There was "no doubt" that Joe Flacco's favorite target during offseason practices was Dennis Pitta.

Per the Ravens' official site, "pitching the ball to Pitta almost seems to be Flacco's default mode now." It's exactly what we expected following the Anquan Boldin trade. Pitta is a gifted route-runner, more than capable of playing the move tight end spot and working in the same areas Boldin did. Over the final 12 games of last year (including playoffs), Pitta posted 43 catches for 513 yards and eight touchdowns on just 5.0 targets per game. That target count is going to spike this season, making him a sneaky strong TE1 option. It doesn't hurt that Pitta and Flacco are best friends off the field.

Jerick McKinnon (back) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.

McKinnon hasn't practiced at all this week. As a rookie who doesn't practice during the week, we'd say he's probably on the wrong side of questionable-to-doubtful for Week 13 against the Panthers. If McKinnon can't go, the Vikings will throw something together with Matt Asiata, Joe Banyard, and Ben Tate.
Nov 28 - 12:35 PM

Roddy White (ankle) is questionable for Week 13 against the Cardinals.

White played his normal complement of snaps last week but hasn't practiced at all this week. On Friday, he was one the field without his helmet and limited to stretching and individual drills. White was already set for a tough matchup against Patrick Peterson and Antonio Cromartie. He's more of a WR3 than WR2.
Nov 28 - 12:13 PM

Larry Fitzgerald (knee) said he's "highly likely" to play Week 13 against the Falcons.

Fitzgerald sat out the Week 12 loss to the Seahawks and has yet to practice this week on his sprained MCL, typically a 2-4 week injury. He worked out on the side at Thursday's practice, and said he was "optimistic" about his chances of suiting up Sunday. We'd like to see him practice Friday.
Nov 28 - 9:05 AM

Colin Kaepernick completed 16-of-29 passes for 121 yards and two interceptions in the 49ers' Thanksgiving night loss to the Seahawks.

The numbers were actually worse than that, as Kaepernick had just 90 yards passing before a meaningless final drive. It was a dreadful performance for Kaepernick. He was too quick to abandon the pocket and missed badly on several throws. The worst throw of the night was Kaepernick's first interception, which instead of hitting an open Brandon Lloyd on the back shoulder Kaepernick threw up the field into the waiting arms of Richard Sherman. Kaepernick has not scored multiple touchdowns in a game since Week 6 and has not surpassed 15 fantasy points in any game over that span. He will not be a viable QB1 even in a good matchup Week 14 against the Raiders.
Nov 27 - 11:37 PM

LeSean McCoy had 25 carries for 159 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's Week 13 win over the Cowboys.

He wasn't targeted in the pass game, and also lost a fumble. The Eagles rested McCoy in the fourth quarter, giving Chris Polk 11 carries in mop-up duty. He was able to pick up big gains against a Cowboys defense that was playing without MLB Rolando McClain for most of the first half. McCoy took an inside draw 38 yards for his touchdown. He's now rushed for 100 yards in back-to-back games and is on pace for a 323/1,357/5 line this season. McCoy will remain a locked-in RB1 despite a matchup with Seattle in Week 14.
Nov 27 - 8:29 PM

Joique Bell rushed 23 times for 91 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions' Week 13 win over the Bears, adding two catches for an additional 16 yards.

The rushing yards were Bell's most of the season, while the two-TD effort was his first of 2014. Bell continued to look slippery, getting around the edge and fitting through tight spaces for extra yards. His play has come on at the right time for Detroit. Bell will remain the RB2 conversation for the fantasy playoffs, as the Lions have an unusually soft schedule.
Nov 27 - 4:07 PM

Alshon Jeffery caught 9-of-13 targets for 71 yards and two touchdowns in Chicago's Week 13 loss to the Lions.

Jeffery was a rare bright spot for the non-competitive Bears, often running free over the middle of the field. Both of his scores came in the first quarter, but a dinking and dunking Bears team couldn't drive the ball for the game's final 45 minutes. Now up to 67/854/7 on the season, Jeffery is on pace for 89/1,139/9. The seven scores are already as many as Jeffery had in 2013.
Nov 27 - 4:02 PM

Calvin Johnson caught 11-of-16 targets for 146 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions' Week 13 rout of the Bears.

It was just too easy for Megatron, who feasted on Bears rookie CB Kyle Fuller all afternoon long. Johnson split Fuller and S Brock Vereen for his first score, and pasted Fuller in the end zone for his second. Johnson was running free over the middle of the field all afternoon long. Locked and loaded for the stretch run, Johnson is going to be a beast for the fantasy playoffs as Detroit makes its way through a soft schedule.
Nov 27 - 3:55 PM

Matthew Stafford completed 34-of-45 passes for 390 yards and two touchdowns in Detroit's 34-17, Week 13 win over the Bears.

Stafford and the Lions walked all over the pathetic Bears, with Stafford rolling up 275 yards and both of his scores before halftime. The game wasn't in doubt after the first quarter. Stafford got off to a shaky start, sloppily sidearming his first pass attempt for a third-down incompletion, but was in the zone thereafter, finding Calvin Johnson 11 times for 146 yards and two touchdowns. Stafford's trust of Megatron in tight coverage is steely. With today arguably the best game of his season, Stafford now gets three more cakewalk matchups for the fantasy playoffs. He'll be an every-week QB1 down the stretch.
Nov 27 - 3:51 PM

Dwayne Allen (ankle) remained sidelined on Thursday.

Allen's odds of returning for Week 13 are appearing lower by the day. A Friday return would change that, but even then, Allen would be no better than 50-50. Owners need to be making other plans.
Nov 27 - 2:40 PM

Jordan Cameron (concussion) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

Cameron has yet to gain final clearance for Sunday's game against the Bills, but continues to trend in the right direction. Cameron's season has been an injury-plagued disaster, but he'll immediately rejoin the TE1 conversation if he gets the green light for Week 13.
