Darren McFadden had his best game in ages in Oakland's Week 2 win over the Jaguars, rushing 19 times for 129 yards, while adding four catches for 28 yards.

McFadden took full advantage of the seams created by Jacksonville's fear of Terrelle Pryor's legs, averaging 6.8 yards per pop in just his fourth 100-yard rushing effort since Week 1, 2012. That is not to say he didn't earn his yards, however. DMC ran like the angry runner of his prime, hitting the hole fast and furious. The 129 yards were his most since September 25, 2011. The only blemish was a fourth-quarter fumble, though the game was already in hand. It was a much-needed day for exasperated McFadden fantasy owners, though things shouldn't be nearly as rosy when the Raiders travel to Denver next Sunday.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports "it would be a surprise" if 49ers GM Trent Baalke was retained after the season.

According to La Canfora, coach Chip Kelly's future will be determined by the new front office. Baalke deserves some credit for being part of the team which hired Jim Harbaugh, but he inherited a roster on the rise from Scot McCloughan in 2010. Since then, he has managed to run Harbaugh, one of the best coaches in football, out of town while letting the roster devolve into arguably the worst in the league. Baalke's relationship with owner Jed York is the only reason he has kept his job this long. The 49ers need a big shakeup in the front office this offseason.

ESPN Redskins reporter John Keim expects Kirk Cousins to take "a lot of shots down the field" this week against the Eagles.

Cousins had a 145.0 passer rating on throws of 10 yards or more in his first meeting with the Eagles, and the Redskins' improved running game should allow for more shot plays off play action. The #RevengeGame narrative for DeSean Jackson might actually have some legs in this one. Both he and Cousins are solid plays this week.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Eric Ebron (knee) is expected to play Week 14 against the Bears.

Ebron was limited all week by a knee injury, but there was never much concern about his status. After three straight 70-yard games coming back from injury, Ebron has just four catches for 38 yards total in the last two weeks. That inconsistency makes him tough to trust in the first week of the fantasy playoffs, but he does have a good matchup against a Bears defense missing both of their inside linebackers.
Dec 11 - 7:54 AM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports WLB DeAndre Levy (questionable, knee) "may not be ready" to return Sunday.

Levy was trending toward playing but there's no guarantee he'll be active after missing the last three months. It sounds like the Lions want to see how Levy looks in pre-game warmups. Levy will be on a snap count if he plays.
Dec 11 - 7:54 AM

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Marvin Jones (quad) is expected to play Week 14 against the Bears.

Jones looked to be on track after practicing all week. Even though he will play, Jones has topped 60 yards once since Week 4 and has not scored since Week 6. Against an underrated secondary, he is nothing more than a dart-throw WR4.
Dec 11 - 7:50 AM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Chris Ivory (questionable, hamstring) is expected to miss Sunday's game.

There was speculation Ivory wouldn't play when Jacksonville promoted RB Bronson Hill from the practice squad. Ivory will miss his second straight game despite returning to a limited practice week. T.J. Yeldon is locked into an every-down role against the Vikings.
Dec 11 - 6:24 AM

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms Trevor Siemian (questionable, foot) will start Sunday against the Titans.

Siemian split practice reps with Paxton Lynch this week. He was cleared after making it through Saturday's walkthrough. Siemian's return upgrades Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.

Ryan Mathews (questionable, knee) will play in Sunday's game against the Redskins.

Mathews wasn't in doubt after coach Doug Pederson said he was "ready to go" earlier this week. He'll have a lead role against Washington but doesn't project for a huge workload coming off injury. Mathews isn't more than a FLEX play in his return.
Dec 11 - 6:05 AM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Falcons will wait until pre-game warmups to make a decision on Julio Jones (questionable, toe).

The Falcons aren't expecting Jones to play but the door isn't fully closed after he made it through Saturday's walkthrough. It's a worst-case scenario with Atlanta on a late game this week. The latest reports suggest Jones isn't going to be active. Jones could have a limited role if he plays.
Dec 11 - 5:40 AM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Mark Ingram (toe/knee, questionable) is expected to play in Week 14 at Tampa Bay.

Ingram took Thursday's practice off, but he turned in "limited" sessions on Wednesday and Friday and was always seen as likely to play. Ingram played through his toe injury in Week 13 and left the field at one point, but returned. Per Rapoport, Ingram "should be moving better" in this week's game against the Bucs.
