Andrew Hawkins (hamstring) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

The Bengals are just managing Hawkins' reps after he tweaked his hamstring in Week 13. Hawkins played through the injury against the Chargers, and will do the same against the Colts.

NFL suspended free agent CB Justin Gilbert four games.

It's unclear if Gilbert violated the substance-abuse or performance-enhancing drugs policy. Either way, it helps explain his February release by the Steelers. Still only 25, Gilbert appeared in 12 games for the Steelers last season, but is probably just about out of NFL chances.

Odell Beckham says he will be present for mandatory minicamp.

The Giants and Giants media are treating Beckham skipping "voluntary" OTAs like the crime of the century, but he's merely abiding by the CBA. The NFL would be best served by abolishing the farcical notion that teams respect offseason workouts as "voluntary." Beckham, who has two years remaining on his rookie deal, is in extension territory.

Ravens ILB C.J. Mosley is recovering from shoulder surgery, but it's not considered a long-term concern.

Coach John Harbaugh didn't provide an exact timeline, but it sounds like the team expects Mosley to be ready for camp. The Ravens didn't seem to have any worries about Mosley's health when they exercised his fifth-year team option for 2018 late last month. Coming off another strong year, Mosley is a candidate for a long-term deal.

Ravens TE Maxx Williams is recovering from a knee surgery "no other football player has had," but is expected to be ready for training camp.

That was the extent of coach John Harbaugh's update. Williams went down with a knee injury last Week 4, finishing the year on injured reserve with little in the way of update. The ailment was initially described as a "cartilage issue." The No. 55 overall pick of the 2015 draft, Williams was a playmaker in college, but has been an NFL bust so far.

Dennis Pitta says "nobody is making more plays" in Ravens OTAs than Breshad Perriman.

We would hope a 23-year-old former first-rounder would be able to light it up in padless practices, but it's still notable that Perriman is making plays and standing out. Perriman flashed as a sophomore after missing his entire rookie year with a knee injury, but was still exceedingly raw. He's supposedly improved his chemistry with Joe Flacco this offseason. After failing to add a receiver in the draft or free agency, the Ravens are putting the weight of the world on Perriman's shoulders.

Bears signed WR Victor Cruz to a one-year, $2 million deal.

He joins Kendall Wright, Markus Wheaton and ex-teammate Rueben Randle as a veteran flier in the Bears' Alshon Jeffery-less receiver corps. Returning from a torn patellar tendon, Cruz somehow averaged 15.0 yards per catch last season, but it didn't show up on film. Cruz no longer offers legitimate play-making ability. It's not a guarantee he makes the 53-man roster.

Amari Cooper said he thinks he can be "a lot more" productive moving forward.

Cooper has surpassed 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons, but he struggled down the stretch both years. Just two of the nine 100-yard performances of his career have come after Week 8, and he averaged just 46 yards a game over the final eight of last season. If he can fix his late-season swoons, Cooper will be a sure-fire WR1 this year.

Vikings OC Pat Shurmur said the team has been "really pleased" with Laquon Treadwell's progress this offseason.

"He came back and he was really on point with what he’s supposed to be doing mentally," Shurmur said. "He’s been out here competing and doing a nice job running routes and catching the ball." The comments came after a practice in which Treadwell ran with the first-team offense. The Vikings brought in contingency plans this offseason, but Treadwell seems to be doing his part to ensure they are not needed.

Luke Kuechly said he is tired of hearing questions about his concussions.

"Hopefully we can move on from that and not ask any more questions about concussions," Kuechly said. "I'm done with that." Kuechly also added he does not think about suffering another head injury. The linebacker is clearly trying to move away from the concerns, but the fact remains he has missed nine games in the last two seasons because of head injuries. They will remain a concern even if he does not want to talk about them.

Rob Gronkowski (back) has been cleared to be on the field at practice.

Gronk's recovery has been progressing well, and he was on the field with the Patriots for the first time today. Gronk might be limited throughout the offseason program, but this is good news as he gets "ready to roll" into the rest of the preseason. Gronk's injury history is well documented, but the Patriots have shown confidence in him by restructuring his contract this week. Gronkowski should be fully ready for the Patriots' opener.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera said he thinks criticism of Kelvin Benjamin's conditioning has been unfair.

Benjamin looks heavy in pictures and videos from OTAs, but Rivera said he likes where the receiver is in terms of his conditioning. Of course, Rivera is the one who said Benjamin reported for the offseason program "a little heavy." Even if he is not in top shape right now, Benjamin has time to get there before camp.
