchise-tagged Muhammad Wilkerson this weekend.

FOX Sports' Alex Marvez reports the Chargers won't be taking Notre Dame OT Ronnie Stanley with the No. 3 overall pick.

It's looking more and more like the Bolts are zeroed in on Oregon DE DeForest Buckner, though Florida State DB Jalen Ramsey is also a possibility. The Bolts have major needs on both lines, but it's more urgent on defense. San Diego could field a quality offensive line if the unit in place simply gets better injury luck.

Raiders owner Mark Davis says the team "will be the Las Vegas Raiders" if the city comes through.

"We have made a commitment to Las Vegas and that's where it stands," Davis said. "If Las Vegas can come through ... we'll be the Las Vegas Raiders. I have never used a city as a bargaining chip. This is real." There's no ambiguity in Davis' words, suggesting it's more than just a leverage play. Davis says the team is ready to contribute $500 million if the city approves a stadium plan. If it's not already too late, it's beginning to look like now-or-never for the city of Oakland.

Appearing on SportsCenter, ESPN's Adam Schefter and Todd McShay agreed that UCLA LB Myles Jack's draft sweet spot is from the Saints at No. 12 overall to the Falcons at No. 17.

However, ESPN's Bob Holtzman -- who is reporting live from 49ers headquarters -- believes Jack is also a "strong possibility" to land in San Francisco. The Niners draft seventh overall, perhaps enlarging Jack's sweet spot. While there no longer seems to be a realistic chance Jack goes in the top-five picks, it does now seem likely that his wait won't last until the draft's second day.

Citing "seven teams," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Alabama ILB Reggie Ragland has been medically flagged for an "enlarged aorta."

The aorta is the body's main artery. Per RapSheet, Ragland's defect is "not expected to alter his football career," but "some teams have pushed him down a bit." Ragland's draft sweet spot is believed to be somewhere in the late teens to the back end of the first round. Rotoworld's Josh Norris has mocked Ragland to Atlanta at No. 17. Rotoworld's Evan Silva has him going 27th to Green Bay.

NFL Network's Mike Mayock suggested Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith (knee) could slip to the late third or fourth round.

"He's such a great kid that somebody is going to draft him," Mayock said. "If Jaylon went with a third- or fourth-round compensatory pick, it wouldn't surprise me at all. ... I don't think anybody knows where he's going to go." Not expected to play during the 2016 season -- with serious questions about his playing longevity beyond that -- Smith warrants nothing more than a day three or perhaps late-day-two flyer. He'll spend his rookie year on the reserve/NFI list.
