ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on NFL Live Malcom Floyd (neck) is "unlikely" to play in Week 3 at Tennessee.

In other words, Eddie Royal could continue to pile up targets in the slot. Floyd was replaced at X receiver by rookie Keenan Allen against the Eagles, and Allen managed two receptions for 34 yards on three targets. Floyd is an injured WR4/5, which makes him droppable for owners in 10-team leagues. 12-teamers can consider parting with Floyd, as well, in favor of higher-upside fliers.

Donte Moncrief caught 6-of-7 targets for 58 yards in the Colts' third preseason game.

His lone missed target came on a miscommunication in the end zone with Scott Tolzien. Crief was on point with Andrew Luck, catching five balls for 52 yards in the first half alone. Crief's best catch came on a deep ball from Luck, gaining 26 yards. Moncrief is primed for third-year liftoff in Indy.

Latavius Murray rushed twice for zero yards and caught two passes for 19 yards Saturday against the Titans.

With the Raiders looking to get both DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard work with the first-team offense, Murray spent much of the first half on the bench. He did return for the two-minute drill, suggesting the Raiders still expect him to be the lead back. It is concerning he lost red-zone work to both Jamize Olawale and Washington, who caught a six-yard touchdown. Murray should enter the season as the starter, but he could be on a short leash.

Eagles second-year WR Nelson Agholor missed his lone target in Saturday night's third preseason game.

Not only did Agholor miss it, he let it clang off his hands and into the arms of Colts CB Darius Butler for a pick. Although coach Doug Pederson tried talking up Agholor late this week, the attempted injection of confidence didn't translate to the game. Agholor's role when the season opens is unclear. Jordan Matthews (knee) will be back and Agholor may be a rotational player only.

Delanie Walker left the Titans' third preseason game after the first quarter with an apparent illness.

CBS Sports' Tracy Wolfson reports Walker "didn't feel right" and "couldn't catch his breath." He walked back into the locker room and is officially questionable to return. Walker played a few snaps but was not targeted before exiting. The issue does not appear serious right now, but it is a situation to monitor.

Eagles rookie Wendell Smallwood left Saturday's third preseason game with a head injury.

He's presumably being tested for a concussion. Before going down, Smallwood worked as the Eagles' No. 4 back behind Ryan Mathews, Darren Sproles, and Kenjon Barner. Smallwood had two carries for 11 yards and a five-yard catch prior to exiting. He may open the season on Philly's game-day inactives list.

Andrew Luck completed 13-of-18 passes for 134 yards in the Colts' third preseason game Saturday night.

He rushed once for two yards. The biggest takeaway from this game was the atrociousness of the Colts' offensive line, which gave up three sacks in two quarters and at least four more hits on Luck. Luck was efficient in the rare instances he had time to throw, hooking up with Donte Moncrief five times for 52 yards and T.Y. Hilton for 3-38 on five targets. Luck also found Josh Ferguson for 16 yards on a well-designed screen. Luck's protection remains an obstacle in his quest for a full-on rebound to his elite 2014 form.

Kenneth Dixon suffered a left knee sprain in Saturday's preseason game.

Dixon's knee bent awkwardly on a second quarter goal-line carry. He had to be helped off and was immediately taken to the locker room. Dixon was having a strong game before going down, rushing for 41 yards on six carries while playing with the first-team offense. Early signs suggest he avoided a serious injury, but there should be more on his status early next week.

Paxton Lynch will be the Broncos' No. 2 quarterback for Saturday's preseason game against the Rams.

Trevor Siemian will draw the start with Mark Sanchez slotting in as the third-string QB. The pieces of Denver's quarterback puzzle are starting to come together with Siemian the favorite to start Week 1 and Sanchez now fighting for his roster spot. Lynch has done some good things this preseason, completing 21-of-33 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns. He could put heat on Siemian with another strong showing on Saturday.

Ben Watson suffered a torn Achilles' in Saturday's preseason game.

Watson went down on the first play of the night. It's a huge blow to a pass game that relies heavily on tight ends. The Ravens could end up getting nothing on the two-year, $7 million deal they gave Watson this offseason. With Dennis Pitta and Maxx Williams sidelined, Baltimore is down to Crockett Gillmore.

49ers coach Chip Kelly continues to claim the team's quarterback competition remains open.

Blaine Gabbert has done nothing to run with the job, but Colin Kaepernick has somehow done even less. All signs have pointed to Gabbert under center for the opener for weeks now. Kap has seemed checked out of San Francisco since last season, and has seen his on-field performance deteriorate at an alarming rate. All he's really accomplished this summer is setting off constitutional debates on Twitter.

Rams signed WR Tavon Austin to a four-year, $42 million extension through 2021.

The deal includes a whopping $30 million guaranteed, a princely sum for a 5-foot-8 gadget player the Rams have desperately wishcasted as a No. 1 receiver since trading up for him in the 2013 draft. Austin is coming off a unique season where he eclipsed both 400 yards rushing and receiving, but simply isn't worthy of this kind of deal. The Rams under Jeff Fisher have a tendency to compound mistakes instead of trying to fix them. All that being said, despite now being overpaid, Austin is a useful real-life player who has WR4 appeal in fantasy. He is a legitimate playmaker. He's just not who the Rams are paying him to be.
