Terrelle Pryor completed 7-of-9 passes for 93 yards and a touchdown, and rushed four times for 37 yards and a second score in the Raiders' third preseason game Friday night versus the Bears.

Keep in mind Pryor was playing mostly Bears backups, but he at least showed an ability to move the offense whereas Matt Flynn is a painfully poor fit for Oakland's wretched personnel. Through three preseason games, Pryor is 14-of-24 passing (58.3 percent) for 190 yards (7.92 YPA), one touchdown, and a pick. He's rushed for 83 yards on 11 scrambles. While Pryor's mechanics and accuracy are poor, the Raiders are going to have to give real consideration to starting him early in the season. Flynn will not last.

Maurice Jones-Drew played just one series in Friday's preseason game against the Packers, rushing three times for 45 yards with a touchdown.

Jones-Drew started and got every snap on his only series. He capped it by impressively jump-cutting into a hole, breaking two tackles and then turning on the jets to outrun the defense for a 40-yard score. Jones-Drew, who has 11 carries for 67 yards with one touchdown and three catches for 36 yards this preseason, is locked in as the starter ahead of Darren McFadden. There's a smidge of low-upside value in his seventh-round ADP.

Rueben Randle caught 2-of-4 targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Friday's regular-season dress rehearsal.

He was a bright spot for the dysfunctional Giants, showing excellent body control on a 26-yard catch near the sideline before running an excellent route on his 15-yard score. Almost certainly done for the preseason, the Giants' only legitimate red-zone threat finishes with three catches for 53 yards and a score. Currently the WR42, Randle is a value pick in fantasy leagues.

Eli Manning completed 12-of-21 passes for 139 yards and a touchdown in Friday's preseason game against the Jets, also fumbling twice.

The G-Men recovered both fumbles. Manning almost tossed several picks, one of which was a horrid number thrown into double coverage from short distance for absolutely no reason. Thankfully for the Giants, Jets CB Kyle Wilson couldn't keep both feet in bounds. As was the case in 2013, Manning had very little time to throw. If there was good news, it was his connection with Rueben Randle, whom he found for a touchdown and an impressive 26-yard play down the sideline. Manning closes out August 19-of-37 for 188 yards (5.08 YPA), one touchdown and zero picks. With the G-Men's offense looking every bit as dysfunctional as it was last season, Manning is a risky QB2 until further notice.

Geno Smith completed 9-of-14 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown in Friday's preseason game against the Giants.

He added three scrambles for 17 yards. It was the best we've seen Smith look, as he was calm in the pocket and laser accurate with his throws. Granted, the G-Men's defense looked as bad as the Jets' offense looked good. Almost certainly done for the preseason, Smith finishes 23-of-33 for 268 yards (8.12 YPA), one touchdown and one interception. Despite the solid summer, he's a low-end QB2 until proven otherwise in the regular season.

Eddie Lacy played just one series in Friday's preseason game against the Raiders, rushing six times for 36 yards with a touchdown.

Lacy was nothing short of dominant. The Packers' ran no-huddle exclusively on their opening drive, and Lacy showed his improved versatility by never leaving the field -- even on third downs. The Raiders were no match for his physicality as he ran through arm tackles and punctuated the seven-play drive with a 1-yard touchdown plunge. Lacy only played 19 snaps this preseason, but totaled 11 carries for 61 yards (5.54 YPC) and two catches for 22 yards. We would not let him get past the No. 5 overall pick in any format. This is a grown man that's going to eat in one of the league's most explosive offenses.

Giants LG Geoff Schwartz was forced from Friday's preseason game against the Jets with a dislocated toe.

Schwartz couldn't put any weight on his right foot as he was loaded onto a cart. A toe issue is obviously preferable to a foot or ankle, but it could still be a long-term injury. It's the last thing the Giants' beleaguered offensive line needs. On paper, Schwartz is the G-Men's second-best lineman after RT Justin Pugh. Eli Manning was running for his life even before Schwartz's injury.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports there will be no decision on Josh Gordon's suspension appeal this week.

Per FOX Sports' Mike Garofolo, the NFL Players Union and Gordon's reps were expecting a decision by the end of this week. RapSheet says one isn't coming, however. The holdup is believed to be due to a high volume of testimony on both sides stemming from Gordon's latest failed drug test. Gordon failed several drug tests in college, as well. He'll remain in limbo until appeals officer Harold Henderson makes a decision. Hopefully, it'll happen next week.

Dolphins waived TE Michael Egnew.

One of ex-GM Jeff Ireland's seemingly countless misfires, Egnew was exposed as a product of Mizzou's spread offense quickly after the Dolphins made him a top-80 pick in the 2012 draft. It's particularly telling that the new Dolphins regime saw more potential in Arthur Lynch, Gator Hoskins, and Brett Brackett.

NFL suspended Chiefs RT Donald Stephenson four games for violating the league's policy against performance-enhancing drugs.

Stephenson was a below-average starter to begin with, but it's still a big hit to an already shaky Kansas City line. LT Eric Fisher has been pulverized in preseason games after a rough rookie year, while the Chiefs' interior line isn't much better. In Zach Fulton, Kansas City has a sixth-round rookie penned in at right guard. Line-play differential is one reason to support LeSean McCoy over Jamaal Charles as the No. 1 overall pick in 2014 fantasy drafts.

Coach Lovie Smith called Doug Martin the Bucs' "bell cow" at running back.

"With Mike James going down with an injury and with Charles Sims going down, Doug is our bell cow," Smith said. "He likes that role. He's had a good camp, hasn't missed a beat. He's going to rush for a lot of yards for us this year." Martin's had a quiet summer, leading some to believe he's more RB2 than RB1, but he's the lead dog in an offense that projects to lean heavily on its run game. We think Martin has tremendous value at his current early-third-round ADP. The offensive line being able to open holes consistently is a major question mark.

Giants undrafted WRs Corey Washington and Marcus Harris are expected to get some work with the first-team offense in Friday's fourth preseason game.

It's expected to come at the expense of Jerrel Jernigan, who is in danger of being cut. Washington has been the Giants' best receiver this summer, reeling in all seven of his targets for 116 yards and three scores. Washington is fully expected to make the 53-man roster. Harris is likely competing with Mario Manningham.
