NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Broncos plan to use a running back by committee on a "drive-by-drive" basis.

As opposed to a "play-by-play" basis, the "drive-by-drive" formula will allow Ronnie Hillman, Montee Ball, and Knowshon Moreno to "stay in" and "go fast" in the Broncos' hurry-up attack. Hillman is expected to get the "start" on Thursday, but it's anyone's guess who will end up leading the backfield in touches against the Ravens. Our money's on Ball. As our own Evan Silva noted in his "Matchups" column, it's best to take a wait-and-see approach for the opener.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Sterling Shepard (questionable, illness) is dealing with migraines.

Shepard was added to the injury report on Saturday with an undisclosed illness, which has now been confirmed as migraines. He's still considered a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt versus Kansas City, though ESPN's Adam Schefter reported earlier that Shepard will likely be inactive. Impressive rookie Evan Engram would remain Eli Manning's go-to receiver if the migraines prevent Shepard from suiting up.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms Cowboys LT Tyron Smith (questionable, back, groin) won't play Week 11 against the Eagles.

This confirms an earlier report from Rapoport's NFL Network colleague, Jane Slater. Smith was surprisingly listed as questionable for Sunday night's game, though he was always a long shot to play after sitting out practice all week. Byron Bell will spell Smith at left tackle against the Eagles. The Cowboys are hoping he'll be an improvement on Chaz Green, who was thoroughly dominated by Adrian Clayborn (six sacks) in last week's loss to Atlanta. Consider Smith week-to-week.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Jaguars are "optimistic" Leonard Fournette (questionable, ankle) will play Week 11 against the Browns.

The plan is for Fournette to test out his ankle during pre-game warmups, though the Jags think he'll be a go for Sunday's 1 PM ET kickoff in Cleveland. Fournette didn't look right in last week's win over the Chargers and drew the questionable tag after sitting out Friday's practice. Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon would handle the backfield work if Fournette sits another week. It would be his third absence in four games.
Nov 19 - 8:04 AM

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Jaguars are "non-committal" on Leonard Fournette (ankle) playing Week 11 against the Browns.

Schefter reports the team will have Fournette test out his ankle pregame, making him a true game-time decision. Likely to beat the Browns regardless, it would not be surprising if Jacksonville decides to play it safe with their best offensive player. Both Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon will be usable if Fournette sits, but Ivory will be the better fantasy bet.
Nov 19 - 1:44 AM

John Brown (back) is expected to play Week 11 against the Texans.

Brown appeared to be truly questionable after sitting out Thursday's practice and getting in just a limited session on Friday, but it looks like he will give it a go. He has a great matchup against the Texans, but Brown has not done much of fantasy note since Carson Palmer went down.
Nov 19 - 1:37 AM

Alshon Jeffery (ankle) is expected to play Week 11 against the Cowboys.

He never appeared to be in real doubt despite being added to the injury report on Thursday. Coming off back-to-back good fantasy outings, Jeffery will be a solid WR2 in a pretty good matchup.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Sterling Shepard (illness) is unlikely to play against the Chiefs after being added to the injury report on Saturday, but will go through pre-game warmups before reaching a final determination.

Unbelievable. The Giants' highly-targeted fill-in No. 1 receiver was in golden position for a big day against the Chiefs' sieve-like defense. Now, even if he plays, fantasy owners will have to be leery after the late-week machinations. Shepard's absence would also put a huge dent in Eli Manning's streamer appeal. Tavarres King and Roger Lewis will vie for "No. 1" status if Shepard indeed sits. The only good news is that Giants/Chiefs kicks off at 1PM ET, meaning owners will know Shepard's status when setting their lineups.

Pewter Report’s Scott Reynolds believes there’s "interest on both sides" between the Bucs and Jon Gruden.

Gruden has been broadcasting with ESPN since getting fired from Tampa in 2008. He’s turned down multiple offers from teams, but hasn’t ruled out a return to coaching. With Dirk Koetter on the hot seat, it’s possible the Bucs reunite with Gruden after the season. Tampa has a franchise quarterback in Jameis Winston and a playoff-caliber roster. There are behind-the-scene rumors the Bucs are the job Gruden wants.

Multiple league sources tell The Ringer’s Mike Lombardi that Bucs coach Dirk Koetter’s job is in jeopardy.

"I think we can officially put Dirk Koetter on the hot seat. Nobody outside the NFL is talking about it, but everybody I talk to in the NFL is and they think it’s going to end up being over for Koetter if he doesn’t get this turned around." The Bucs have lost 5-of-6 games and are averaging nine points over the last three weeks. It’s a huge disappointment given Tampa’s roster and expectations going into the season. Barring a strong finish, Koetter looks unlikely to be back in 2018.

Eddie Lacy (groin) has been removed from the Week 11 injury report.

Lacy is ready to return after sitting out last week. The Seahawks were moving away from a committee before Lacy went down so he should resume lead duties, though it won't be surprising if Thomas Rawls mixes on early downs. Lacy is an RB3 for Monday night's matchup with the Falcons.
Nov 18 - 4:16 PM

Devonta Freeman (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 11 against Seattle.

This was expected after Freeman missed practice all week. Tevin Coleman will start and is in line for a heavy workload. Freeman should have a good chance to return in Week 12.
