Cardinals signed LB Vic So'oto.

So'oto has appeared in 12 career games, with five coming between the Packers and Raiders last season. He's just a body for a team that lost Sam Acho and Lorenzo Alexander in Week 3.

Speaking to ESPN's Josina Anderson, Johnny Manziel's father said, "My son is a druggie and he needs help."

"Hopefully he doesn't die before he comes to his senses," said Paul Manziel. "I hate to say it but I hope he goes to jail. I mean, that would be the best place for him." This isn't the first time Manziel's father has publicly pleaded for Johnny to seek help and it probably won't be the last. Earlier this week, Manziel's lawyer Bob Hinton accidentally revealed to the Associated Press that he's seeking a plea deal in his domestic violence case. Things just keep getting worse for Johnny Football.

Saints placed CB Kyle Wilson on injured reserve.

The Saints haven't disclosed his injury. Wilson entered the league as a first-round pick in 2010 but hasn't lived up to expectations. He's logged just four interceptions over 95 career games including one in 15 contests last season. The 28-year-old is headed for free agency after this season.

According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, the Broncos haven't engaged in contract discussions with franchise player Von Miller since early this month.

In other words, nothing has changed. The sides are still at an impasse with Miller angling for more guaranteed money. The reigning Super Bowl MVP has threatened to sit out the season if the Broncos don't meet his demands but that seems extremely unlikely. The deadline for the two sides to reach a long-term deal is July 15.

Dorial Green-Beckham said he "had a good offseason."

Not many people would characterize an offseason in which they lost their first-team role to a rookie as a success, but Green-Beckham is staying positive. "I had a hamstring problem that set me back early," DGB said, "but other than that I have been taking care of myself, learning the playbook, and have done my best to play fast." Green-Beckham will likely open the season in the starting lineup, but it is concerning he seems unfazed by the snaps he is losing to rookie Tajae Sharpe. He is an extremely volatile WR4 for fantasy.

The results of the investigation into sexual assault allegations against Nelson Agholor have been sent to Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams.

Williams' office will decide whether or not to bring criminal charges. Both investigators and the D.A.'s office have remained tight-lipped about the case, but Agholor's attorney has strongly denied his client did anything wrong. Williams usually announces his decisions in high-profile cases via a press conference, but it is still unclear when the decision will be handed down.

Carlos Hyde said new coach Chip Kelly's system "will help showcase all my abilities."

"Not just as a ball carrier, but also as a threat in the passing game," Hyde continued. "I think it's going to be an exciting year." Hyde has never been a consistent threat in the passing game in the NFL and never had more than 16 catches in a season while at Ohio State. Still, the buzz all offseason has been he will be more involved as a receiver under Kelly. We will believe that when we see it, but Hyde still has RB1 upside if he can stay healthy -- something he has struggled to do to this point in his career.

MMQB's Albert Breer reports the Dolphins are "pretty happy" with Ryan Tannehill's performance in the offseason program.

New coach Adam Gase said he tried to push Tannehill to the "breaking point" this offseason, but the fifth-year quarterback apparently responded well. Gase has coaxed above-career-average seasons out of both Peyton Manning and Jay Cutler in his last two stops, and Tannehill is working with the best pass-catching weapons of his career. He is a solid upside pick late in drafts.

MMQB's Albert Breer reports contract negotiations between the Redskins and franchise-tagged QB Kirk Cousins are "going nowhere."

Breer reports both sides expect Cousins to play out 2016 under the terms of the franchise tag, which would pay him $19.95 million. Likely thinking he will be in an even better negotiating position this time next year, Cousins has little reason to accept a cut-rate deal before the July 15 deadline, and Washington likely wants to see him do it again before they shell out franchise-quarterback money. No matter how grim it looks in June, these deals usually get done at the deadline, but it would not be surprising if Cousins played out the season under the tag.

Suspended Raiders OLB Aldon Smith will be arraigned for a probation violation Friday.

Smith will also be in court to argue a motion to suppress evidence in a DUI case from August of 2015. Those charges led to his release from the 49ers and his current one-year suspension. Smith is eligible to apply for reinstatement in November. A probation violation will not help his cause.

Kyle Rudolph believes he's the best tight end in the NFL.

"Route running and catching balls, to many, is all that matters," Rudolph reasoned. "But it’s also (about) being one of the best blockers, one of the best pass protectors." Rudolph went on to say he believes fantasy football hurts his reputation. "The world revolves around fantasy football ... But I know that when I come to work every Monday, and I (watch) the film, I may have only caught two balls, but if I did my job in the run game and pass protection, (Vikings coach Mike Zimmer) is going to be happy." Rudolph is correct that no one will ever mistake his passing game numbers for elite. He's incorrect that his game is amongst the league's most well rounded. Pro Football Focus graded him as the league's No. 35 tight end in 2016. We'd say that sounds about right. Happy offseason.

Profootballtalk reports there's "buzz" teams have let Broncos franchise player Von Miller know they'd have interest in 2017 if he sits out the 2016 season.

That, of course, would be tampering, but hardly unusual by the NFL's standards. The Broncos would not be able to slap Miller with the "exclusive" tag in 2017, and teams readying offers would "only" have to surrender first- and third-round picks if the Broncos decided not to match. It's intriguing, but still very farfetched. The odds are extremely low Miller follows through on his hardball threat of sitting out the season. The sides have 22 more days to come to an understanding.
