Jermichael Finley (bruised spinal cord) will have more medical visits this week before the Packers make a decision on whether to place him on IR.

Finley wrote an extremely compelling first-person account of his injury and the fallout for SI.com. In it, he said that doctors believe it's a matter of when, not if, he'll play football again. However, all he can do now is let the two-centimeter bruise on his spinal cord heal and gather more medical opinions on his complicated injury. Finley can safely be considered out indefinitely.

Jets OC John Morton said the team plans to use a three-man running back committee going forward.

Rather than separating himself from the pack, Powell was out-touched by both Matt Forte and rookie Elijah McGuire while seeing just 18 snaps in last week's loss to Oakland. Mired in a three-man timeshare in one of the league's worst offenses, Powell is looking like a wasted fantasy pick.

Odell Beckham (ankle) said he expects to play "a lot more" against the Eagles in Week 3.

OBJ was eased in on Monday night after missing the opener with a high-ankle sprain, but it doesn't sound like he'll have any restrictions heading into Week 3. The Giants' offense has been in a funk but Beckham remains a weekly WR1 in all formats.
Sep 21 - 2:09 PM

Jarvis Landry (knee) returned to practice on Thursday.

Beat writer Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald said Landry was "practicing some," which suggests he got in a limited session. Landry was absent from Wednesday's practice, but should be fine for Week 3 against the Jets. He pulled in a whopping 13 receptions in last week's opener, though he only averaged six yards per catch.
Sep 21 - 1:46 PM

Randall Cobb (chest) remained sidelined on Thursday.

Cobb was supposed to be out of the woods after an MRI on his shoulder came back negative, but instead he's looking on the wrong side of questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals. Cobb will need to get in at least a limited session on Friday to have a realistic shot at suiting up. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, the Pack play at 4:25 ET. Hopefully Cobb's status is resolved by the morning.
Sep 21 - 1:39 PM

Terrance West (thigh) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice.

It's not a promising sign for his Week 3 availability. Buck Allen has out-touched West 40-29 through two weeks and would probably be close to an every-down player if West can't go against the Jaguars this week.
Sep 21 - 1:23 PM

Rob Kelley (ribs) practiced again on Thursday.

Kelley will probably remain "limited" on the injury report, but he's now fully on track to suit up against the Raiders on Sunday Night Football. With Kelley at less than 100 percent, the Redskins will probably try to keep Samaje Perine involved, rendering Kelley a risky RB3 even for a solid matchup.
Sep 21 - 1:18 PM

Jordan Reed (chest, toe) was seen stretching at the start of Thursday's practice.

It's an encouraging sign after Reed missed Wednesday's session, though we'll wait to see how he's listed on the injury report. Reed has already drawn 14 targets from Kirk Cousins and remains an every-week starter in fantasy whenever he's healthy.
Sep 21 - 1:16 PM

Danny Amendola (concussion) is practicing Thursday.

Amendola was limited on Wednesday. He likely will be again on Thursday, but he has a good shot to return this week after getting in two practices in a row. Amendola will be a solid WR3 if he suits up.
Sep 21 - 1:02 PM

Rex Burkhead (ribs) did not practice Thursday.

Burkhead also missed Wednesday's session, putting his availability for Week 3 in serious doubt. If Burkhead cannot go, Dion Lewis should see more snaps against the Texans.
Sep 21 - 12:52 PM

Dolphins coach Adam Gase said Jay Ajayi's knee injury is not serious.

Ajayi was given the day off Wednesday, but there was never much concern about his availability for this week. Ajayi is a high-end RB1 against a Jets defense which is likely to be without Muhammad Wilkerson.
Sep 21 - 12:43 PM

Dolphins coach Adam Gase said Jarvis Landry's knee injury is not serious.

Both Landry and Jay Ajayi were given Wednesday off because of knee injuries, but neither issue is serious. Landry will be ready to face the Jets coming off a 15 target outing in the season opener.
