Coach Chuck Pagano said that newly acquired Trent Richardson will play in Sunday's game at San Francisco.

When asked how much Richardson will play in Week 3, Pagano said, "As much as he can handle." The Colts didn't give up a first-round pick to let Richardson idle behind Ahmad Bradshaw. The playbook at the running back position is among the easiest to pick up, meaning T-Rich could see the majority of early-down work right away. He does have a brutal matchup, but he's still on the flex radar. "This guy is a rolling ball of butcher knives," Pagano said of Richardson. "He fits our scheme to a T."

Knile Davis rushed 32 times for 132 yards and a touchdown as the Chiefs downed the Dolphins 34-15 in Week 3.

He did fumble twice, losing one. The Dolphins held Davis to 4.1 yards per carry, but fantasy owners using him were always hanging their hat on volume. And they got it, as Kansas City leaned on its running game while nursing a lead for almost the entire game. The 32-carry workload is a reminder that Davis remains the most valuable handcuff in all of fantasy. It was slightly disappointing, however, to see passing-game back Joe McKnight "vulture" two receiving scores in the red zone, and Cyrus Gray to execute a six-yard TD in fourth-quarter garbage time. Look for Jamaal Charles (ankle) to return to the lineup next week against New England.

Panthers declared DeAngelo Williams (thigh) and Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) inactive for Sunday night's Week 3 game against the Steelers.

It's a surprise as the Panthers repeatedly said they expected Williams to suit up. Instead, it'll be Jonathan Stewart as the starter and flex option in a plus matchup at home against a weak Pittsburgh defense. With Cotchery out, the Panthers' top-two wideouts will be Kelvin Benjamin and Jason Avant. The rest of their inactives: QB Joe Webb, S Tre Boston, RB Fozzy Whittaker, G Andrew Norwell and David OT Foucoult.

A source tells FOX Sports that Danny Woodhead will likely need season-ending surgery on his ankle.

Woodhead reportedly suffered a severe high ankle sprain with a fractured fibula during Sunday's Week 3 win at Buffalo. It's an underrated and major loss for the Chargers, especially with Ryan Mathews (knee) expected out another 3-4 weeks. Look for more heavy volume for Donald Brown, with Branden Oliver mixing in as well.

Coach Chuck Pagano said he doesn't think T.Y. Hilton's ankle injury is "too severe."

Hilton had five catches for 80 yards late in the second quarter when he went down. The Colts don't sound very concerned, hinting at a standard kind of sprain. Owners could protect themselves by adding Hakeem Nicks or Donte Moncrief.

Kyle Rudolph will have an MRI on his groin Monday.

Note that Rudolph was limited in practice this week due to an abdominal injury. It's unclear if the injury he suffered against the Saints is an aggravation. Rudolph did not look good before leaving, catching three passes for 27 yards on five targets.

Victor Cruz caught five passes for 107 yards and one touchdown in the Giants' Week 3 win over the Texans.

After a drop-filled first two weeks, Cruz reeled in 5-of-6 targets. He worked mostly against CB Kareem Jackson. Cruz took a quick slant upfield for a 61-yard gain in the first half, but was caught from behind around the 15-yard line. He later found the end zone on a post pattern from 26 yards out. Cruz stopped on a dime, changed direction, and exploded toward the end zone for the score. The Giants' passing game has found a bit of a rhythm the past two weeks. They'll look to continue it Thursday against the Redskins. Cruz is a solid WR2/3.

Dennis Pitta suffered a right hip dislocation in Sunday's Week 3 loss to the Browns.

It's the same hip Pitta dislocated and fractured in training camp of 2013. Per the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens are concerned Pitta suffered a fracture, as well, something that can only be revealed based on testing. He will undergo an MRI shortly. If Pitta is done for the season -- which seems likely -- the Ravens will have to find ways to incorporate Torrey Smith more into their offense. Owen Daniels would take over as Baltimore's primary tight end.

LeSean McCoy rushed 20 times for 22 yards and caught one pass for zero yards in Sunday's Week 3 win over the Redskins.

McCoy left briefly early on to be checked for a concussion, but that wasn't the issue here. An Eagles offensive line that was the best in the league last year is currently operating at a bottom-five level thanks to injuries and suspensions. They had no prayer against a speedy Redskins front that we need to start taking very seriously against the run. The only shred of good news is that McCoy rushed 20 times compared to two for Darren Sproles, squashing any silly RBBC concerns. McCoy is a good bet to bounce back despite a tough matchup at San Francisco in Week 4.

Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall tore his Achilles' tendon in Sunday's Week 3 loss at Washington.

It's one of the most devastating injuries a player can have, especially for a 30-year-old corner that relies so heavily on cutting ability. Hall, who signed a four-year, $17 million contract in February, leaves the Redskins very thin in the secondary. They'll continue to be a team for offenses to attack via the air, not the ground.
Sep 21 - 4:50 PM

Jeremy Maclin caught eight passes for 154 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's Week 3 win over the Redskins.

Maclin owners felt sick after he had an early 80-yard touchdown wiped out by a silly block in the back by Jason Kelce. But he dominated after that, making some really tough catches and continuing to show zero ill-effects from last season's ACL tear. Maclin now has a touchdown in three straight games and has been targeted at least 10 times in each of them. He'll be a strong WR2 against the 49ers in Week 4.
Sep 21 - 4:45 PM

Kirk Cousins completed 30-of-48 passes for 427 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's Week 3 loss at Philadelphia.

Robert Griffin III may never get his job back. Cousins turned in one of the best performances by a quarterback all season, repeatedly throwing perfectly into tiny windows all over the field. He's clearly very comfortable in this Jay Gruden scheme that turned Andy Dalton into fantasy's No. 5 overall quarterback last season. Cousins has touch matchups coming up (vs. NYG, vs. SEA, at ARZ), but needs to be owned in all formats. If he holds off RG3 all year, note that the Redskins host this rancid Eagles pass defense in Week 16 -- also known as fantasy Super Bowl week.
