Dez Bryant (foot) was participating in the early part of Cowboys practice Wednesday.

Bryant will end up as a "limited" participant, but his ability to even get some work in just three days after his foot sprain is extremely promising. Perhaps he'll be closer to 100 percent than we originally envisioned. It's already been repeatedly reported that the Cowboys fully expect him to be in the starting lineup when they take on the Chiefs Sunday.

Ben Watson (knee) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice.

Watson is suddenly looking quite shaky for Sunday's game in Minnesota. Even if Watson does manage to suit up, he will be a last-gasp TE2.

Mike Wallace (back) was sidelined at Thursday's practice.

It's a downgrade after Wallace was limited on Wednesday. It throws his Week 7 status into question, though it's possible the Ravens are just managing their 31-year-old receiver's reps. We should have a firm idea of Wallace's status by the time the Ravens release their Friday injury report.
Oct 19 - 1:08 PM

Stefon Diggs (groin) said it is up in the air if he plays Week 7 against the Ravens.

Considering players are usually overly optimistic about their injuries, this is not a good sign for his availability, especially after he sat out Wednesday's practice. Diggs is at best questionable to face the Ravens. Even in a tough matchup, Adam Thielen will be a high-end WR2 if Diggs sits.
Oct 19 - 12:55 PM

Colts OC Rob Chudzinski said Marlon Mack will get more touches with Robert Turbin (elbow) out for the season.

Before Mack truthers get too excited, the coaching staff said all last week they planned to get the rookie more work before he saw two carries against the Titans. Mack almost has to see more touches with Turbin out, however, and Chudzinski said he would have gotten more carries Monday night had a few RPOs played out differently. Mack has a good matchup this week against a Jaguars defense which has given up some long runs, but he will be just a hopeful FLEX until we see him actually get the work.
Oct 19 - 12:44 PM

Teddy Bridgewater "definitely" believes he will play this season.

Bridgewater said he "didn't feel rusty" in his return to practice Wednesday and is "very confident" in the health of his knee. Bridgewater is not going to play on Sunday against the Ravens and could need a couple weeks to get up to speed, but it continues to look like he will make starts this year. Owners in deep two-quarterback leagues should look at stashing him on the bench.
Oct 19 - 12:35 PM

ESPN's Cameron Wolfe reports Corey Davis (hamstring) will not play Week 7 against the Browns.

With a team they should be able to handle next on the schedule and a bye after that, the Titans will take it easy on their rookie receiver, allowing him to get fully healthy before putting him back in the lineup. Davis should be ready to go against the Ravens in Week 9, but after missing five games, his target share is an open question. He is just a bench stash for the time being.

Dolphins OC Clyde Christensen said the team is "holding out hope" DeVante Parker (ankle) will play against the Jets.

Parker sat out Wednesday's practice, and Christensen seems to be more wishing than predicting the receiver will be able to play this week. In fact, the coordinator said the team is game-planning as if Parker will not be available. As of now, he should be considered doubtful to face the Jets.
Oct 19 - 11:59 AM

Jordan Matthews (thumb) is practicing Thursday.

He was limited during Wednesday's practice, and he likely will be again Thursday. Matthews appears to be trending toward playing this week, but he had still yet to catch passes with his surgically-repaired right hand on Monday. He looks truly questionable. Matthews playing would be a big boost for Tyrod Taylor.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: Since 2016, the Bills have averaged 29.3 points at the Ralph, 11.4 points more than on the road. As expected, QB Tyrod Taylor's numbers jump in Buffalo as well. He averages 24.1 PPR points at home compared to 16.5 on the road in large part due to increased TD production - 1.6 per game at home, 0.7 away. With Charles Clay out and the rest of the receivers under-performing, Matthews would have a good shot at coming down with a TD vs. a Tampa D allowing the 6th-most passing scores per game (2.0). It's possible he's limited if he suits up though, so he'll be worth tracking into Sunday
Oct 19 - 11:57 AM

Sterling Shepard (ankle) is practicing Thursday.

Shepard said he expects to play against the Seahawks, and he certainly seems on track after two practices in a row. Even in a bad matchup, Shepard is on the WR3 map as the only real option at receiver for the Giants.
Oct 19 - 11:54 AM

Bilal Powell (calf) did not practice Thursday.

It is his second missed practice in a row, making it highly unlikely he returns this week. Matt Forte will once again handle the load against the Dolphins.
Oct 19 - 11:35 AM

Marqise Lee (knee) is not expected to practice Thursday.

It is his second missed practice in a row. Lee almost certainly needs to get in some work Friday to suit up against the Colts. Allen Hurns would see more targets if Lee is forced to sit.
