Lions signed RB Steven Miller to the practice squad.

An undersized scatback, Miller could eventually get a look as a return man.

Aaron Rodgers completed 15-of-24 passes for 205 yards and four touchdowns in the Packers' Week 3 win over the Lions.

Rodgers did almost all of his damage in the first half, completing just three passes after the break. He was able to take the second half off because of the massive 31-10 halftime lead built on the back of his four touchdown strikes. The offense looked to be in vintage form early, with Rodgers primarily getting the ball out quickly and on schedule but still showing the ability to make plays out of the pocket, as he did on a long gain to Randall Cobb on the first drive and an eight-yard touchdown to Jordy Nelson on the second possession. Six of the Packers' first seven possessions ended in scores, and the seventh was stopped by halftime. Even against a defense struggling with injuries, it was an impressive performance by the entire offense. Rodgers will be a must-start against the Giants following the Packers' Week 4 bye.

Marvin Jones caught 6-of-8 targets for 205 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions' Week 3 loss to the Packers.

Jones easily found space down the right sideline all game. He got open against tough coverage for a 38-yard gain in the second quarter, found the soft spot in the Packers’ zone coverage for several chunk gains, stiff-armed a stumbling corner to the ground for a 73-yard touchdown late in the first half, and got the Lions within one score late in the fourth with a 35-yard touchdown. The Lions could not complete the comeback, but it was not for lack of effort from Jones. He blew past his previous career-high in yardage, and an even bigger day bounced off his hands on a diving attempt in the end zone. Jones has proven himself to be the clear No. 1 in Detroit. He will be a borderline WR1 next week against the Bears.

Antonio Gates (hamstring) is inactive for Week 3 against the Colts.

Rookie Hunter Henry will get the start and play virtually every down against the Colts' awful tight end defense. Also inactive for the Chargers are LT King Dunlap (illness), SS Jahleel Addae, NT Ryan Carrethers, LB Joshua Perry, C Max Tuerk, and DE Joey Bosa. Bosa's debut will have to wait.
Sep 25 - 3:08 PM

Andrew Luck (shoulder) is active for Week 3 against the Chargers.

As expected. Despite being listed questionable, Luck was never in doubt. T.Y. Hilton (knee) is also active and starting. Inactive for the Colts are WR Donte Moncrief (shoulder blade), CB Darius Butler, CB Patrick Robinson, OT Le'Raven Clark, OG Denzelle Good, WR Devin Street, and NT T.Y. McGill.
Sep 25 - 3:05 PM

Brandon Marshall (knee, foot) is officially active for Week 3 against the Chiefs.

Marshall is expected to be on a snap count, but he should see plenty of work on third downs and especially in the red zone. Those high-value snaps keep him in the WR2 conversation despite the limited work. New York declared ILB Erin Henderson, QB Bryce Petty, QB Christian Hackenberg, RB Troymaine Pope, CB Darryl Roberts, LB Mike Catapano, and OT Brandon Shell inactive for Week 3.
Sep 25 - 3:01 PM

Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise are both inactive for Week 3 against the 49ers.

As was reported would be the case this morning. The Seahawks will have Alex Collins up behind Christine Michael, who should operate as Seattle's every-down back. The rest of the Seahawks' Week 3 inactives are OG Rees Odhiambo, SS Tyvis Powell, DT Quinton Jefferson, TE Nick Vannett, and OG Germain Ifedi.

Jared Cook suffered a right ankle injury Week 3 against the Lions.

He suffered the injury on a drop near the end zone in the second quarter, which is about as Jared Cook as a play can be. The Packers are calling the issue an ankle injury, but Cook had surgery on his right foot in June. He was ruled out after halftime. Cook had 1 catch for 15 yards before exiting.

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports Julio Jones (calf, questionable) was a full-go in Sunday's walkthrough.

Coach Dan Quinn reportedly told Glazer the Falcons expect Jones to play Monday night against the Saints, but they will test him again before the game. All signs have pointed to Jones being active this week, and this news just solidifies his status. He is an elite WR1.
Sep 25 - 12:54 PM

Chris Ivory (illness) is active for Week 3 against the Ravens.

Ivory is finally ready to make his Jaguars debut after missing the first two games with what the team is calling a "general medical issue." He won't see a full workload in his first game back but Ivory is still the favorite for goal-line carries. That makes him a touchdown-or-bust RB3. Obviously Ivory's return will put a major dent in T.J. Yeldon's fantasy value.
Sep 25 - 11:54 AM

Redskins declared WR Josh Doctson (Achilles') inactive for Week 3 against the Giants.

Rashad Ross was originally listed as inactive, but he will be up instead of Doctson. NFL Network's Kimberly Jones reports Doctson's Achilles' did not feel good in warmups after being limited all week in practice. It does not sound like he suffered a setback, but his practice participation should be closely monitored this week.

Matt Asiata has been announced as the Vikings' Week 3 starter at running back.

We still think Jerick McKinnon will lead Minnesota's backfield in touches, but it's indicative of the faith the Vikings have in short-yardage plodder Asiata. He'll get the goal-line carries. McKinnon is a borderline RB2, Asiata a low-upside RB3.
