Giants CB Corey Webster (groin/ankle) has been ruled out for Week 10.

Webster's body seems to be letting him down at age 31. He's an obvious release candidate after the season. Webster has played in four games this year.

Marlon Mack rushed two times for 18 yards in the Colts' Week 6 loss to the Titans.

He failed to catch either of his two targets. Mack exploded for a 22-yard run on his first attempt, but lost four on the next carry in the first quarter and never touched the ball again. He's now had 12 carries go for zero or negative yards. Mack is the definition of boom or bust. The Colts said they wanted to get Mack more involved after his strong Week 5, but it didn't happen at all. Frank Gore was running well and turned 12 touches into 67 yards, while Robert Turbin chipped in 40 yards on seven touches before leaving with an elbow injury in the final quarter. Mack is worth a bench stash, but the Colts love their old guys like Gore, who never gets hurt.

T.Y. Hilton caught just 1-of-4 targets for 19 yards in the Colts' Week 6 loss to the Titans.

The Titans came into this one bleeding fantasy points and production to opposing receivers, but Hilton was unable to get much going at all. He's had two massive games at home this season -- 7-153-1 vs. CLE and 7-177 vs. SF -- but has been real quiet on the road with 3-57-0, 3-30-0, and now 1-19-0 lines. His home-road splits have been a story his entire career, and things only get worse without Andrew Luck in the lineup. The Colts head back out on the road in Week 7 against Jacksonville's No. 1 pass defense. Hilton will be a borderline WR3/4 for that matchup.

Marcus Mariota completed 23-of-32 passes for 306 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Titans' Week 6 win over the Colts on Monday night.

Mariota missed Week 5 with a hamstring injury but returned after the one-week absence. He looked very rusty early in the game and couldn't use his mobility at any point, but the Titans' top-notch offensive line protected him all night, allowing just one sack, which was technically a run for a loss of a yard by Mariota. Mariota got more of a feel as a passer as the game went on and hooked up deep with rookie WR Taywan Taylor for a 53-yard score on a busted coverage in the fourth quarter to break a 22-22 tie. As long as he avoided setbacks and can use the practice week to get closer to 100 percent, Mariota will be an elite QB1 option next week at Cleveland.

Derrick Henry rushed 19 times for 131 yards and one touchdown in the Titans' 36-22, Week 6 win over the Colts on Monday night.

Henry had merely been grinding out yards and was simply trying to kill the clock late in the fourth quarter when he busted a 72-yard touchdown scamper with less than a minute to play, putting the Titans up by 13 and securing the second-half comeback win. Henry and DeMarco Murray appeared to be rotating series with Murray looking far less than 100 percent. Both scored touchdowns, and the Titans stood by their word of getting Henry more involved after getting just 10 total carries the previous two games combined. Murray is never going to get to full health if he keeps playing on a balky hammy, so that leaves Henry as a risky standalone RB3 each week. The Titans get the winless Browns on the road in Week 7.

Marcus Mariota (hamstring) is active and starting Week 6 against the Colts on Monday night.

As expected. It was reported Sunday that Mariota would get the start, and it's now official. Matt Cassel was a total disaster last week in Miami, so even a less than full health Mariota is a significant improvement. Mariota may not be able to escape as much on a balky hammy, but he's still a legitimate QB1 in a home spot against a bad pass defense. Fire him up in redraft formats.

Coach Mike McCarthy emphatically shot down any possibility of the Packers signing free agent Colin Kaepernick.

"Is there any idea of bringing in Colin Kaepernick to compete for that backup job?," a reporter asked McCarthy, who fired back, rhetorically asking, "Did you just listen to any question I just answered!? I got three years invested in Brett Hundley, two years invested in Joe Callahan. The quarterback room is exactly where it needs to be." He's not interested; not that we expected the Packers to be.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Redskins K Dustin Hopkins (hip) is week to week.

He's out for Week 7 against the Eagles on Monday Night Football, so the Redskins will be signing a kicker. Hopkins has turned into one of the better fantasy kickers since settling in with the Redskins in 2015.

Coach Dirk Koetter confirmed Jameis Winston has a sprained AC joint in his right (throwing) shoulder and is day to day.

A sprained AC joint sent backup QB Ryan Griffin to I.R. over the summer, but his was more severe and came with a 4-6 week timeline. Koetter says Winston's is far more minor, and he could even play Week 7 against the Bills as long as he's able to drive the ball down the field. Winston is unlikely to throw on Wednesday, so we may not have a good feel for his status until later this week.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy revealed Monday that Aaron Rodgers needs surgery on his broken right collarbone.

It's to his throwing side. McCarthy didn't give an exact timetable, but the fact that Rodgers needs surgery almost certainly knocks him out for the season. Brett Hundley will be the Packers' new starter with Joe Callahan behind him.

Chiefs re-signed RB C.J. Spiller.

Spiller has been off and on Kansas City's roster since the preseason; he's now been signed four different times by the Chiefs this year. Spiller's return is an indication Charcandrick West (concussion) will miss Thursday night's game.

Raiders signed ILB Navorro Bowman, formerly of the 49ers, to a one-year, $3 million contract.

He never even made it to Dallas. Still a useful run defender, Bowman will add toughness to a weak Oakland inside linebacker corps. He is a liability in pass coverage, however, and had been losing passing-down snaps before the 49ers released him. The Raiders play on Thursday Night Football this week, but we wouldn't be surprised to see Bowman log significant snaps right away.
